This house was amazing, perfect for our relaxing getaway! The rooms were ideal and the extra bedrooms in the annex were great. The garden and hot tub were fantastic. Trystan was a great host and nothing was too much trouble - even made sure we had an emergency delivery of wood!

We’ve just returned from an amazing bank holiday weekend at Louise’s property, celebrating a joint 40th birthday with friends, and it couldn’t have been better. The weather was fantastic, so we spent most of our time enjoying the sunny garden and the pool, which was a huge hit with both kids and big kids! The pool was much larger than we expected and it was always the perfect temperature. We made great use of the BBQ and fire pit area, which was especially lovely at sunset. The house itself is beautiful. All the bedrooms are a great size and with stunning views, and the kitchen that had everything we needed and more. One afternoon, we walked across a couple of fields to The Blacksmith Arms pub, about 15 minutes away, and had a lush lunch. During the days, we watched birds in the garden, and at dusk, we were treated to the sight of bats swooping overhead. The kids also had a great time visiting the chickens. Thank you so much, Louise. A great place to stay. Very comfortable. Lots of crockery, cutlery and pots & pans. great friendly communication prior to our stay. Was the perfect location for us to see family over Christmas and the house was decorated beautifully.

What an amazing hidden gem! Very off the beaten track. Gorgeous views and perfect location to stargaze in the hot tub. Really appreciated the personal escort when we got lost. Thank you 😊

Myself, my mum and sister recently stayed at Mark’s property, and we absolutely loved it! Such a beautiful building, peaceful surroundings, and the addition of the two happy friendly pups who came to see us now and then was a lovely bonus! Mark & Amelia were so helpful and responsive, providing local recommendations and lots of useful info. Also, the property is really accessible, and my mum (who is disabled and struggles with stairs) really benefitted from the downstairs bedroom and ensuite! Thank you so much such a wonderful stay, we’d definitely recommend to friends and family 😊

Extremely warm welcome from the lovely hosts to their beautiful and immaculately kept home with loving attention to every detail. Though we went over New Year with miserable/stormy weather the Boathouse was cosy and the sheltered wood burning hot tub was a must, perfect in all weathers. Drinking coffee early morning by the river’s edge was serene. Would highly recommend for a getaway.

My parents, my sister and her partner and I had a wonderful stay in Sarah’s house for 4 nights. The views from the front and the top terrace of the garden over looking Lyme Regis and the sea was spectacular. The house is beautiful inside and out and the we had all we needed during our stay including thoughtful extras like milk, tea, coffee, biscuits etc on arrival. We would definitely recommend staying here and would love to return in the future.

This is a lovely property with a huge amount of outdoor garden space. It has everything you need and is very close to Exeter City centre at the same time - you can get Deliveroo etc but you are essentially in the countryside overlooking lovely fields. Also great for M5 stop off. Gary kindly had lots of toys and books in the property for out two year old, a travel cot, high chair (etc). There's a spiral staircase so just be aware in terms of mobility and keeping an eye on the little ones! The hot tub was amazing.

The farm was in a beautiful setting, with gorgeous views. It was peaceful and spacious for our large family get together. Salcombe and the surrounding area is very lovely, with some challenging roads, but thats Devon! All the bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and private. The kitchen was excellent and very well equipped and Freya was helpful and friendly from the start and super responsive when we had a minor query. We loved our stay, would highly recommend and would love to stay again.

Really enjoyed our short stay, very cosy home from home feel and the location is perfect for exploring the local area. Emily was a perfect host who went above and beyond to make you feel settled, the complimentary baked goodies were a delicious touch!

We had a great stay here. A lovely place and peaceful setting. There were clear instructions for everything making our stay stress free. Great location for visiting Dartmoor national park. We also visited Blackpool sands beach which was amazing. The 1.30hr drive was worth it for us although there are closer beaches. Nice sitting at the meadow and having our morning coffee with the chickens who paid us a visit. Thank you Ilona for a great couple of days away

Beautiful accommodation, very tastefully furnished and comfortable. Village location was great with walks and pubs in easy reach. Only downside for us was nowhere really to let the dogs out of the door, had to walk them to the meadow.

We had a fantastic break at The Annex in Frogmore. It was equipped with everything we needed for our 3 night stay and the home was beautifully clean and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub overlooking the estuary and walking across to the pub opposite in the evenings.

Had an absolutely amazing stay and Susan was informative and made the whole experience as relaxing as possible. Amazing views at the location and the hot tub made it even better. Cannot fault a single thing with this location and we will definitely be booking again! Would definitely recommend to others.

What an amazing stay, scenic location , great attention to detail in the shepherds huts with everything you require for a stay. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back again. Peter the host went above and beyond to ensure our stay was one to remember .. A true gem in the rolling hills or Somerset.

This was our third time staying at Torvale and we loved it! The place was easy to find and get into, it was clean and tidy, and we were given some lovely welcome treats to make the holiday extra special. The facilities are fantastic - the hot tub is a particular favourite - and we always love how private and comfortable Torvale is. The hosts are also great - always helpful, easy to contact and very welcoming. Can't recommend enough!

What a little hidden haven ❤️❤️ So pleased we found it😍😍 a real treat to find a such a peaceful little place to just go and chill out the dogs loved a it too 🥰 And a added bonus to be able to roll down that lovely hill ha ha lol such fun 🤣🤣 who says we need to grow old graceful 🥰🥰😂😂 Thank you so much Tim we will be back!!

what a lovely stay! Great communication throughout from Amy, making us feel very welcome. Hunters Barn was exactly as we thought it would be, in a lovely setting with friendly animals. And beautiful inside. Wish we could have stayed longer. Amy's little touches were a lovely surprise too, and the box of toys left out for our son to play with was another added bonus and very appreciated. Pleasure staying here.

What a great find! The Log Cabin was a perfect base for the pair of us exploring Devon. After busy days on the coast or in Dartmoor, it was great to BBQ in the big garden, watching evening fall and the swallows dart about. It’s compact but doesn’t feel like that owing to Belinda’s clever use of space and décor. The pictures are accurate. Whatever space you’re in feels spacious and even sumptuous. I could be in the kitchen happily doing my thing while my partner lounged in the pleasant living room. Belinda is a great host, very helpful, coming to our rescue several times. We look forward to returning.

Sue is an excellent host and answers questions very quickly. The cabin is very nice and well laid out, but perhaps the bedroom could have a little more space to get in and out of bed, but not a problem. Surroundings are peaceful and secluded, with good accessibility to Lyme Regis, Seaton and the Jurassic coast in general.

Had a really lovely stay for my boyfriend’s birthday celebrations, hot tub was lovely and the lodge itself was fabulous. We throughly enjoyed our stay very peaceful especially at night time. No complaints from us! Would defo stay again!

Wonderful stay in a beautiful setting. I would definitely recommend and would love to return if Katie will have us!
