Es war eine ganz tolle Woche bei Euch. Liebevoll gestaltetes Zimmer mit kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten, für das Frühstück war schon gesorgt. Das Zimmer und der Balkon erlaubten einen grandiosen Blick auf die Lagune und das Meer. Super toller Strand direkt vor der Tür. Alles bereit zum Kajaken und Schnorcheln incl. einer tollen Unterwasserwelt. Sehr gute Tipps, jeder Zeit Ansprechpartner und wohltuender Kontakt. So liebe Haustiere, nicht aufdringlich aber gerne bereit sich streicheln zu lassen!!!! Wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause im Paradies. Vielen Dank Euch Grandios, Super, first class, Phantastisch

This place is an absolute paradise! The location right on the beach was second-to-none, and perfectly placed for a swim or a snorkel. Nicole and Kahiki (as well as their pets) were super friendly. Particularly appreciated their tips on where to eat, as well as their generosity with the snorkeling equipment. Would love to visit again!

This place is a hidden gem!! Nicole and Kahiki were great hosts - two amazing, warm-hearted people who made us feel welcome. They picked us up and dropped us back at the airport. On arrival the bungaloo was presented beautifully with lots of helpful tourist info. The bungaloo is very well equipped with ensuite, cooking facilities, a fan, games - we couldn't have asked for anything else. After exploring the island for a couple of days we realised we had to the most beachfront bungaloo on Rarotonga!! Possibly the best valued accommodation on the island, you just walk down the stairs and your in the lagoon. We found this side of the island to have to best snorkelling. The water is so safe out the front of the bungaloo, we did take our own reef shoes to avoid any cuts. We loved their dogs and cats, very well behaved! We went swimming with the dogs in the lagoon everyday, they live the good life! Thank you again for the amazing hospitality!

It was the most beautiful place we`ve ever been. Nicole & Kahiki are pretty pretty cool hosts and give every support you need to have. Their little familiy with Banksy, Daisy and the cats are so cute and handsome, we enjoyed it with them very very much. We are very grateful to met them and their paradies on earth. We had a fabulous time at Kahiki and Nicole’s bungalow in paradise. It was a perfect location with magnificent views from your own private deck. The space had everything we needed and was thoughtfully equipped. They even provided snorkelling and other beach gear to enhance our stay and enjoy the reef life. Amazing variety of fish to see ! Kahiki ,Pascale and family were very generous with their hospitality . We were so pleased to also hear Kahiki play at the local restaurant and bar called Charlie’s just steps away ! Very talented. An amazing find. The bungalow is right on the water. We fell asleep each night to the sounds of waves crashing against the lagoon. Nicole and Kahiki are welcoming hosts who know Rarotonga inside and out. We loved their friendly dogs as well. If we are lucky enough to travel back to the Cook Islands we would be more than happy to stay again!

Nicole and Kahiki’s Beach Bungalow is a wonderful place to stay. It is beautifully decorated and is in such a gorgeous spot. The snorkeling right from the bungalow is incredible. We were especially thrilled to swim with a giant turtle for about 15 minutes. We went to dinner at the Nautilus and listened to Kahiki perform. What a treat! We highly recommend staying here.

Die Unterkunft von Odette und Joe war super! Sie liegt an der hinteren Straße der Insel, in einer wunderschönen Umgebung. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, das Frühstück war sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich und die Gastgeber haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Wir waren wirklich zufrieden und würden es jedem empfehlen.

Joe went out of his way to make sure we were catered for in every way, from airport pickup/drop during late hours, getting us to where we needed to be on the island, providing a fantastic continental breakfast spread and a general helpful attitude during our stay.

Thanks to both Joe and Odette my stay in rarotonga was an absolute treat! They are extremely accommodating and helpful , and put on a lovely breakfast to help fuel your day. The studio is well kept and cosy too. highly reccommend :-)

Our stay at Joe and Odette's little farm was awesome! They're so lovely people and we really enjoyed talking and eating with them. Both gave us a lot of local information and they told us funny stories. We enjoyed fresh "nu's", dragon fruits, paw paws and our favorite - the passion fruits. The breakfast was perfect! The bungalow was perfect for 2. Eventhough it was so hot during our stay we had a very good fan in the bedroom and mosquito nets on all windows. The bungalow is very modern, clean and we had the opportunity to watch some dvd on the tv or take a book from the shelf. We loved all the animals! We would definetly come back and totally recommend this farm!

Jo and Odette are absolutely wonderful hosts. The space we stayed in was beautiful and Odette put on an amazing breakfast. My partner and I felt very fortunate we got to meet this lovely couple.

Loved our stay here. The accommodation is beautiful, and the farm is lovely. Joe and Odette went above and beyond to provide a unique Cook Island experience; with tasty breakfast, great conversations, tips how to get around and what to see and do. We felt like we were able to get the most out of Rarotonga with their help. Also you must go eat at the tea house, it is amazing!!

It's hard to put into words how great this place was. It was so peaceful and serene, you can hear the distant crash of waves, see the sunrise over the palm trees, and be greeted by coconut and fresh fruit for breakfast. Our hosts were so amazing, truly some of the best people we've met and loved spending the morning getting to know them and their helpers. Their knowledge of Rarotonga and helping us get the most of our trip was the best! My wife who was hesitant that it was a farm stay absolutely loved her time there and is already talking of our next trip here! The kids loved helping with the animals and feeding them and walking around the beautiful gardens. You will not regret staying at this place!

Great place to stay!!

Lydia is a wonderful host. She helped to maximize what I was seeking for my holiday experience. We shared many good times together with Mama'a Puna and Ura, and her friends Wendy and Ana. Everyone was soooo nice!! As a solo traveler, for a few more dollars than 'backpackers' accommodation, I got a much nicer place (great bed/bathroom/good location), very warm and entertaining people to socialize with and, a more authentic Maori experience. Lydia, your the best! (P.S. travelers; get used to the morning roosters, they're everywhere)

What an amazing place - a home away from home! Lydia and Mama Puna has made my stay that much more memorable in Rarotonga by being helpful and accommodating. The place is in a good location and has easy access to the beach across the street; it is also near Avarua with plenty of markets and shopping. I can’t wait to come back and stay with Lydia and Mama Puna. Missing you both!

Perfect place for single travellers. Lydia is a great host and very generous. Location is right in the middle of everything, with the beach right in the opposite of the street and close to down town.

Lydia's place was great. She made me feel welcome and at home. I already consider her my family in the Cook Islands. Her home is about a minute walk, or less to the beach and shops are within reasonable distance as well.

I just returned home from a two week stay at Ariana, Kylie and Marshall made me feel right at home. Besides keeping the bungalows spotless, and the grounds well maintained, they are full of tips on where to go and cool things to do. I seriously did not want to leave!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ariana garden bungalows, Kylie and Marshall are very friendly and easy to approach, they are always happy to help with recommendations about activities to do and places to go. Our bungalow was very clean and comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped. Loved the beautiful gardens and the pool. Situated 200m off the main road gives it a peaceful setting, the only noise you hear is the rooster. Because there is no swimming beach nearby it’s best to rent a bicycle or scooter, or take the bus. Being a small island it’s easy to get around even by bike and I prefer to stay off the beaten track and experience the real Rarotonga. Thanks again Kylie and Marshall for a great stay and our outing to the Whatever bar.

Husband & I loved our private bungalow. It was an excellent location to get around the island. It was clean and comfort. The hosts were fantastic and informative. We absolutely loved it. Can't wait to be back

Ariana garden is a lovely location, a short walk from super brown - one of the few 24/7 supermarkets on Raro. It has a picture perfect backdrop, a lovely cool pool to relax in as well as a games room with books, and a mix games. Thanks for the short stay, we wish we booked for longer!

What a great place. Exceptional hosts, value for money and excellent location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the chickens running around. Some with baby chicks. They also enjoyed an afternoon at the pool swapping stories with Kylie and Marshall.

We had a lovely stay with Kylie, and felt very (Email hidden by Airbnb) munication was excellent, and Kylie had suggestions and tips for us throughout our stay. The pool was wonderful, with lounge chairs and an outdoor bbq. We went for a couple hikes, and the bus stops just at the end of the street. The grocery store on the corner had everything we needed for snacks, groceries and packed lunches.

Kylie & Marchall run a beautiful, peaceful, quite part of Cook Island paradise. The self-contained cottages are within short drive of everything but far enough away to be a relaxing retreat. A big bonus was the fresh fruit supplied my the hosts from their own tropical fruit trees – the best passion fruit ever. The great price leaves you a budget for all the other Island activities and you won't find better hosts on Raro.

Lynette’s & Grant’s place is wonderful! They are extremely communicative, very helpful on giving tips on what to do, and have everything you will need. Clean towels. Fresh clean sheets. Nice HOT WATER! (That can be rare) I will strongly recommend staying at Lynette & Grant’s!

We had an amazing stay at Paradise Escape. The location was great, as we had a moped we could zip back and forth to town and Muri beach no problem, but the beach right by the place is perfect too and an excellent spot for snorkeling. Lynette and Grant were great hosts and lovely people, even offering us some local beer and meeting us in town for a drink in our last night. We’ll definitely be back if we return to Rarotonga, we miss Idaho and Big Eyes already! Thanks Lynette and Grant for a lovely stay.

Paradise Escape was awesome! The location is great, I could walk to the beach and in minutes be swimming. Nice size room, but the hosts were what made this place!! Lynette and Grant are a very warm couple who will go above and beyond for their guests! They gave us inside local knowledge and showed is all the good spots. Lynette and Grant were kind and welcoming, and willing to provide what we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It was nice to have a fan in the room and snorkeling gear for use down the road at Aroa beach!

A couple of lovely hosts and a very clean and comfortable room in the middle of Rarotonga. Room was well equipped and very nice to stay in, Lynette and Grant and fun to hang out with and very friendly, shared a drink with us and they also helped us with renting a scooter and gave great tips about the island. Location is within 15 min scooter ride from Muri and 10 min ride from airport, very nice food on the corner of the main and dirt roads. Big thumbs up!

Lynette and Grant were very friendly and generous hosts. They gave me a lovely introduction to life in Rarotonga. The unit was very clean and well laid out...and only a 5 minute walk from the beach!

This was our 4th stay in Rarotonga and this is by far the best accommodation we've had. Perfect for a peaceful, quiet & relaxing holiday. The beach is quiet with good snorkelling and sun all day. There is complete privacy all around the property: it is down a long driveway and the only neighbours are a restaurant, church and the hosts who are friendly, quiet and respectful of privacy. We also loved their sweet dog Wendy who is all too keen to make friends with the guests. A full kitchen allowed us to cook all our meals and enjoy them out on the deck overlooking the beach. Very spacious with lots of cupboard space, shelving and drawers for putting away your belongings, good shower, comfortable bed, mosquito netting on most windows and a washing machine. Absolutely nothing to complain about. We will be back again.

This place is a must see on Raro! It‘s gorgeous views, its exceptional atmosphere and especially the amazing hosts are simply awesome! We joined Philip and Lillibeth for five supercool nights with our two little children - and they literally took care of every single one of our needs. We‘ve been travelling this planet a lot - but Lukuleah Retreat is special in its perfection! The Lagoon, the terrace, the bbq-view, the comfy bed, the well equipped kitchen...we could go on much longer...if you‘re looking for a paradise-like island retreat with great hosts - look no further!

We are regular visitors to Rarotonga and this was our first time staying at Lukuleah Retreat. The accommodation was just as it is described and the photos are very accurate. It is a great unit for a couple and very spacious. Philip and Lilibeth were very welcoming and helpful whenever needed. Having pets of our own we loved meeting their puppy Ana who has a lovely nature. The unit is next door to the Waterline Restaurant and close to other restaurants and bars. You don't have to walk far. It is fully self contained with a bbq on the deck so you don't need to eat out all the time. Philip and Lilibeth live behind the unit but aren't intrusive but if you need anything they are happy to help. Great value and right on the beach. We will definitely be back. Thanks for having us. :)

Exactly as it said on the tin! Great location - very uncrowded position yet within easy reach of shops and restaurants . One of the best restaurants on Rarotonga is next door on the beach but you would never have known if you judged by disruption to the peaceful ambience of Lukeuleah - may have occasionally seen somebody arriving for dinner along the beach or a few refrains from the piano or the guitar but that was it. Philip and Lillibet were outstanding hosts and we have no hesitation in recommending them.

We loved our short relaxing stay at Lukuleah Retreat. We found the accomodation exactly as described here; just some palmtrees have to be passed to get from the appartment to the nearly private beach, about 20 meters away. From time to time someones passes by, having a walk along the beach or visiting the wonderful little restaurant next door. Apart from that, the beach was ours and we enjoyed sunbathing, snorkeling or simply relaxing below the palm trees. You can take a bath in the sandy parts of the warm laguna, while swimming is hardly possible as the water is shallow and there are corals everywhere, but this is true for all Rarotonga. Don't forget your snorkeling gear - you can start watching amazing colorful fish, underwater plants and other laguna life directly in front of you. The appartment offers plenty of space, everything you need (including barbecue and washing mashine) and a wunderful veranda for sunny and rainy days. Apart from the facts, the hosts Lilibeth and Philipp as well as their lovely family dog Wendy are super nice and cared about everything we needed. They organized taxi pickup from and to the airport, booked restaurants, gave us tips along the island and we had wonderful talks with them. We all enjoyed our stay at Lukuleah and friendly recommend it to anybody searching for a quiet and friendly space away from touristic Muri.

Great accomodations right on the beach. Clean and spacious for a family of 3. Hosts are really helpful and friendly while also respecting your privacy and providing a relaxing vacation spot. Made us and our daughter feel welcome to the island and had lots of tips for what to do and share some local knowledge. Close to bus and a few little stores to pick up basics within walking distance. Snorkelling at beach was great at high tide.

Lukuleah is in a great area, set off the road it's private and quiet, and there is a perfect swimming beach right out front where you get beautiful sunsets every night. We had a lovely restful holiday here and made great use of the well equiped kitchen and BBQ. Philip and Lilibeth are wonderful hosts, they are always available if you need anything. We will be back for sure!

I recommend Kihana‘s Hideway. It‘s a very cozy apartment with a very nice view from the balcony. From there you can enjoy your breakfast or your dinner with an ocean view! The apartment is as described and it looks like in the pictures. Glenn and Mona are very friendly, helpful and were happy to give me any advice concerning the island. Meitaki ma‘ata!

Glenn was a great host! He picked us up from the airport in the early hours of the morning. Good location and nice modern place to stay at an affordable price! Would highly recommend!

Glenn ist ein netter Gastgeber. Er hat uns vom und zum Flughafen geführt, ist mit uns die anfliegenden Jets anschauen gegangen und hat uns eine frische Papaya gebracht. Das Apartment ist gut eingerichtet. Leider hat das Mobiliar unter dem feuchten Klima aber ziemlich gelitten. Es riecht alles sehr feucht, das Bad war ziemlich schmutzig und auf Krabbeltiere muss man auch gefasst sein. Wer aber unkompliziert ist, eine eigene Küche und tolle Terrasse schätzt ist hier richtig. Mit einem Motorrad ist man schnell bei jedem möglichen Strand und Restaurant.

Everything was great - but we especially loved the deck (sunset views!) with the gas grill, the comfortable bed, and the friendly kitty who occasionally came to visit! We really appreciated Glenn picking us up and taking us to the airport and the late check-out he was able to provide for us. Wonderful place on Raro!

Mona picked us up at the airport very early and took us to the supermarket.. so great availability and courtesy! Place is surrounded by a beautiful garden and some local cute animals. Kitchen is fully equipped for you to prepare breakfast or lunch/dinner. A nice washing machine is available as well. We are very satisfied

Glenn's place was great- They have built a cut little house off their main house which we stayed in. Had everything we needed, Glenn picked us up from the airport and helped us get a scooter the next day. Much nicer than staying at the resorts! Cheers!

Dividimos nuestra estancia en Islas Cook entre Rarotonga y Aitutaki. Elegimos Nirvana Bungalow para alojarnos en Rarotonga. Kristina nos organizo el traslado del aeropuerto al bungalow lo que fue muy cómodo para nosotros. Esta bien ubicado cerca de un supermercado y gasolinera, a 5 min de la playa y a 5km de Muri. Fue un detalle dejarnos aceite, sal, jabón de platos y algunas cosas que se agradecen mucho cuando llegas. Lo negativo: Cuando llegamos nos sorprendimos por el estado del bungalow ya que el exterior no estaba muy cuidado ni pintado de colores como en las fotos; las ventanas no tienen cristales y la consecuencia era que hacia frío por las noches , había muchas corrientes y se oían todos los animales (perros, pájaros y demás) lo que no dejaba dormir muy bien y los gallos cada mañana a las 6am te despertaban; gotera en terraza y muchas hormigas. Por último, comentar que no conocimos a Kristina, nos dijo que nos dejaba las llaves en la puerta y que vendría a saludarnos otro día pero no fue así. Fue un poco extraño para nosotros que no nos recibiera ni explicará nada...

Nirvana Bungalow was perfect for our stay, very clean & well equipped. We loved the peace & quiet of being away from the main road yet only a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Plenty to do nearby with amazing snorkelling, X island walk, wigmores waterfall, supermarket etc & only a short drive to Muri beach. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet peaceful spot.

Staying at Nirvana Bungalow was the icing on a beautiful trip to Rarotonga. Not only was the place relaxing, close to the beach and some of the most amazing scenery I have seen; it is also located on the quieter side of the island making it the perfect spot for optimal relaxation, unwinding and escaping from the hustle and bustle of wherever you are coming from. Kristina and her family are so warm and friendly, they made me feel right at home. Thank you so much for everything Kristina, I really appreciate it.

Nirvana is close to some of the island's best beaches for swimming and snorkelling. We really liked the location. There are not many options for eating out within walking distance, so a scooter, car or bike is a must, especially on weekends when the bus service is limited. The nearby Wigmores store is very well stocked and we enjoyed eating on the beach at Vaima's restaurant. The bungalow is simple but comfortable, neat and clean, and the courtyard is very nice and private. There are a lot of roosters in the area, and geckos inside so bring earplugs! The bungalow could be better equipped for cooler weather. We had some issues with water temperature, and the bed only had a light cover, so we had some chilly nights. We didn't meet Kristina during our 11 day stay, and communication was difficult at times as we had to find wifi hotspots to make contact and replies were sometimes slow.

Kristina's place was absolutely perfect. My partner and myself stayed for 4 nights , for our second holiday trip on the island. The place is well located, across the road to the beach, 20min cycling to Muri but only few min from the best snorkelling spot of the island. Few restaurants are around and within 5-10min by car (30min walk is Charlie's Cafe). The house itself was thoughtfully made by Mark (inspirations from around the world's architectures), spotless clean, well furnished and had all the necessaries. Is also provided a TV with few movies on a hard drive. It has a closed little outdoor space to leave bikes or surfs outside. Kristina and Mark were welcoming, kind, friendly and ready to help. We recommend the place for couples who are looking for a clean space and don't mind being slightly away from Muri / restaurants etc... For experienced surfers, the Avaavaroa passage is just in front of the house ! Pretty much every local did not recommend as the strong current channeling in the passage post mid-tide makes it challenging to paddle back to the shore + extremely shallow (almost dry reef at the end of the wave)... but is was safe and worked great at low tide with 1.5-2m SSE swell and no wind.

A lovely clean and tidy place. We loved the outdoor area. There were plenty of fans for when it got hot. The fridge was a great size for taking advantage of the fresh fruit and vegetables. All in all a lovely stay.

Fabulous little Bungalow on the most beautiful side of the island. Owners just next door if you need anything (like when I got locked out!!), but otherwise you won't hear from them at all. Fully equipped, even coffee and essentials in the fridge for your use! Our favorite part was the hard drive full of movies and documentaries to keep us occupied on the odd rainy day. The value for money was amazing, and we'd come back in an instant! Many thanks x

The highlight of Emm's place is the covered porch facing the lagoon, and the cool breezes. Comfortable bed. Very nice to have a washer. Ura, the property manager was very welcoming and accommodating. She brought us papayas, gave us a lift to the Christian church on Sunday to hear the singing, and accommodated early check in and late check out. Offered great suggestions of local offerings. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking your own meals. Muri beach is an ideal location if you do not have a car, since you have everything you need within the approximate 1 km length of muri beach: night market, restaurants, small grocers, water sports, coffee, etc. Island bus picks up once an hour. Cottage is very private. Thanks Emm & Ura

This was a perfect spot in the middle of paradise - beach on the doorstep, shops and food close by. We couldn't have asked for more!

Emm's place was fantastic! It is located on Muri Beach, where it is absolutely beautiful. So much things to do at this beach. You can rent kayaks or paddle boards or you can go on a lagoon tour all located right on the beach. You are in walking distance to everything from eateries to a little store. Scooter and car rentals are just down the street. I'd highly recommend renting a scooter to get around the island, it's a great way to see and explore. I loved the Cook Islands. Would definitely come back here again.

Emm’s beach bungalow was (Website hidden by Airbnb) had everything we needed in the most perfect location on Muri Beach! It was very private, yet close to shops, food, & activities! The views are spectacular directly from the deck & the beach just footsteps away! We highly recommend this beach house for anyone looking to both relax & have fun!

We felt at home from the moment we arrived at Emm’s place. The directions we had made everything very smooth and Ura was lovely, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. This is an absolutely fantastic location. There was a constant steady breeze keeping us comfortable anytime we relaxed on the porch looking out at the spectacular view. It’s within walking distance of most necessities and there is a scooter hire minutes away as well. Scooters are inexpensive to rent and to run and are the best way to get around. Everything else on the island was amazing. Scuba diving with Pacific Divers on the reef and shipwrecks with 30-40m visibility. There’s an abundance of marine life. We found plenty of tropical fish, moray eels and even a little sea snake while snorkeling in the lagoon right in front of the house. Game fishing was excellent and we caught yellowfin tuna, wahoo and barracuda (not great for eating in some places but here the barracuda was surprisingly good on the bbq). Everyone on the island was very friendly and welcoming and we really did not want to leave. We will be back without doubt and highly recommend Reihana to singles or couples.

If you want place that has Muri beach within footsteps from a beautiful veranda (and view), then Emm’s place. We were within walking distance of the night market but yet far enough away from all the touristic chaos. The home is spacious and has everything you need to relax and get into island time. Outstanding location literally 10 metres from the waters edge where you can jump in and snorkel out to the islands. Really quiet part of Muri Beach yet only 2 min walk to shops and bars etc. House has everything you need including wash machine and all the cooking utensils you would need. Lots to do within close proximity or simply sit on the deck and watch the world go by. Our 4 year old loved playing with all the chickens, hermit crabs and dogs. Definitely go for a snorkel at Fruits of Raro which is a short drive. Would recommend a hire car so you can cruise around and check out everything the island has to offer. Can get a little warm inside so keep all the windows open.

Perfect place to stay on Raro! Private pool, fruit from the trees in the garden, loads of food in the fridge for breakfast, away from the main road. It can be windy in raro in winter but Sam and Talei's place is perfectly sheltered with still loads of sun so we enjoyed the lovely pool even on windy days. This place is better than a five star hotel, you have everything you need and Sam and Talei are the best hosts. They have thought of everything so you just need to show up. Breakfast, snorkels, filtered water, bicycles, laundry facilities with washing powder...They live in the house next door if you need them but the studio still feels very private. It is also big for a studio. I would recommend hiring a scooter or car to make the most of the island. Hire company was a short walk from Sam and Talei's place. If we make it back to Raro we will stay here for sure. Thanks again Sam and Talei :)

Paradise on earth. Our trip to Rarotonga was wonderful in all aspects. The Inave Oasis is aptly named, a little bit of private paradise in the middle of the greater paradise that is Raro. Sam and Talei are simply wonderful people. If I could give the oasis 6 stars, I would.

I highly recommend staying at the Inave Oasis! You won’t regret it. Trust me when I say that everything was amazing... bed, pillows, bikes and the pool.... the list could go on and on. We had such a great time and the only bad thing was leaving. They were both great hosts, quick to respond and ready to help in any way. It was a dream and we can’t wait to come back!

Talei and Sam were the most amazing hosts and completely made my trip to Raro. Their place is lovely. Clean, modern and private and the plunge pool is the best! It had everything we needed, plus had a shop at the bottom of the street which was open until 10pm, 3 beach bar/restaurants within very short walking distance, great breaky/coffee spot within walking distance and the best fish and chips on the island also 5 mins down the road. We stayed at a couple of quite expensive villas/resorts while we were in Raro aswell and my only regret was that we didn't stay at Inave Oasis the whole trip! It was so way nicer, way better priced and the hosts were the best! Couldnt fault anything x

Very clean and modern unit with so much offered (food including fresh fruit, snorkel, bikes, speakers etc etc). Very friendly people who went above and beyond for me. Just beware that the unit is not on the road signposted Inave road, its one street over to the right.

This spot is amazing!! So relaxing and beautiful. Sam and talei were so kind and their hospitality went above and beyond. We loved it here!!

The bedroom was excellent and spotless when we got there. The location is brilliant and the indication they gave us was really easy so we could check-in. Really nice people to talk with. We had some fresh water, fruit, vegetables and stuff for breakfast that i thought it was a really nice gesture from them. For the price that you are paying with them its great value what you get. So i wouldn't recommend them a 100%, it would be a 110% for sure.

Lovely one bed apartment with breakfast cereals and fruits included. Location was good for the town but not near a swimming beach. Did not have much contact with the host but this was not needed. Drove us to the bus stop when we left which was very kind.

A wonderful private place with a good Wi-Fi hot-spot, a big fan in tand a big comfortable bed; very clean, spacious, 2min by walk close to the bus stop, to the petrol station and to 24h shop. In the same building of Mariana, you could meet her and her family; nice people that if you need can help and suggest you for all the things to do in Cook Islands. Next time in Rarotonga I'll return in this house FOR SURE. Thank you, a big hug from Italy

The garden studio is an awesome place to stay at Rarotonga. Plenty of room for 2 people and everything's really clean. Mariana is a lovely woman and helped us a lot with her advises on what to do around the island. I would definitley stay there again.

It wasn’t until I had arrived but Raro did I realise that I had made the biggest rookie mistake : book my accommodation for the day after my arrival, therefore leaving me “homesless” for the night but luckily Mariana had prepared my room a day earlier in preparation for this kind of mistake! Raita was fast to respond and was very helpful and easy to talk to and Mariana, like every grandmother, was just the sweetest! A beautiful home and a fantastic studio, I definitely got great value for my money! Definitely coming back for another visit to Raro and I already know where I’ll be staying!

Had the best stay here. We felt at home here. Our son ran around with the chickens. Evita brought him some toys as well as a USB stick with movies which were all really appreciated. Beautiful view which also catches a nice breeze. Well equipped with home essentials. If we needed anything we just asked. We made friends with the neighbours who also looked after us and welcomed us into their home. Located on the quieter side of the island with beautiful beaches within walking distance. Overall a great stay, highly recommend. Thank you

THE place to stay ! We had such a great time in this cosy house nestled on the hill. The 24/7 supermarket is 5mn walk away, the bus 2mn, the beach 2mn... you have everything you need in and out the house, at an amazing price.. Josephine, the loveliest host in the pacific, was here all along our stay, and provided everything we need. And at last but not a least : WHAT A VIEW ON THE LAGOON ! We’ll definitely come back here one day :)

Really beautiful place in quiet area. House is new and has all the facilities you need. Perfect for a family! The best security dog called Spike who patrols regularly. Also no need to set the alarm, trained roosters outside for that! Kitchen with all you need, awesome bathroom with lots of little extras! Also milk and water in fridge. BBQ on veranda! We are so thankful for all the help with airport pick up (cheap) and quick email response about all and nothing! We recommend all guest to stay here, and also be aware of the time difference when you make your bookings! We managed to check in before we were supposed to... Beautiful home! Great view and suprisingly affordable. Had everything we needed. Comfy bed and nice breeze from the bedroom on a hot night, just beautiful. Used the bbq and was really relaxing. Our kids were playing outside and sitting on the porch watching them was really nice. We played a few games that were there and we enjoyed it very much. Loved watching the chickens and roosters on the lawns was quite entertaining. Close to the shops and beach. Thank you for having us.

Noel & Katrina’s home is sooo beautiful, spotlessly clean and very spacious. FREE airport transfers is a must in Raro as there’s no house number or street sign. It’s only 5 minutes walk to the beach. Noel & Katrina are gracious, accomodating and very caring in so many ways- Noel picked us up at 1AM with fresh,fragrant leis, it’s around 15 min drive from airport to their place; as soon as we arrived Noel said “ welcome to your home”- which made us really feel welcomed. The room is exactly the same in the photos if not better, the sliding door opens to our own litte porch, the room is overlooking the trees- very relaxing sight to wake up to; we even have sparkling wine with a welcome & birthday card for my husband- very thoughtful of Noel & Katrina. We were provided with 2 bath towels & 1 beach towel +facecloth for each of us & a Dove soap. Noel always made sure we fill up our bottles with filtered water; contacted our tours for confirmation of time then takes us there & picks us up after- with NO additional charge; helped us in arranging our car rental etc. Katrina is very kind to fold our dried clothes & empties our rubbish everday. We love our dinners & conversations with them and the green pawpaw salad with prawns Katrina especially made for us. It’s our first time to try airbnb and we are ABSOLUTELY pleased! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED accomodation & hosts !!! A 5 star rating!!! Would definitely like to come back!

Ingrid is a very friendly and helpful lady, who helped me a lot, gave me advices how to travel in the Rarotonga. Ingrid also picked me up when I have arrived in Rarotonga. Her home is a lovely place and I enjoyed a short stay. Ingrid is an excellent host and I had a great time chatting with her. Location was close to downtown and the airport. Ingrid is friendly and helpful, but the place was very musty and old style.

Ingrid met me at the airport as I arrived quite late. She greeted me with a beautiful Ei flower necklace. She took me a quick spin round town and pointed out the main areas. Accommodation was perfect for my overnight stay, as I was catching a flight to Aitutaki the next morning. For a small fee Ingrid does airport transfers, this is great especially flight arrive late at night.

This is a fantastic air BNB with lovely helpful hosts. Any questions/queries will be answered and they happily showed us around. The facilities are basic but fantastic value for money!

Enjoyed my stay. Arrived late at night and only spent one evening, but when I arrived everything I needed was ready. Communication was excellent and transport from airport was made a lot easier by Ingrid.

We did not meet with Ingrid as we arrived at 1am. The studio was really clean and the room was really okay! The walls are really thin and we could hear our neighbours and the roosters in the middle of the night! It was okay for a night as the price was really cheap for the night.

Not a bad place to stay for an overnighter. It has all the amenities you need, one downside is the sheets did not seem to be clean

Ingrid' place is the authentic Rarotonga with a great garden set in spacious grounds. Pleasant walk to town and great value.

Kia Orana, Kricks studio is in a nice location next to the sea. The studio is well equipped and provides the guests with everything you could possibly need. The communication with our hosts was very fast and easy and we got a lot of tips and advice for our stay, which made the whole experience on Rarotonga even more enjoyable. Therefore, we can definitely recommend the studio and its host to other potential guests.

Nice, clean and very quite place. Enjoy the sound of waves breaking on the shore as you sleep. :) The beach, even though close, is not for swimming. If you are a morning jogger you'll enjoy it quite much. Since it is a bit far from any restaurant or shop, I recommend it for the people that plan to spend most of the day out otherwise you'll be quite bored as there is no TV. Also, WiFi is not available (Blue Sky)

This little studio is perfect for couples who want privacy. It's a great location and the sunrises are worth getting up for! Greg is a fabulous host and we plan to come back!

Wunderschönes kleines Apartment, ein privater und ruhiger Rückzugsort mitten im Paradies. Alle waren überaus gastfreundlich und hilfsbereit, es fehlte an nichts. Die Lage ist super, direkt am Ozean, abends schläft man zum Klang der Wellen ein und in 5 Minuten ist man in Muri, einem der Hauptorte Rarotongas. Durfte am Tag meiner Abreise sogar die ganze Zeit in der Unkerkunft bleiben, obwohl mein Rückflug erst um 23:00 Uhr ging. Alles in allem kann ich die Unterkunft nur empfehlen!

Kricks place is nice and secluded with a beautiful wild beach right in front of it. To er around the island and any bigger shops (close one nearby) you will need a car or scooter - cars are easiest to hire right at the airport when you arrive at Avis as they also include a free drop off at the airport when you leave. Krick and Greg are very nice hosts.

We had an amazing stay at Ariana Bungalows. Kylie and Marshall were so friendly and approachable, and gave us great advice about how to have the best experience while visiting Rarotonga. Our bungalow room was simple with a well equipped kitchen and separate living area. The surrounding grounds, pool and garden were beautiful and spotless. We loved the fruit from the garden. We loved staying here, and were sad to leave. Thank you for helping us to have an amazing holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ariana Bungalow. It became our little home away from home. We did a lot of cooking at the Bungalow which was great as they had all the utensils and plates that we would need. They also have an outdoor BBQ that you can use! The hosts were so kind and accommodating and made sure we were taken care of. The pool is also amazing and we loved the views of the mountains. I think our highlight from staying here was the fresh fruit. We enjoyed delicious papaya, passion fruit, coconut, avocado, bananas, and soursop during our stay. It was complimentary, right off of the tree, and so delicious! It is very helpful to have a car or scooter if you are staying here, but really for anywhere on the Island and the bus is expensive and not super convenient. You can hear the waves from Ariana Bungalow crashing against the reef, but there isn't any beach access nearby. So you will have to drive to the nearest beach. That was not a problem for us and we certainly enjoyed driving around the Island. The only thing we can think of was that you can feel the springs in the beds, but we are young so it didn't bother us much. Just an FYI in case that type of stuff bothers you or you have a bad back. But we would come back to stay at Ariana Bungalow in a heartbeat. It is the best price, location, and experience on the Island. You will enjoy your time here as well I am sure!

We spent two weeks at Ariana Bungallows and really liked quiet atmosphere of a well maintained property. No noisy restaurants or neighbours around provided us with the choice, we could get there (the noise) within 5-10 minutes drive. Walking distance to grocery store was really important before we rented a car. Marshall and Kylie are always available when you need them, friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend this host.

Perfect location!! Best snorkelling beach, beautiful sunsets, gorgeous mountain views are all at your doorstep. The unit itself was great. It had everything we needed (beach towels and snorkelling equipment were much appreciated) to make our stay enjoyable. Lynette and Grant were great hosts. Full of tips and local info. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a wonderful stay at Paradise Escape. Definitely recommend.

Lynette was a great host. Room was very clean and tidy. 5 minute walk to beach across the road-which was stunning to walk across the road every morning. They provide free snorkel gear to guests too which is massive here as costs of hiring shoes and snorkel gear can get quite expensive. Would highly recommend this place to further guests. We snorkelled everyday with the gear provided which saved us havjng to hire or bring our own. Our accommodation was comfortable and clean and we appreciated the smaller touches including plenty of towels being available. All in all, it was great and we hope to be back soon x

The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The bedrooms were laid out well. The house is a 2 minute walk from the beach and the kayak was a bonus! Snorkeling out front was some of the best we found. We truly loved our week there and highly recommend!

Teres Residence was an excellent home for our adult family (three double rooms but also has a fourth set up for children) holiday to Rarotonga. A modern well equiped house in at Titikaveka. Close to a fine beach, about 4km from Muri and a location a little away from the busier areas. All communication with Jenna and George very straight forward. Thanks for a house that enabled us to have a great holiday.

Excellent location just a short walk from the beach up a quiet side road. The house was clean and tidy and perfect for our group with everything we needed for a fun and relaxing holiday. Jenna and George were fantastic hosts, quick to reply, and providing easy to follow instructions. A perfect spot for a Raro getaway!

Highly recommend staying at Teres Residence. Great location with excellent access to an unspoiled private beach (1-2 minutes walk). Great that it wasn’t on the main road too - it made it very quiet and was more private than the places on the beach &/or main road. George and Jenna were also very helpful and accommodating hosts with lots of local tips they were happy to share. Very well equipped kitchen. Loved the outdoor showers (one accessed from outside the other from the ensuite bathroom). Lots of space for larger families. Kids loved being able to watch ESPN. Towels, snorkeling gear and a kayak available for guests to use. A cot, toys for little kids. A study desk for our 16 year old who had lots of homework to do. Great decks front and back of the house. Tips for Rarotonga - lots of good snorkeling locations close by to Teres Residence. Good food and SUP hire at Charlie’s (just up the road). Try Palace Burgers and Villie’s if you like burgers. Try the Muri night market for some yummy local foods. The island is 32km round trip in a car - hire one if you can. It gives you great flexibility. Best snorkeling we found was approx 100m west of the Fruits of Rarotonga shop (just up from Charlie’s). Hundreds and hundreds of fish in one concentrated area. Just gorgeous. If you are looking for somewhere to go to relax, unwind and spend quality time together with family and/or friends definitely check out Rarotonga and Teres Residence.

Had an amazing (Email hidden by Airbnb) munication and hospitality was great. Prefect location and home set up for the size group we had. The outdoor showers were an added bonus aswell as the filtered water from the fridge. Topped off our experience in Rarotonga with a bang. Thanks for the hospitality:)

Jenna and Georges house was practically brand new and incredibly good value for money. It was about 50m from a really beautiful kid friendly beach which we used every day. The space was big and clean and was really user friendly for us and our two kids. Sometimes if felt pretty hot (as there are no fans or AC in the living room) but Jenna was super accommodating and got us an extra fan which helped heaps. Both Jenna and George were always a phone call away and were always so lovely to chat to. They gave great advice regarding places to visit, restaurants to go to etc. The entire experience was WAY better than staying in a a hotel and we would DEFINITELY love to return one day. Thank you guys for making our very first Cook Island experience so wonderful :)

We absolutely loved our stay in Rarotonga! The house was just as discribed. A nice clean home close to a beautiful Muri beach. We can't wait to come back again.

We arrived to a warm welcome and made ourselves at home at the Mango Cottage. It is what most would say "basic" - very tidy and has the basic amenities. It is a good distance to Muri so you would pay to get a car from the airport- the shuttle was a waste of money. The plunge pool is deep but small and really just to cool off in the afternoon. Mango Cottage was a good place to relax but you do not feel pampered like you might at another place or resort. It is clean and has all that you need for a DIY holiday. Thank you Tony for the stay.

Good little place for a family or group traveling together. Would recommend getting a car or scooter to get around as it's a bit of a walk to the nearest shops at Muri. No A/C so can get very hot, but there are fans. Overall nice place to stay. The only downside is the location being a bit away from everything.

Nice straight forward clean and tidy place in a great location with great hosts. Great value for money, the pool is Perfect for a dip and has good shade over it. Get a car from mechanic over the road and supplies from shop just along the road and enjoy being treated like a local. short walk to muri ( eat at the mooring on the way past) makes this a perfect spot. The hosts are superb, very helpful. An all round great place, enjoy we did

The stay was great! Greeted us as we arrived despite our late arrival in the middle of the night, appreciated that. We highly recommend this air bnb - its amidst the locals & close to 24hr petrol n groceries food,airport,Nikao beach. The Studio itself was nice with a with large shower, comfy bed, and all the amenities we needed for our stay. Friendly landlord Itinga who was very helpful and hospitable. Our stay was wonderful in Te Ravaki North Studio. Such a great first impression of Cook Islands. Itinga and her family was so nice to us. The studio is beautiful, comfy bed, the bathroom is gorgeous. We would definently recommend this place, and if we are so lucky to come back to Cook Island, we would to stay here again.

Lovely little unit for 2. Virtually brand new. Itinga is a lovely host; like all Cook Islanders. Shower temperature is fully adjustable on the outside wall.

We had a wonderful stay in this great holiday house. It's a generous size and the beautiful lagoon views were lovely to wake up to each morning. The house had everything we needed and Eddie was very friendly and helpful. An easy walk to the shops of Muri and the next door neighbour organises night paddle boarding in case you fancy an interesting activity.

Budget accommodation, nothing fancy but has everything you'd need. Water ran out at one stage but Eddie had it sorted in a few hours which was awesome. The deck was definitely the best part, cool and shaded. Arrival book said there was a safe but after searching the entire house we couldn't find it. Quiet at night time and a short drive to lots of good swimming spots. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper as the roosters are non stop all day and night!

We had such an amazing time, the location was great in the middle between muri beach and the islands main town center. Desmond and Tracy were amazing hosts and went above and beyond when we had flight issues. The house was very spacious with a washing machine and dryer, very useful for outdoor activities. We had all the privacy we wanted while knowing they were there for anything we needed. Tracy's tips for what to do also made our holiday much more enjoyable. We did every one. would recommend for couples and families alike.

I would definitely recommend this comfortable house. Desmond and his wife are nice and helpful hosts. His wife also speaks Chinese, which is a big surprise for us. The location is 5 mins drive or ride to the center, and 10-15 mins to Muri Beach, good for those who have driver's license and plan to rent a motorcycle. Rentals are available across the street. The house is large and comfortable, professionally cleaned. It also has enough kitchen items and some liquors which allows you to prepare for nice meals or drinks, which cuts cost on the island (and kill your evening time as well). Thanks a lot!

This property is beautiful inside and out! It is spotless with modern fixtures and amenities. Including everything you need for the comforts of home. Very spacious living areas and great size bedrooms. The outdoor deck is simply amazing with a gorgeous view of the main road. It is sheltered but also has areas out in the sun for you to tan hehe The hosts are beautiful friendly people who go above and beyond to make sure your stay is as enjoyable as it can be. They even made space for us to use while we were waiting for our late night flight and went out of their way to drop us off at the airport. I was truly overehelmed with their generosity and kindness. I highly recommend this house and the host and his family. I will be recommending him to my friends and family and would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to the island if the property is available.

If you're after modern accommodation, close to town (and Muri) and great hosts, look no further than Nevaeh Home. Desmond and his sister Nina were the perfect hosts. They waited patiently at the airport as my wife and I, our 3 young adult children (plus one extra) slowly exited the airport. Giving us our space is essentially how they were during our visit but still a phone call away at a moments notice. The property is perfectly situated on the main road 5 mins from town and 10mins from Muri. This house with modern decor has everything you need inside and more outside if you want to entertain. It is literally a home away from home. If you open up the windows a breeze always flows through the house. Add to that the ceiling fans and who needs aircon. Desmond also offered the use of his car at a very reasonable rate which turned out to be extremely useful as no cars were available on the island during our stay. Only scooters. I've can't rave enough about this place. You won't go wrong here.

Paradise with modern amenities and luxury within paradise. great stay

We loved our stay, such a beautiful home with a lovely decking area. The outside couch was comfortable and perfect for an afternoon snooze. We will be back, amazing hosts that were extremely responsive both leading up to our stay and while we were there. Loved the fresh fruit that was left in the fridge for us to enjoy on arrival. Would highly recommend staying here on your trip to paradise.

A+ property with all the comforts of home. Family friendly and huge open space to stretch out in and relax. Very good location and very close to all of the islands attractions. Desmond, Nina & co are great hosts and make your stay very easy. My family and I would highly recommend holidaying at this quality property and we are looking forward to our return.

Perfect location in Muri! Apartment was very clean and modern and had everything you need. Super close to night markets, beach, cafes. Would stay here again.

Excellent location, just a few steps from Muri beach and lagoon. The house is nicely set up, with everything you need. Beautiful banana trees behind the property rounded it out nicely. Sian's friend came and checked if everything was ok, otherwise we were left to relax in the beautiful Cook Islands weather. It might be worth noting that anywhere you stay in the Cook Islands, there will be wild chickens making noise in the early morning. It didn't bother us, but light sleepers might want to pack their ear plugs.

This was a very cosy and clean studio with many homely touches that were much appreciated-eg a laundry on-site and an iron. Although it is on "air bread and breakfast" there was no breakfast supplied. We should have checked first, but no matter as there are fantastic venues within walking distance. Indeed,everything at Muri Beach is handy. Not exactly a 'hideaway" though, as adjacent to the coastal road, but still quiet. Veena at the office across the road was extemely helpful- "thank-you".RECOMMENDED.

We stayed in this Studio while visiting Rarotonga for a wedding which was in the Nautilus. It's in a great location, across the road from the beach and near several cafes & shops. The Studio was clean and modern. We loved being able to have all the windows open with the flyscreens keeping all the bugs out! Sian & Tracey are lovely to deal with and made the whole experience very easy. Its a bonus to be able to use the Laundry facilities too.

Cute, private and quiet little one bedroom unit perfect for a Rarotonga holiday. Has everything you will need and its an easy walk to the beach, resorts, cafes and shops. Practically next door to LBV for your morning coffee and pastries!

Awesome location just across the road from Muri Beach (which we decided was the best spot in Raro to be based), this lovely unit with nice quiet surroundings was the perfect spot for a relaxed escape when my girlfriend and I visited. Has all the amenities you need and a great host who facilitated our transfers for us, so all was sorted even though we arrived in the middle of the night! Cheers

Sian was very accommodating and welcoming throughout our stay and and during our booking - as there were a few changes that never seemed a problem. She was also easily contactable and helped answer all of our questions promptly. The accommodation has everything you need and is in a lovely spot on the island. My friend and I recommend this stay to anyone who's on a budget, is after a good off beach location and is after simple and easy accommodation. Thanks again for a great stay!

Hand’s down, the best Airbnb we have ever been to! Siai was amazing right from the start when she offered to pick us up from the airport at midnight. She gave us some great tips for our stay and even let us know about the amazing beach that was 2 minutes down the road from her place, words can’t describe how beautiful that beach was, perfect for snorkelling too! Our Airbnb was beyond perfect, comfy bed, lots of fresh fruit, a kitchen with literally everything you need to make a meal, peaceful surroundings, plenty of towels, bags to use, washing machine, I could honestly go on all day. The Airbnb is such a bargain for everything you get, I can’t recommend it enough! Forget all the fancy hotels, this Airbnb is where it’s at!!
