Had a short stay at Barley Croft lodge. Ray was great he rang to check if everything was ok with our lodge and was very polite and helpful. The lodge is in lovely surroundings with lots to do locally. It was ideal for our 1 year old daughter who could wander on the veranda safely and look at the two donkeys in the adjacent field. The lodge has everything you need and is close by the villages of Melbourne and Breedon have places to visit. An all around great experience. Thank you Ray.

Wow! What an amazing place, just retuned after a wonderful, relaxing family break. Everything was perfect and just what we were hoping for! The cabin is beautiful, cosy and clean and had everything you need, the views were breathtaking, and the hot tub was a bonus! The owner, David was great and couldn’t do enough for you. He let the children visit the cade lambs and feed and hold them, which they absolutely loved as well as playing with his beautiful dog! Thank you for a lovely break and we cant wait to visit again xx

Clean and cosy. I was staying here the night before a conference; I felt very safe. Chloe was great at answering a query about a place to go walking nearby.

We’re a family of 5 and were staying at Lesley’s house for our daughter’s graduation. The house was perfect for our multi generations and we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. I would highly recommend staying in South Croxton.

Our first experience using Air BnB and Topiary Barn did not disappoint!! It was everything and more that we needed for our stay. The private garden area was a bonus and perfect for our morning coffee. We are already planning to stay again!

Good location for Derby and National Trust properties. Very quiet. Cosy bungalow with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Thank you Suki and Jas. Little pointer. Press quite hard on the numbers of the key lock to release. We were a little to gentle at first and took ages to get the key🤣

Highly recommend!! Went here with my sisters for some quality time together and it did not disappoint! Beautiful pod with great surrounds, extremely peaceful and great to just get away & relax. The pod itself was beautifully set out, had everything we could need for our weekend away. Perfect extra touches with the hot tub, hammocks and fire pit! Thank you Charlotte for being a great host! We hope to be back one day! 🩷

Wow! What a fantastic lodge and fantastic hosts. The views of the reservoir are simply stunning. Will and Ella couldn’t do enough for us. We had the best time and will be returning in the future for sure. Thanks again guys

Me and my family had a lovely stay at David’s place for the weekend. A great spot in the heart of Loughborough but still on a quiet road. David was very responsive and helpful.
