The place was fantastic! Great location, very cozy, conveniently located, close to all that Balat has to offer. Ișil, was amazing 👏! she met us on the first day, did a detailed walk through of the space, showed us around the neighborhood, and was available for any of our questions while we stayed at her gorgeous space. she even helped us with unstanding local transportation. Would absolutely stay again. Communication was second to none. Thank you, thank you!

We had a fantastic stay at this beautifully restored historic home! The house is full of charm and character, with a perfect balance of spacious communal areas for everyone to enjoy and enough bathrooms to comfortably accommodate a large group. The neighborhood is stunning and well-connected, with easy access to both the old and new parts of the city via ferry and tram. Our host was incredibly attentive and responsive to all our needs, making the stay even more enjoyable. If you're traveling with a group, consider requesting extra keys for added convenience. Highly recommend this wonderful place!

I rented a house for two weeks. It is the center of Balat - around many delicious restaurants and small shops. Seyda and her family are very helpful. They helped me with everything. I had a problem with the nanny, and Sayda helped me solve it. They also make transfers to the airport. Communication with the host was as comfortable as possible: any shortcomings were corrected within a couple of hours. I am very satisfied.

Highly recommended. Location is perfect. Balat is different from the usual Taksim, Galata, Sultanahmet and the like. Hosts are extremely responsive. Would come here again. Very good value for money. Thanks

I recently stayed at sortie home’s place in Istanbul, and it was an incredible experience. The property was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to most of the touristic places, making it easy to explore the area. The host was exceptionally welcoming and responsive, ensuring I had everything I needed during my stay. I stayed in this apartment for 5 days. It was just like the pictures, very clean and modern. The location is great - just a 15-minute walk to Taksim Square and 30 minutes to Nisantasi. Burak and his father were very kind, helpful, and always there for us. Everything worked perfectly, and if I come back to Istanbul, I would definitely book this Airbnb again. Thankyou!🌸

The apartment was clean, had a nice view, and was in a good location close to Taksim. Burak was very kind and responsive—when I had a small problem late at night, around 11 pm but I messaged him and he came right away to help I really appreciated his support It was a comfortable and easy stay overall

My partner and I had a very good stay at this flat! The place is well-equipped with plenty of amenities—there's a lovely swimming pool, a gym, and even shops within the complex. The internet connection was excellent, allowing us to easily work online, hold meetings, and handle downloads and uploads without any issues. We did encounter a couple of small issues. On our first night, we weren’t informed about the access card required to move around the complex, which left us a bit stuck until someone kindly helped us out. Additionally, there was a minor issue with the toilet, but the host was responsive and came over almost immediately to fix it, which we really appreciated. Despite these hiccups, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great place with fantastic amenities!

Konumu çok güzel olan tarihi bir bina. Geniş bir terasa sahip. Evde kahve, su, yemek yapabilmeniz için gereken malzemeler var. Galata kulesine 3-5 dk yürüme mesafesinde. Evin hemen altında bir market var. Merdivenler biraz fazla ve asansör yok fakat bizim için problem değildi. Çocukla seyahat ettim ve güzel zaman geçirdik. Temiz ve rahattı.

Clean and completed with everything apartment, perfectly match with description and photos. Lisa was responsive and helped a lot with details of the arrival and during the stay. Stay was great, but during 1st May Holiday area was blocked with police, so only buses may get in, so check twice your road trip.

It’s a small but clean apartment. You’ll have everything you need to have an enjoyable stay, trust me! Although there’re some gradients on some surrounding streets, but it’s a lively neighbourhood, with supermarts, bakery, weekend market as well. In addition, it’s walkable to good restaurants & tourist spots. Most importantly Kerem is a wonderful host. He’s helpful & determined to provide you with the best services, including local recommendations, if needed. I’ll return if I do visit Istanbul again.

The Airbnb was a great place to stay and the location was perfect. Very walkable to get around and have everything you need in a comfortable distance.
