A great find, and just what we needed! It was perfect for my husband, myself and our teenage son. We took the upstairs bedroom and he had the downstairs bedroom. We loved the fire pit outside and having a front row seat to the bay. The house was quaint and just perfect for the three of us. We enjoyed walking around North Beach, and also enjoyed a couple of their great restaurants, even in the off season!

We took a small vacation with my sister’s family and we loved the location. Our kids enjoyed the small play area in the basement with the arcade machine and foosball table. We cooked every night and they had all useful appliances. We used the Ninja air fryer and Keurig machine every day. Since we went in January after a snowstorm the road was a little hazardous to use and the lake was completely frozen, so we spent most times indoors. We did enjoy going to the dock and looking at the frozen lake. This will be a great place to visit during the summer, they had Kayaks to use and a nice dock to jump from and fish. We would definitely come back.

Erin's place fit the 6 of us, plus our dog, very comfortably, and it was great being on the water and in a quiet neighborhood. Erin was a very responsive host and was quick to address any questions and issues that we had.

Thank you to John for a lovely stay at The River House! We enjoyed a gorgeous sunny sunset happy hour on the tiki bar dock and moody views of fog and mist rolling over the water all in one weekend. John’s place is clean, comfortable, and cozy. We had everything we could possibly need for a weekend of quiet, beauty, and relaxation. Can’t wait to come back!

Absolutely amazing house and location!! Our family had an incredible week spent enjoying the property & views, spending time watching the sunsets by the fire, and kayaking around the bay. It's a great spot to teach kids to paddle and our 7 and 9-year old both enjoyed learning on the still waters near the sandy beach. The property and house are both thoughtfully designed and have so many spots to relax, read, watch the birds, and take in the views - made it feel like there was never a reason to leave. We had an incredibly peaceful week and would love to visit again!!

The experience was once in a lifetime and was something that I would look forward to doing again. It was close to DC Baltimore and other metropolitan area.

We just had another wonderful stay at the Cozy Cottage in North Beach. The house is just lovely and quite comfortable. Our dog Frankie certainly felt as relaxed as we did. The view from the large front window is just great. The Chesapeake Bay, and all the dog walkers on the boardwalk are just amazing. Jerome and Carrie are always friendly, responsive and accomodating. Last, but not least, we can't wait to go back.

Lovely spot. Beautiful views. Excellent kitchen and living space with really nice bedrooms. Slept six very comfortably. Would definitely return!

Wow.. where do I start? I have a strict heart healthy diet. Only whole grain products with no dairy, meat, nuts, and oil. Brenda communicated well before the start to make sure her special dinner and breakfast dishes met my requirements. Brenda did a magnificent job. Not were the meals outstanding, the setting for her air b&b is perfect. The Northern Neck is a special place in Virginia. Staying at Brenda’s “Perfect View” in the Northern Neck was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience!

We had a great stay at the Blue House and can’t recommend it enough for your next trip to Lake Anna! The house was well-equipped, clean, and the host was flexible and accommodating with our check-in/out times. The property has beautiful, waterfront views and is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay again!

I stayed here with my three kids for a little getaway, and we had the best time. The place was super clean and spacious, and the modern decor and finishes were clearly chosen with care—it just felt really good to be there. The game rooms were such a fun touch, each with its own theme, and the kids were obsessed! One of our favorite parts was the scavenger hunt—it was such a fun and unexpected surprise, and it gave us a memory we’ll definitely hold onto. The host was incredibly kind, polite, and respectful. Overall, it was just a great experience and a really special trip with my kids.

Misun is aptly named as she is funshine sun shine and david was the strong silent good in the kitchen and able cabana boy! We had a great time at their place ad loved all the little cute touches, The house is gorgeous, bathrooms very clean, we had all we could want, Breakfasts were really interesting and delicious. House is well placed to be near all the cool things you want to do adn right next to the beach. The pool and patio area were super cool. I cant say enough about what a great little spot it was I loved that it was grownups only. We had a wonderful weekend and would love to come again.

Sandy Feet Retreat in Colonial Beach was a great place to take my daughter and the grandkids for a 3 day Spring Break holiday. The condo was beautifully furnished and very well located on the boardwalk. My family loved having access to the beach right outside the condo and spent many hours collecting shells and sea glass. Fishing from the pier was a thrill for my grandson. I enjoyed peaceful mornings on the balcony and evening time there listening to the waves each day. Thank you Brittany for everything you do to assure a lovely stay for your guests.

We really enjoyed the stay at the River House. We are a repeat customer and the house did not disappoint us. The host is very gracious and everything is just as the website has it listed. We enjoyed the amenities, lots of videos, games and the hottub. There is a short walk to the beach which we visited twice a day. We loved every minute of it! Thank you!

We really enjoyed our week at Ppb! It was so relaxing and peaceful. The neighborhood is quiet. There were 11 of us and plenty of room. The house was clean and accommodating. The pool was perfect for hours of fun! There is a public boat ramp right down the road which made it easy to take our jet ski out every day. The beach is quiet and private. We would definitely stay here again!

Shannon and Len's place was exactly as listed, the description of the marina and area were very accurate. I especially appreciated the "little extras" in the apartment: Sleep Number bed, soft bedding, fluffy towels, great water pressure in the shower, well-outfitted kitchen, coffee bar, extra snack treats, enjoyable outdoor space with adequate seating, and the lists of recommended area attractions. My hosts could not have been nicer or more accommodating! I had limited time in the area, but I did take advantage of hiking in two nearby state parks. My best time was sitting on the "beach" or deck and watching the sunset as I listened to 1970s/80s tunes! I would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Heather’s place. The house was clean, comfortable, and we felt taken care of. The porch with the view of the water and sunrises was so relaxing. Visiting during the off-season was peaceful, but there was still plenty to do in the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway weekend.

Beautiful home a short walk down to the lake and dock! Clean and comfortable. Very nice residential area. A great relaxing getaway! Screened in porch and fire pit are awesome! Would definitely stay again!

We loved this snug, little spot on the water. Watching the sunrise over the water made for enjoyable mornings. It had a full kitchen that made cooking our meals very easy. Two seating areas in the living area gave us room to spread out. Fast wifi....I even stayed online while I was down by the water. I wasn't a huge fan of the overly curious swans, but I did find some really nice pieces of sea glass down by the water. The heat in this house was great.

Our day was absolutely wonderful. When we got there, Melissa and Michael were outside and they greeted us with their two dogs that our two-year-old loved so much and still is talking about. The inside of the house smelled so good and everything was so high-quality the kitchen was stocked with everything you needed from kitchenware to coffee creamer to coffee to tea to snacks. It was a great time! It was really nice to sit on the dock by the water where there was a wooden bench, and there were also some chairs out in the grass that we could sit in. 10 out of 10 recommend and would love to go back again. Also, great to be hosted by a fellow New Englander 😆

This tiny house was incredibly cute and comfortable. I spent three nights, mostly just listening to the birds and the river (and, on one night, the howling wind). Sunsets were breathtaking. and Laurie lent me a kayak so I could go explore the marsh just upstream. It was a wonderful, peaceful retreat.

Everything about our stay was perfect! Hosts were super easy to communicate with, very kind and considerate (offering an early check in and late check out since we were staying for very short amount of time) I’ve stayed in many Airbnb’s and this is by far the best! They thought of everything to make you feel at home. We absolutely loved watching the sunset out back while roasting marshmallows in the fire pit and the kids loved the private beach. The house decor was beautiful as well. No one wanted to leave! We will definitely be back!
