Чем вы займетесь

Join us as we give you an introduction to sushi. In this course we will be covering the basics of sushi rice, basics knife skills and sushi rolls. We will be giving you tips on where to shop and all the skills necessary to make sushi rolls at home.
We'll start the class with a meet and greet with a couple of small appetizers. We'll then move on to making sushi rice and basic knife cuts for sushi rolls. Once that is done we will start rolling. You will be making 3 rolls total with our guidance. The first roll will be our version of a California roll, then second will be a spicy tuna roll. The final roll will be a make your own. The class will be concluded with an optional dinner of your sushi rolls.

We are Trifecta Cooks! We're a group of three friends that met during our time at Morimoto (Iron Chef) in Napa. Also the opening crew at Village Sake (Top 100 in SF) in Marin. Since then, we've started our own catering company Trifecta Cooks based in San Jose! Chefs Lai Chao, Ryan Gallego and Jason Artajos. Our approach is Modern Japanese Cuisine with Southeast Asian influences (Filipino, Thai, Laos), focusing on superior quality and traditional techniques. Tapas style sushi and small plates. This class will we hosted in Chef Lai and Chef Ryan's loft apartment that they have converted into a pop up kitchen space. It's an awesome space where they host sushi omakase dinners.

This was a great experience. Lai has a high attention to detail and it comes out with every ingredient he has prepared for us to put into the sushi. Very delicious! And very fun night!

Great experience! Lai was a great teacher and the ingredients he used were amazing. Lai prepared each element of the sushi with great care. The quality was top notch.

I would highly recommend this class. my husband and I did this for his 30th birthday and had a great time. The sushi was delicious and Lai was a great host. It was very relaxed and we learned a lot about sushi.

Highly recommend this experience - Lai is very skilled and extremely friendly, he uses fresh and real ingredients, and he shared so many background tips and fun facts. Definitely worth the time and money!

Lai made sushi rolling easy to learn and understand. He taught us a couple of different ways to do things, and in a way that we could do at home. Awesome experience!

This was such a great experience. There were seven of us which was a perfect size. Lai and Ryan were so nice, welcoming, knowledgeable, funny and clearly knew what they were doing. The fish and other ingredients were so fresh and there was something nice about doing this in their space, not a large commercial kitchen. We brought our own wine which was nice. We had good laughs and all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Highly recommend doing this anyone who is considering. Also, great value for a reasonable price. Book now!
