  • We enjoyed our stay in Lance's unique home, especially the spectacular views. Lance welcomed us warmly and gave us a tour, explaining the history of his home. It served as a great base for exploring Portland.

  • Lance and his cat Bukowski were great hosts and very accommodating. He gave us a house tour and recommendations on bars/restaurants nearby. Downtown was a quick UBER ride away and I also walked to the hiking trails from the treehouse. Enjoyed the views and the bedroom area was large and had a nice seating area next to it with Portland restaurant magazines.

  • Lance was very accommodating and helpful! The house was amazing, and the guest suite had the most incredible view of Portland!

  • Lance's house is an architectural delight. The views are amazing and the location is close to downtown. Lance is welcoming and takes pride in his house

  • The treehouse is a very unique place to stay, and has great views of downtown Portland. Lance is a very nice host and communicates well.

  • Couldn't have picked a better place to stay! Got in late but was greeted warmly by Lance, and I totally enjoyed watching the city lights below and chatting over a glass of wine. Room was super clean and comfortable, and waking up to the amazing view was magical. Fresh French- pressed morning coffee was perfect! Plenty of privacy, too. Don't miss the opportunity to stay with Lance in this architectural wonder!

    Carole2015-11-18T00:00:00Z
  • Lance was a great host, everything was clean and well prepared. The tree house is as awesome as you imagine. Cool vibes and great views. Remember to take your shoes off!

    Derek2015-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • The place was a gem. It is located on the hills above the city, and you get an unobstructed view all the way to my. Helena and Hood. To be clear to those who rent, the rental is for the entire downstairs area and Lance lives on the second level. Lance was great about communicating and gave us our space to enjoy our stay. He also made coffee for us in the morning and made us feel very welcome! Would definitely recommend.

Unique hand built cob cottage next to lg. pond w water feature. Lg. fenced and gated yard. Gentle, curving space-made from sand, straw, water and earth . Featured in multiple international publications. The floor is also earthen clay with added radiant heat. Beautiful natural light. It's truly a magical place.
It's a curvilinear earthen structure hand sculpted from water, sand, straw, and clay earth. It features a radial roof with a central pagoda-like skylight. When building the Cob, we used reclaimed and natural materials when ever possible. The insulation in the ceiling is made from pulverized reclaimed blue jeans and the floor is made from the same earthen clay. It has a Dutch door, so you can open the top part for additional ventilation. It also has air conditioning available in the warmer months and a radiant heat floor. The bed is a very comfortable double with a memory foam mattress topper. The bathroom for the cottage is in the main house, about 40 steps to the back door. Inside you’ll find a large sitting room and full kitchen as well as your bath with claw foot tub and shower. These spaces are shared with 2 Airbnb rooms in the house. If you find the bath busy, our full bath is available upstairs on the second floor.
We are located in a sweet older neighborhood in inner SE Portland, built around the turn of the century. The neighborhood is extremely walkable/bikeable, and just two blocks from one of Portland's great restaurant rows, filled with unique locally owned restaurants, coffeehouses, bars, food carts, pot shops, ice cream vendors, pizza joints, clothing retailers, yoga studios and yes, even an old-school hardware store.
  • Enchanting cottage close to restaurants, shopping and bus. Great hosts and their cats!

  • Very cool little place that is super close to restaurants and public transportation. Such a safe and happy neighborhood, very charming!

    Marla2016-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • It was the perfect sweet romantic get-away for my girlfriend and I, we flew in just for one night and we were welcomed by the sweetest little space. It's perfect for someone traveling solo or with a partner. Quick trip into the city or plenty of great places to eat within walking distance. We'll be back!

    Alyssa2017-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was really cozy! The heated floors were definitely a plus, especially when the cold weather rolled through at night. Having the bathroom in a separate building wasn't as bad some have previously reviewed. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, and would definitely consider the cottage should I visit Portland again!

    Andrew2017-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay right near SE Division St. Would stay again for sure.

    Kristian2017-06-12T00:00:00Z
  • Really cool little place to stay that's truly unique. Didn't see the other guests often and they were really friendly, as were the cats! Close to everything and easy to find with a lovely garden in a neighborhood bursting with flowers. Only thing I'd wish for is consistent hand towels in the bathroom. ;)

This wonderful, private little gem is just a few easy walking blocks from plentiful drinking, dining, dispensing, yoga & coffee spots. You will be one block from Woodlawn Park, 2 blocks from a bus and a 5 minute drive from the Alberta Shopping and Arts District. It's all so comfortably close by, but not close enough to disturb your relaxing, sweet retreat. Come have it all while living small in this tiny, artsy home away from home!
This space was built as a Model T Garage in 1926 behind a 1915 bungalow but it has had a face lift and has taken on a new life as a cozy, warm freestanding studio made mostly from reclaimed materials. A "tiny house" if you will, sweetly positioned between fruit trees and a garden sitting area. The sleeping loft comfortably sleeps two and there is a futon below the loft where one can enjoy a book while the other naps above. Occasionally you will hear the trains in the distance which adds a touch of nostalgia and you get to wake to the relaxing clucking and cooing of the neighborhood hens as this area has a nice spattering of urban farms and lots of mature trees. For your comfort, this as a "pet dander free" space. No pets, thanks. The table pictured here has been replaced with a "garden shed" counter that houses a small, removable basin sink. There is also a rustic, rough hewn armoire to hang clothes and tuck away your backpacks. The little kitchenette corner is stocked with utensils, a two burner cooktop, a mini fridge, a microwave, coffee and a coffee press. The studio's setup is more akin to a cabin, and as many cabins go, there is no bathroom. You will be given a key to the main house so please feel comfortable enough to come in and use the facilities. By the way, it is insulated, well heated, and stocked with plenty of blankets so it is a wonderful, warm hideaway in the fall and winter months as well. Yep, snuggly wifi too. The yard is plentiful with flowers and fruit bearing trees (figs and delicious yellow plums) in the summertime, as well as an array of veggies in the gardens where you can sit amongst the trees and regroup after a hard day at Powells Books. It's within a 5 minute walk from the heart of Woodlawn which has some fantastic spots to shop, drink, dance, and dine: -Firehouse Restaurant, somewhat romantic with good service -Woodlawn Coffee House, for plenty of people watching -Breakside Brewery, to grab a bite and catch up on the game -Grand Army Tavern, have some pork with your...pork : ) -Good Neighbor Pizza, laid back & late night too -P's & Q's Market serves yummy meals and a few grocery items -The Village Ballroom, for Square Dance and Special events -Uptown Cycles, sales and repairs -Portland Girl, spa day anyone? -Greener Grasses, well-rated dispensary -Koken Market, for almost any beer you want, snacks -Café Eleven, art, coffee, lunch & some pastries -Oregon Public House, the nation's 1st nonprofit pub -The Highwater Mark, rock pub with pool & hip hop on last Fridays -Tamale Boy, authentic & delicious with lots of outside seating -Bassato Gelato, 12 rotating flavors+bagels in the morning -HighWheel Mead, open Thurs-Sunday -(Seasonally) Woodlawn Farmer's Market at Woodlawn Triangle, Sat. 10-2 Downtown is a 15 minute drive. The Alberta Arts District is also just minutes away so you can hop on a bike and be right in the middle of the jam-packed Last Thursday Art Walk or make a day of it with shopping, dinner and some delicious ice cream from the infamous Salt & Straw. Then come "home" to your quieter retreat where you can just relax and lay in the hammock.....ahhhh. And as the area is well surrounded by beautiful, mature trees, you may decide to enjoy dinner in the love seat swing under the pergola and watch the evening sky. It is a wonderful theatre for watching small bats do their sky routine in the distance. Flying in? This spot is only 10 minutes from the airport. And while in Portland, you may want some wheels! Well, this location is very close to Zipcars and you can sign up with them or Car2go on their sites in advance of your stay. Check out Turo or Getaround to grab a vehicle to tool But if you want to explore the city on two wheels, Everybody Bike Rentals or Ebikes ( electric bike rentals) are the spots to hit first (10 min. by bus). They provide helmets and locks too! ***If you don't see the dates available on the calendar that you had hoped for or if you are traveling with more than two people, please check out my other listing (#95313) which is also a private studio at the same location. It is larger and complete with a private entry and bathroom. Just ask me! Parking is close and the livin' is pretty easy. So please get that profile completed, then contact me and come kick up your heels and stay a while! Oh! P.S. Please read the description, house rules and post a pic of you in your profile beforehand just so that everyone is on the same page. Much appreciated. Cheers!
  • We had a great stay at Andrée's studio. We knew what to expect coming here and Andrée was really helpful in providing suggestions to nearby sights and places to eat. Although it got a little cold at night, there were plenty of extra blankets and throws right next to the bed. We would definitely stay here again.

    April2015-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • Andree is so welcoming, intelligent and interesting. The carriage house allows for a really independent stay, comings and goings that dont disturb. With the abundant plum tree in the yard and the ability to cook ones own food its really the best possible place to stay. I found transportation very easy and spent many hrs just strolling through the neighborhood. I could not recommend it more and if I return to portland this will be my first choice.

    Katy2013-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay! Andrée was very accommodating of our late night arrival and stayed communicative throughout our stay. The place was just as pictured and feels very homey. I highly recommend!

    Sophie2016-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • Andree was a very friendly, available and communicative host. We had a really lovely time in the cabin. It's cute and quirky and the neighborhood was a pleasant surprise, I hadn't been to that part of Portland, but it was lovely!

    Celene2015-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very quaint and secluded enough but close to everything. Got great sleep :)

    Kat2017-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cozy unique space. And at a great price too.

    Steven2017-12-19T00:00:00Z
  • Andrée was a superb host! I had a (Hidden by Airbnb) interview in the morning and she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. She was genuinely concerned about how the interview went as well. She gave us great suggestions for places to eat and visit. I couldn't be more pleased with our stay at this beautiful private space!

    Jennifer2016-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • There's something special about this little barn tucked behind Andrée's quirky home in an unexpected up and coming neighborhood. Never has it been so easy to disconnect from the day to day and the superficial and really connect with yourself and/or loved one. My boyfriend and I spent a full week in the barn and loved every minute. Andrée offers the best local suggestions. One of her best recommendations was to skip Voodoo donuts and go to Tonalli's on Alberta. Take her advice. Go to Tonalli's get the blueberry fritter and prepare for donut Nirvana. We would happily stay with Andrée again!

With lots of space and light, this studio has everything that makes a house feel like a home: a fireplace, a full kitchen, a queen bed, oak floors, handmade furniture, cable tv including HBO, and a private entrance.
This studio is a welcoming space in the center of an historic neighborhood that offers a unique perspective on the city of Portland. Ask me for in-depth info on where to go and what to see in the Irvington neighborhood, the Alberta Arts District, and other parts of Northeast Portland! Over the years, I’ve gotten to know quite a few incredible places to eat, drink, shop, and explore here. Located at the hub of some of Portland’s most interesting neighborhoods, this studio places the whole city at your fingertips. But adventure can be tiring, and the studio offers ample opportunity to put your feet up. Portland can get nippy at night, and a real wood fireplace, stocked with firewood from locally harvested and dried urban hardwood trees, is the perfect way to warm up and feel at home. The apartment has high ceilings and a great fireplace; it’s minimally decorated but has all the important things: a queen bed, a couch with a coffee table, a small desk, a dresser and extra shelves, and a kitchen table. The kitchen comes fully stocked with the essentials for cooking a real meal, and the bathroom always has towels, soap and shampoo. The space is located on the first floor of a large 1910 home, which was converted to an eight-plex in the 1940s to adapt to the demands of WWII. I have lived in Irvington for 14 years and Portland for 25, and this house is one of the most unique that I’ve seen.
The Irvington neighborhood, now only a ten minute bike ride from downtown, was once a trolley-car suburb to the just-fully-developed West side. Designated a historic district by the National Register of Historic Places in 2010, Irvington is filled with early 20th century homes that have been preserved in their original states. Irvington has become a livable hub of Northeast Portland as a whole, with shops and restaurants of all kinds, within walking distance, surrounding the neighborhood. Irvington proper boasts more than a few community and culinary destinations of its own.
  • Great little studio apartment in a lovely residential neighbourhood. Charming tree-lined streets that made us feel safe during our entire stay. Super comfortable bed, easy to regulate the temperature with the space heater provided, clean and quiet (this was really important since we were travelling with a 5-month old). Really easy to get to downtown (15 minute bus ride) with the #8 bus just around the corner. Whole Foods 4 blocks away if you need groceries. Really easy to check in as we were warmly greeted by Tiffany, Jason's associate. She made us feel welcome and was available with any questions or needs that we had. Shower, appliances, and internet were all reliable with no hassles at all. A lovely trip that was made worry-free due to a great AirBNB listing!!! Would highly recommend!

    Justin & Meredith2016-04-29T00:00:00Z
  • Jason was great! He checked in with us to see when we were going to arrive to make sure everything would be smooth for us. He was available to let us into the space when we arrived in Portland. The fireplace was amazing, and Jason provided ample firewood and resources to get the fire going. The studio is a perfect size for 2 people. I have allergies and loved having access to a full kitchen to cook in a smaller space. It is harder to come by so we really appreciate that. The location is wonderful. The neighborhood is quiet residential and the bus stop is 5 minutes away. Its less than a 10 minute walk to many restaurants, bars, coffee shops, etc. Great location and loved the quiet at night when we came back to the flat. Portland was frozen over and cold when we arrived so we didn't get to take advantage of his cheap bike rentals but its a great perk!

    Meaghan2016-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • The studio and neighborhood were wonderful. Very quite and private. A beautiful space.

    Benjamin2016-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • This was truly an excellent choice to start our PNW trip. Jason's studio is perfectly situated in a little corner of NE Portland with many places in walking distance, yet also easily accessible by car, bike, and public transit. This is a clean, cozy, and comfortable space with a friendly host - highly recommended!

    Valerie2015-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for the value. A little loud at times due to other guests, but a great location and everything you need to feel at home.

    Drake2018-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely neighborhood, expansive apartment. Best in warmer months, unless owners deal with air intrusion issues.

    Stuart2017-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • This place was great. Jason was very quick with his communications. Highly recommended.

    Craig2016-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • We loved everything about this place. I want to live here. Great character, classy furnishings, good neighborhood, fantastic restaurant recommendations. We came to explore Portland but couldn't bring ourselves to go outside. Highlight of the trip. Thanks for everything.

This quaint totally furnished garden cottage, one bedroom apt. is private with it's own key, private entrance, and courtyard in the downstairs of our historic brick English tutor home in Laurelhurst, a beautiful old Portland community! Read our outstanding reviews!
This quaint 1 bedroom furnished apt. is located downstairs in our historic brick English tutor home. It has a separate key, private entrance, and courtyard. The space is well-lit with two windows and has a back door to a beautiful garden and patio in the backyard as well as a side door to the courtyard. The location is Laurelhurst - one of Portland's oldest and most beautiful planned communities on a quiet, tree lined street within 10 minutes of the city and 15 min. from the airport. Major shopping, wonderful restaurants and one of Portland's most beautiful parks are all within walking distance. This ideal location is only two blocks from a major bus line and 5 blocks from the MAX train. It is also within walking distance of favorite east side shopping and dining areas, including Hawthorne, Belmont and 28th street. When you enter this mid-century decorated apartment you will immediately feel at home! You will find a comfortable queen sized bed, overstuffed chair and desk with the latest mesh technology wireless internet, flat screen TV with cable, Blu-ray CD player, a collection of movies in the bedroom. The newly tiled bathroom has a tub and shower and, although there is not a separate "living room", the kitchen and pantry is fully furnished with everything you may need to make your own meals if you choose (i.e. microwave, gas stove, refrigerator, blender, coffee maker, dishes, pots/pans, spices, condiments, etc.). Other amenities include a private courtyard, washer/dryer in the apt., and easy walking distance to bus, train, restaurants and shopping. More information on our historic home can be found on Oregon Encyclopedia website. Search for "Brick House Beautiful". Our home has also been in "Better Home and Gardens" magazine and has been twice on the cover of "Old House Journal". If we are home when you arrive, we will be happy to give you a tour of our home and offer you a cup of tea or a glass of wine while you have complete access to our English gardens, courtyard and barbecue during your stay. We think you will be pleased if you choose to stay in the "Quaint English Garden Apartment " located in our beautiful historic home!
Laurelhurst is an historic old Portland neighborhood with beautiful homes, street trees and a huge park a few blocks away designed by the Olmsted's who designed Central Park in NYC. You will see how homes in Laurelhurst are each very different and unique from craftsmen with large porches to smaller bungalows with beautiful gardens.
  • I’m convinced there are no better travel accommodations than AirBNB. We stayed in Sue and Bob’s garden apartment on our first trip to Portland and were thrilled with the decision. The charming space had all the amenities we needed, including homemade chocolate muffins waiting for us on our arrival. It was the perfect home away from home, where we could cook breakfast each morning in the well-appointed kitchen and settle into the heavenly bed after long days of sightseeing each night. Sue and Bob were super friendly and quick to make great recommendations for sure-win destinations to visit. They even offered their bikes, incase we wanted to ride around in true Portland style. The neighborhood is beautiful and convenient to trendy restaurants (Tabor Tavern, Por Que No? Taqueria, Stammtisch), shopping (Powell’s Bookstore, Presents of Mind, Simply Vintage Boutique) and nightlife spots (Baerlic Brewery, Hale Pele, Landmark Saloon); Downtown Portland; and the interstate for trips out to the Columbia River Gorge, wine country or the Pacific Coast (Volcano Lands Tour). If we’re ever back in the Rose City, we would love to stay at here again!

    Katherine2014-08-14T00:00:00Z
  • A very pleasant stay. Welcoming hosts and a nice, cozy apartment in a charming house. Excellent for one or two people for almost any length of stay. Close to necessary stores and transportation. Very enjoyable.

    Le2015-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • The neighborhood is lovely, the gardens spectacular and the apartment just fine. Given the other reviews, I was sorry that Sue and Bob were out of town, but I loved my stay in their home. One might not really get the feeling of quaint, until they walk up the totally brick driveway, go through a garden gate and find themselves in a storybook setting. Every facet of their yard is a delight. One can easily walk into very, very interesting neighborhoods -- the best morning walks ever. It is an easy walk to charming retail areas that fulfill any shopping expectations that I had. And it is a very centrally located and easy to navigate from, into other parts of the city. Very clean kitchen and bathroom. There is no sitting room or living room but the bed functioned fine in that capacity! It was great!

    Deborah2012-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I spent 5 nights in the English Cottage and it was amazing. Everything was as advertised and then some. This place was located within walking distance (even though it rained most of the time and we didn't do too much walking) to everything you could ask for: restaurants, nightlife, shopping, the list goes on. We really enjoyed being able to get a tour of the main house from Sue and getting to hear about the history. We will def be staying here again when we are able to make our way back to the PNW!

    Sumie2017-02-28T00:00:00Z
  • Bob & Sue greeted us and gave a tour of their lovely home. The neighborhood is quiet, beautiful, and safe. The apartment was perfect for a week long stay. Centrally located to easily get to many of the great neighborhoods within minutes. The great selection of local magazines and travel books were a plus and helped us pick a few excursions around town. Our first AirBnB experience!

    Beth2016-02-28T00:00:00Z

    Guenter2015-07-10T00:00:00Z
  • We were welcomed by Bob and Snowball (aka Weasel), the cat. Wonderfully warm and helpful. Our first experience with Airbnb and we are probably spoiled. The cottage is more lovely than pictured. The outside patios, and beautiful gardens. Every convenience available. This is a place we would certainly return to.

    Lana2015-04-23T00:00:00Z
  • Bob and Sur were great--very friendly and available for help. The basement cottage is incredibly cute and comfy and fully stocked. We had everything we needed. Additionally the bed was like sleeping on clouds. Laurelhurst is a beautiful area, I only wish we had more time walk around the neighborhood and explore.

Everything you need is here at our brand new guesthouse loft: a luxurious, lofted queen bedroom; high ceilings with floods of natural light, a modern kitchen, full bath with heated tile, comfy sleeper sofa for extra guests, and Stumptown Coffee with organic cream. The loft rests at the back of the property, one block from bustling Division St, and short blocks from restaurants, coffeeshops, & the Woodsman Tavern, named “One of America’s Best Bars,” by Esquire Magazine.
The loft is located in our backyard in Southeast Portland. While we are only steps away if you need us, the space is very private. In fact, guests report that they forget they are in the middle of the city when they stay in our space! We live in a desirable and fun neighborhood, and parking can be tight! Guests usually find parking within a block of our house. At night or during busy times of the day, parking can be found within two short blocks. Guests may feel free to use our driveway for loading/unloading. We do not have a TV in the guesthouse, but offer excellent wifi access.
Our neighborhood has everything you will need, mostly within a five-minute walk! And if you want to visit a different part of the city, there is convenient public transportation around the corner. Check out excellent coffeeshops blocks away (Good Coffee and Stumptown), delicious and intimate restaurants (Bete Lukas, Mi Mero Mole, The Woodsman), or walk up to Mt. Tabor Park. If you're into yoga, there's an awesome space (Yoga Union) around the corner.
  • Laurel and Brian's place amazing! Great space--lots of light and nicely decorated. Very good location too!

    Eva2018-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • This was one of our best Airbnb experiences to date! Laurel and Brian's apartment is full of light and has everything you need, including a supremely comfortable bed. We loved the neighborhood and enjoyed walking/biking to many of our favorite restaurants in Portland. It was easy to coordinate our details with Laurel, and she went out of her way to meet us and welcome us in person, which was so nice. Overall, it was a perfect getaway weekend, and we would gladly stay with them again!

    Kim2016-10-03T00:00:00Z
  • I really can’t say enough about Laurel and Brian and their amazing place. Great neighborhood. Quiet, clean, comfortable house. Parking isn’t too big an issue. Laurel and Brian are great hosts—completely available and hospitable but not up in your business. The best AirBnB experience we’ve ever had.

    Audrey2018-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Seriously one of the best AirBnB’s in Portland. Don’t miss a chance to stay! So unique, clean, and comfortable.

    Greyson2018-06-22T00:00:00Z
  • This was the cutest place we've been in so far. Really bright (even on those snowy, cloudy days), it was nice & cozy. Perfect size, great coffee around the corner, really dug the whole experience. Would probably go back, definitely would recommend.

    Anis2018-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • Super cute, bright, and clean loft for our trip to Portland. It was hard getting out of bed on those cozy rainy mornings! Despite being within walking distance to all the great eateries and shops off SE Division & Hawthorne, street parking was easy (big deal for those of us who hate city parking) and we felt completely secluded when we retreated for the night. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable and modern space while staying in Portland!

    MyLan2017-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • So great! This place is amazing. 10/10. Would stay again.

Where Bali meets Portland. Come relax in this newly, beautifully designed, private mixed use accommodation. Just five short blocks from Portland's hip N Williams district. A rooftop deck.
I have a total of five rooms, each listed separately in this unique mixed-use building where I also live and work. You will enter just past the Ned Ludd front patio via a private, secure, gated entrance off of MLK at NE Failing street and follow the stairway up to the second level. This is the larger of the three rooms. Each room is newly refurbished and furnished with beautiful, responsibly sourced tropical salvage out of Indonesia and locally re-purposed wood/trim doors and windows. Your private room comes with a window, a wall-mounted flatscreen t.v., small refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, free wi-fi an armoire, an ornate sink carved out of stone, down pillows, down comforters, a king-sized posturepedic mattress and zen colored walls that might just make you think you are in... Bali?
NEPO (aka NE Portland) is hip and cool and like so many hip Portland neighborhoods–it is ever-expanding and reinventing itself. New restaurants, shops, boutiques and businesses are popping up all over. Whether you are looking for a place to lay your head for the night while you get out and explore during the day, or you are just looking for a place you can hole up and relax, we've got you covered. The options and amenities you will find here in your little oasis in NEPO are plentiful.
  • Timothy was a great host. The place is great. The neighbourhood is really cool. Right near a frequent bus stop and a couple books from some really cool streets. The bed was super comfortable and the space worked really well to hang out in and have privacy at the same time. It was excessively hot in Portland but the AC kept us cool all the time. The bikes were a great help to get around. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

    Judson2015-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time staying at Tim's place! The location was perfect; it was close to a lot of wonderful restaurants and it was very easy to get on a bus to downtown Portland. The bed was super comfortable and the room was nice and spacious. Tim was very clear with directions on how to get to the house and welcomed us when we first arrived. My only (small) issue during our stay was that the hallways and bathroom areas were pretty cold, but everything else was great.

    Colleen2016-12-04T00:00:00Z
  • I've stayed at this place twice because it's so great! I love the location; it's within walking distance to shops/bars on both Williams and Mississippi. Tim is a great host as well!

    Maria2017-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Very cute and comfortable stay!! We were able to take a 20 minute walk to Alberta St. and also find parking in the lot for our car. Very clean and the bed was so comfortable.

    Andrea2017-05-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our room was spacious with a comfortable bed and sink in the room. The room was a bit noisy during the daytime with the window facing a busy street but quiet at night. Great restaurants and coffee nearby and parking which was extremely convenient for us as we had a big car full of stuff that we wanted nearby.

    Kim2015-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • Tim was very accommodating. The space was well thought and and perfect for the long weekend

    Aaron2015-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Timothy was very accommodating! His location is beautiful and very clean. Immaculate bed linens, sandalwood scented towels and the rainfall shower all made for a vacation-worthy experience. Graet location as well! Thank you!

    Jeremy2016-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • Definitely recommend this location. Super chill, clean and an awesome ambiance. My husband and our furchild had a cozy, relaxing stay (the bed is very comfortable). The owner was super easy to work with and responded quickly to any questions, etc. We recommend this location to anyone visiting Portland - even if it's just passing through. Also, 'NEPO' was a convenient and stellar location. We hope to be back soon!

Our private detached garden studio sits in the heart of a quiet residential neighborhood and is a short stroll to top restaurants, food carts, and shopping in hip SE Portland. The space is compact -- about 240sf -- but cozy, bright and a great place to unwind after a day of exploring Portland!
Our cozy studio includes a comfy queen bed, vaulted ceilings, full bathroom, kitchenette, and small sitting area. It's fully detached from the main house, so offers complete privacy. Skylights, french doors, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows provide views of the west hills and flood the room with an abundance of natural light, even on the greyest of drizzly Portland days. It's small --about 240sf-- but the space is well utilized with many amenities such as wireless Bluetooth speaker, Portland maps and guides, and comfy pillows and blankets to make it feel like home. The space is best suited for guests seeking a cozy place to relax and recharge after a day of exploring Portland; If you're needing more of a "hangout spot," this may not be the best fit. The studio has a full bathroom with shower (no tub). The kitchenette includes a mini fridge, sink, instant hot water, coffee maker, microwave and everything you need for reheating leftovers from the many restaurants and food carts nearby. Complementary tea and coffee are provided along with a long list of restaurant recommendations. There’s a growler available for filling, which you can do at The Imperial Bottle Shop on Division Street and at many local breweries and grocery stores nearby.
We love living in the heart of the Richmond neighborhood! Nestled on a quiet, residential street, we're a short stroll (about 1/3mi) to two main restaurant and retail districts of SE Portland. A 4-block walk brings you to a bus stop that can get you most anywhere else in town. A short walk from the studio brings you to food, shopping and entertainment (to name a few of our favorites): PokPok, Salt & Straw, Ava Gene's, Bollywood Theater; Food Cart pods, Little T Bakery, St Honore; A myriad of boutiques, shops and independent movie theaters on Hawthorne, Clinton and Division streets. You'll likely meet some friendly neighborhood cats during your stay, but due to severe allergies, our studio is pet- and allergen-free. You may also spot our eyepatch-wearing, kung fu-performing neighbor (and good friend) practicing in the street, sometimes alongside his 4yo daughter. He’s a world-renowned martial artist and teacher, is super friendly and adds some true Portland character to our otherwise sleepy neighborhood.
  • Melissa and Brian gifted us the best experience -- they were friendly, helpful, and offered the most beautiful private studio. The location was perfect -- easy to walk to eclectic eateries and a short trip to downtown Portland. The studio was GORGEOUS. I would definitely stay here again!

    Jacqlyn2016-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa and her husband were great hosts. They were there to greet us and gave us suggestions for places to eat at and things to see in Portland. The studio was clean, modern, and in a perfect location. If we are ever in Portland again, we would definitely stay here.

    Riley2016-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa's lovely garden studio has everything you could want. Stylishly and comfortably furnished, this place is an absolute gem. Melissa has paid great attention to detail and has provided every comfort - everything is high quality such as the fluffy towels, toiletries, desk space, seating area and small kitchen space. Oregon Chocolate in the fridge was a lovely touch too. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is also really good. Location wise, the neighbourhood is perfect for foodies. Division Street has numerous restaurants, brewery/bars, cafes and a wonderful food cart pod which we went to twice! We would love to have spent longer exploring the streets and quaint shops. The area has quiet, leafy streets which have a delightful ambience and feel very safe to walk around. It was about an hour's walk downtown but there are regular buses from Division Street and Hawthorn Street so you have the best of all worlds. Melissa has thought of everything for her guests and if we could give this six stars we would. If you're looking for accommodation in Portland, look no further!

  • Traveling from Asia to Portland for our 10th Anniversary, we had such a memorable 3-day stay at Melissa's lovely studio. The room was cozy and well-appointed with everything we needed, and a beautiful backyard where we could relax and enjoy our breakfast. Melissa was extremely friendly and was so quick to help with any question we had. Location couldn't have been better - A very quiet community and only minutes of walk away from the bustling Division St where you could find the top restaurants and food trucks/carts. Driving into downtown took no more than 15 min. Thank you Melissa and we hope to return again in the future.

    Yu-Jen2017-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • This is place is such a gem. Melissa and Bryan are ideal hosts and provide anything requested. This is a perfect space to stay for visiting Portland.

    Paige2018-09-23T00:00:00Z
  • I had a wonderful stay at Melissa and Brian's place. The studio is perfect -- the location is great, the decorations and details are all incredibly well-thought out, and the overall communication process was totally seamless. Melissa and Brian are super nice and were very helpful in giving suggestions for things to do in the area. Our weekend here was wonderful!

Relaxed + modern one bedroom basement apt. Bright + spacious with a handmade Portland touch. Comfortable for two, it's a great home-base for the traveler wanting to explore PDX! Located in charming Woodlawn neighborhood. Near the park, bars and bus lines.
Handmade by us! We're a craftsman and an interior designer who are not afraid to get our hands dirty. Stay in this remodeled basement where every detail was thought, planned and carefully constructed. We value high-end, conscious design. Our motto is maintain, reclaim and sustain. All of the exposed wood was salvaged from this 100 year old home! We love our house and hope that you do too. It's a great, peaceful place to crash at the end of the day. A plush queen sized bed, a huge doorless walk-in bathroom (ie. divided by a wall), glass walk-in shower and a tiny but efficient kitchen were top priorities when we made this place. The kitchen has dishwasher/fridge/oven stocked with all the pots/pans and plates to make a nice meal at home. Its always a shifting art-installation, so don't be surprised if the art in the listing photos change. We like to collect art and objects during our travels.
We're one block from 2 major bus lines (the 8 goes to downtown) and our neighborhood market, P's & Q's. 3 blocks from Woodlawn park + 5 blocks to our neighborhood hub: breweries, dance hall, coffee shop and restaurants. Woodlawn is a great area and closely located to Alberta Arts District, Mississippi and Kenton.
  • Great place and neighborhood. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Close to the airport which was nice for us. Gorgeous and quiet rental.

    Hanna2017-05-01T00:00:00Z
  • Anna and Jeremy have a fantastic place in the Woodland Park neighborhood. Their basement apartment is sleek and modern and immaculately clean. The bed was super comfortable, and Anna made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this listing---particularly if you're looking for a lower-key Portland experience. The neighborhood had a great brewery and coffee/pastry shop, as well as several other restaurants and pubs--all within a short walk from the house. This is also an excellent spot if you need to make a flight---the airport is only about 10 minutes away by car. My husband and I would definitely stay here again!

    Amanda2016-09-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place that was just perfect for me and my wife. Easy to get to and from, especially the airport. Loved the vibe and of course Anna and Jeremy were great hosts!

    Andrew2017-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful suite, exactly as the pictures describe. Anna was easily reachable and we had no issues with communication. Location was walking distance from some great restaurants and bars, and 10 to 15 drivingfrom the city center.

    Jocelyn2017-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay here! This neighborhood has great Portland flavor, and allowed us to have relaxed mornings/evenings at neighborhood outposts for coffee & food when we didn't feel like traveling far. Still easy to get to other neighborhoods for exploring. The space is comfortable for two and Anna and Jeremy were fabulous hosts. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

    Elizabeth2017-05-18T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had a wonderful stay here! Anna & Jeremy have really put a unique touch on this cozy basement apartment. I love the concrete floors, the energy saving lights, and the cute and functional kitchen. The apartment was larger than I expected, and it was the perfect central location for exploring the city! Thank you guys so much!!!

    Alyssa2016-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • Anna & Jeremy greeted us and made us feel right at home.

    jimmy2014-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • This was our second time staying here because we loved the place so much. As far as access to PDX airport, you can't beat this peaceful retreat. Only a few minutes to departures/arrivals makes it a great option if you are coming in or out of PDX but don't live in Portland.

  • I hope I can stay in this gorgeous spot again! Beautiful space, thoughtfully furnished, incredible location- absolutely loved it! Just an FYI- the walls are thin, the first night I did not use the provided white noise machine- and I was up or had weird dreams, second night I did and it was much better, but if you are a light sleeper and not a morning person this wouldn’t be the spot for you... again, loved it and hope to stay again!

  • Anastasia’s place is the cutest! It’s a perfect size for 2 people! It’s convenient to shopping and eating! We were super excited it was so close to Providence Park because we were in town for the Thorns and Timbers games! My mom and I make it to Portland multiple times a year and we would definitely stay here again!

    Briana2018-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • This studio is amazing. I loved its super clean, modern feel. It was located very close to a bus stop making it easy to move about the city. The bagel shop next door was awesome! Anastasia was very nice and responded quickly. Check in and out was a breeze. Would recommend to anyone staying in Portland

    Tasha2018-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay at this studio! My boyfriend and I stayed at Anastasia's place for 4 nights. Right when we walked in, we loved how cozy and clean everything was. This space had the perfect amount of room for my boyfriend and I. We are from San Diego so we weren't used to the cold but there was a heater in the apartment that made it just perfect. We did have a rental car and finding parking was a breeze thanks to the parking pass that Anastasia provided. There are quite a few places in the neighborhood to walk to including Salt & Straw and Blue Star Donut, which are both a must when visiting Portland. Felt really safe walking around the neighborhood too. We visited quite a few parts of Portland and the neighborhood we stayed in was by far our favorite. Just to make things even better, Anastasia was an amazing host. Clear instructions and great communication. When I asked if she had many recommendations of places to go while visiting Portland, she went above and beyond by taking the time to give me an extensive list of things to do and try. I didn't get to meet Anastasia in person but she even checked in with me during my trip to make sure everything was going fine :) I thought that was very nice of her. We definitely enjoyed our stay in Portland and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else but here.

    Asia2016-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • Anastasia was very helpful with any questions we had and made sure we were comfortable with everything. The studio was just as described and the location was perfect, located just 15 min from everything . I would definitely recommend staying here!

    Patrick2017-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Such a cute little space in a great part of Portland. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and ice cream :) Anastasia is also quick to respond. Would definitely recommend.

    Kori2018-07-13T00:00:00Z
  • Anastasia's place was amazing and as described. We loved everything about it, from the convenience to the privacy she provided. She was very accommodating and always made sure to check-in with her guest, which I personally loved. We didn't see very much of each other, but she was always responsive and again checked in from time to time.

Spacious master bedroom with private bath, entrance & deck; easy access to transportation, walking distance to N Williams, N Mississippi, The Pearl, Rose Quarter/Convention Center, east side amenities, & Emanuel Hospital. All are welcome! airbnb.com/rooms/2291626?s=51
This is a large master suite with accommodations for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay: a Keurig coffee maker, complimentary coffee and tea, a refrigerator, a microwave, dishes, knives, and silverware. The room also has cable TV, Queen size bed, foldout futon sofa, airbed in closet, sitting area & desk. "...the bathroom was unexpectedly awesome with two sinks, and such a large shower with dual heads." Heating and air conditioning is a mini-split which keeps the temperature comfortable and quiet.
Eliot neighborhood is full of popular dining establishments, coffee shops, music venues, parks, and the Matt Dishman community center with in-door swimming pool. This is a great close-in Portland community with access to everything you need. Several places for live music include the Secret Society, White Eagle Saloon, Wonder Ballroom and, of course, the Rose Garden Moda Center.
  • Jere is an amazing host and the room is perfect. I moved here to Portland a little over a month ago from TX, and Jere has been instrumental in helping me to acclimate to my new home city. She is very knowledgable, provided maps, invited me on hikes, answered many questions, invited me in to the main part of the home for tea, and even met me after work to walk home (from downtown area). The room is large, clean, and comfortable with a nice private entrance covered deck and a huge bathroom, shower, and walk-in closet. I couldn't ask for a better host family or better accommodations as I begin a new life in Portland!

    Lisa2014-03-20T00:00:00Z

    Eric2016-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Absolutely beautiful place, and well located! To echo other visitors, the shower is absolutely fabulous!

    Sierra2016-10-18T00:00:00Z
  • I spent a month here, and it was exactly as described in the listing, plus more! The bed was super comfortable, and the bathroom and walk in closet are huge. It was off the street so very quiet and peaceful at night. Also, very convenient to several awesome neighborhoods (Mississippi, Williams, Fremont, Alberta) plus easy access to the Max so I could swoop downtown for more adventures. Jere was an excellent host, very kind and responsive to anything I needed (including when I locked myself out the first night!) Next time I'm in town needing a place to stay, I will definitely look here first!

    Gretchen2014-06-15T00:00:00Z
  • While I never got a chance to meet Jere, she made sure our stay was wonderful. Our room was even better than we had expected and was located in a great area within a close walk to shops and yummy restaurants. She made our Portland stay very memorable. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Portland.

    Simon2014-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Jere’s place is the perfect distance from the Moda center. It’s about a 22mins walk from Jere’s place. The bathroom is HUGE!! The shower was great. The instructions for the tv was wonderful! During the week there’s lots of street parking but on a Friday night kind of difficult to find parking on the same street as the house. There are great food places near by like pine state Biscuits and restaurants on Mississippi street like Gravy and blue star donuts. Ventured a little further and tried out Pinky’s pizza and the owner was super nice.

    Dana2018-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • Jere’s place exceeded my expectations! It was clean and cozy. The space is well laid out and the shower is huge!

Comfortable, modern basement studio with private entrance, only minutes away from downtown and located in safe, quiet Piedmont neighborhood with plenty of on-street parking. Comfy queen size bed, private bath, private kitchen with stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, hot water maker, and all the basic amenities.
Warm and cozy space for two with modern furnishings and its own complete kitchen and bathroom.
Piedmont is a quiet, family oriented neighborhood. There is a large city park a few blocks away with a beautiful rose garden, tennis courts and public pool. The trendy Alberta Arts and Mississippi neighborhoods are nearby.
  • The space is wonderful, very comfortable and clean. It was nice to have a place to put clothes aside from a suitcase with all the dressers. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the home has beautiful landscape.

  • Robert's basement studio was perfect for our trip. It's in a great location and had plenty of parking spots available on the street. The space was clean, cozy and just as advertised. And the bed was super comfortable too. I would recommend staying here.

    Deepti2018-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • Robert's place is in a very convenient location..we rarely had to use our car with public transport as well as restaurants and stores close by. Everything was clean and the space was very roomy. Communication was excellent as well. Highly recommended!

  • Amazing place! Will return if in the area!

    Nina & Matt2018-03-27T00:00:00Z
  • Robert's place was outstanding in every way. It was the most beautifully decorated airbnb I've ever stayed in, with high-end appliances, linens and furniture at every turn. It was absolutely immaculate, and there were extra touches everywhere. Perfect location, we fell in love with the neighborhood. I had asked how much an uber would be to downtown Portland, and it was even less than the low price Robert had quoted. I very much look forward to staying there again the next time I'm in the area.

    Cathy2018-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Immaculately clean. Nice amenities. We didn’t use the kitchen to cook since Portland has such amazing places to eat, but it seemed fully stocked and super clean. Very thorough instructions for using all the amenities at the rental. Would definitely stay at Robert’s again!

    Dany2018-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • We enjoyed Robert’s place. It was easy to find and in a very central location for what we were looking for.

  • Robert was the one of the best hosts I’ve ever had! Coming from SF, he welcomed his place with open arms for my fiancé & I. The place doesn’t disappoint with the touches of unique artwork & special decor. We felt very comfortable during our stay & would recommend this place to anyone whose visiting Portland. Thank you Robert for everything!

The bunk room has been created as a nod to the hotel's creation as a safe place for sailors. You'll find the same thing in this space with 18' ceilings- cozy, strong, and comfortable triple bunk beds.
At The Society Hotel, we believe in making every traveler feel authentically connected to our community so they are ready to enjoy our beautiful city from day one. We offer three ways to experience our unique hotel: bunk rooms for the affordable community experience; private rooms with shared bathrooms for comfort without excess; and suites for a bit of affordable luxury. All of our rooms come with plush beds, 10-foot windows, high speed wifi, and a hospitality experience unlike any other.
Old Town is Portland's oldest neighborhood - the original epicenter of Portland, Oregon. It has a colorful history and an equally colorful present! We are the epicenter of Portland's street fashion scene, the nightlife district, as well as a social services haven for those most in need. So expect an eclectic mix from Old Town, and hopefully love it as much as we do!
  • Fantastic location! Staff were friendly and accommodating! I was able to go in and out as I pleased! Bunk E had everything I needed. Other travelers were respectful and kind. I absolutely loved the space and would stay at the Society Hotel again.

  • It was a pleasant experience and the facilities were great.

    Andrew2016-04-18T00:00:00Z
  • Really liked the location. I walked to Stumptown coffee, Voodoo donuts, & Deschutes brewery - all very easily accessible. I felt safe alone walking in the evenings in the drizzling rain.

    Eugenia2018-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay! Very clean and friendly people. The only downside is the area. The neighborhood is not the best and there were many homeless people on the street outside of the hotel. There were places to lock my belongings and a key card to get into the bunk so I felt much safer inside.

    Kayla2018-09-29T00:00:00Z
  • Quiet and Comfy. Thanks!

    Kelly2016-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was a very quaint hostel that looked nicer than a lot of hotels I've been to. There is a cafe just outside the bunk room, it is a small walk to most great places in the city, and the owners and workers were all very polite and lovely. I would absolutely stay here again! MAYBE the homeless population is a bit more rough around the area, but it really doesn't hurt the environment that much.

A quiet, cozy bedroom & bathroom on the ground floor of a beautiful, modern new home in a verdant, friendly Southeast Portland neighborhood. Enthusiastic greeting by very friendly dogs & cat comes standard!
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE REQUESTING ACCOMMODATION. As a courtesy to our guests, our check-in time is 2:00 pm; however, as we both work weekdays, we cannot have the rooms ready until 5:30 or so. What this means is that our guests are welcome to make themselves at home in their living room or just drop their bags off and head out exploring, but they won't be able to rest their weary heads or hit the showers until we've had a chance to get home and tidy up. (PLEASE NOTE: This listing highlights the primary guest bedroom available, but for parties of 3 or 4 people, we do have a secondary bedroom that also features a queen-sized bed. If you are making a reservation for two people and you wish to book both bedrooms, PLEASE EXPLICITLY TELL US SO, as the default for two guests is ONE bedroom; for a two-guest reservation, the cost will be the listed room rate + $30/night. All guests share the same bathroom.) There is almost an entire floor available in our newish home smack-dab in the heart of fun, accessible Southeast Portland! This means that our guest(s) get not only their own quiet bedroom, but also a private full bathroom AND their own nicely-appointed living room (please note: the first-floor living room is NOT private, as it does not have a ceiling and is the way between the front door of the house and the stairs to the second floor). We are steps away from a frequent-service bus line, a terrific sandwich shop that's open for breakfast, lunch AND dinner, a pizza joint, a Starbucks, and, best of all, a Trader Joe's! The house is about two miles south of the trendy Hawthorne district, one mile south of nationally-recognized Division Street, and about four miles east of downtown Portland. The house itself is a beautiful, soaring Doug Fir- and hemlock-constructed dream home decorated with one-of-kind glass art pieces and potted succulents. Our guests have access to our fabulous kitchen in addition to their own first-floor amenities. We have a very friendly housecat you will likely meet during your stay, but the guest bedroom and guest bathroom doors are kept closed for the comfort of allergen-sensitive guests. We also have two friendly dogs who will greet you eagerly upon your arrival, but who otherwise spend their time hanging out with us and don't wander much to the guest floor. Lastly, to our guests during the colder months: the guest floor tends to be the coolest in the house, and we provide space heaters and afghans for your comfort, but we figure we should let you know ahead of time that if you run cold, ours may not be the ideal place for your stay.
Our neighborhood is so great! We are really close to several cool Portland hubs, but we're on a relatively quiet residential street so we truly have the best of all worlds.
  • This place was great! The check in process was very easy and flexible. I would definitely recommend Becca was so kind and her dogs are adorable. The place is exactly as it is promoted and they have tons of suggestions on things to do.

    Yeymy2017-06-30T00:00:00Z
  • Brad and Beccas place was a great find! A very inviting home with amazing decor. Brad and Becca were both incredibly friendly host, and their suggestion map did not disappoint! I really loved my stay here, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a easily accessible, clean and awesome place to stay in Portland.

    Nelson2017-05-20T00:00:00Z
  • I love love love how B & B have set up their BnB! The first floor (bed, bath, sitting area) are reserved for their guest. Second floor (kitchen, dining, living) is shared. Third floor is their private space. They are enthusiastic hosts, helpful and attentive. On this trip I barely had time to grab a food cart meal and get a good night's sleep. I hope to return another time, when I might have a bit more time to enjoy the space and their hospitality.

    Don2014-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • Brad and Becca welcomed us to their home and they were awesome hosts. The space is exactly as described, very comfortable, clean and private. They are also very friendly, and very willing to answer questions and share traveling tips. It was our first time using Airbnb, and we couldn't have asked for better hosts. And for pet lovers, their animals are really fun to be around too.

    Amanda2014-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Brad has an amazing space and perhaps the coolest treehouse I've ever seen. Very comfortable, well appointed and easy to stay at.

    Vijay2015-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • Brad and Becca were really friendly and made a few suggestions on where to go and what to eat. They also have a super friendly dog and sweet kitty who were just as welcoming. The room was as described. Ther weather was perfect. It was bright in the day with natural sunlight. You have your own private bathroom and it was clean. I had rented a car and had no problems finding street parking in front of the house. They live really close to a sandwich shop called Shut Up And Eat. They had tasty sandwiches and pickled veggies. It's within a quick walking distance across the street. Also, the house is situated really close to all the districts, except downtown which is 15 min away. Oh, I used the fridge to store drinks I had gotten at the nearby Trader Joe's and used the coffee maker daily, which was nice because I need coffee in the morning to function. The bed was pretty comfortable too.

    Nancy2014-09-04T00:00:00Z
  • Very neat place. We came late and left early so didn't get to see much but Becca and Brad were both welcoming. They have a sound machine, fan and heater, which are fantastic ideas. We only used the sound machine because we have two small dogs. They also have two dogs, Carlos and Zuzu (probably misspelled that) who were wonderful w/ other dogs.

    Jessica2017-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • They're a pretty cool couple who made sure we had a comfortable stay. The house is awesome and definitely a great place to relax!

  • This place is a wonderful retreat while being in the midst of a fun neighborhood. The place feels private and quiet and is beautifully kept.

    Chris2017-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • This tiny house is very cozy and intimate. The location is spot on and right next to the bus stops. It's very easy to get around from the location. Sara offered us oatmeal, fruit, and popcorn to munch on our first day. There's also a cute little patio right off the front of the tiny house that you can enjoy your dinner or coffee on. It was a great experience!

    Evan2017-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Sara has created such a perfect space for a little Portland getaway. We have stayed in many airbnbs and this was right up there! Every little detail has been thought of. The space is small but so so so functional! Cute furnishings and thoughtful little things everywhere. We cooked in the kitchen with ease as well as walked to some of the cute cafes and restaurants that are so close! The bus stops right out the front of the house which was awesome. The supermarkets close by are incredible too! Special mention to Sara for her amazing communication in the lead up to our stay, she went above and beyond and we can't thankyou enough. We highly recommend this place for a charming taste of Portlands south east x

    Emma2017-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • 5 Stars! We had a great stay at Sara’s tiny house! The house was beautiful, clean and very convenient with a tiny kitchen and functional bathroom. Walking distance from tons of great restaurants and coffee shops, our stay was full of charm and character; definitely recommend!

    Alexandra2018-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • Sara’s sweet, cozy home is in the heart of a beautiful neighborhood. Getting into downtown Portland is easy from the tiny house when using the TriMet bus (the bus stops across the street from Sara’s). Sara provides plenty of tips and tricks for a pleasant stay, so be sure to read them; she was absolutely wonderful about consistent communication. I would love to come back to Portland, and I would love to stay at Sara’s again—highly recommended!

    Kathleen2018-04-04T00:00:00Z
  • Sara's Tiny House was perfection for our relaxing vacation in PDX. It is clean, cozy, and quiet and still feels like home instead of a generic hotel. We felt like locals absorbing all there is to eat and enjoy on Hawthorne and Division streets, taking in the scents of plant life and sights of a quiet and connected area of Portland. We adored Stumptown Coffee, Trinket, Apizza Scholls, and the food truck "Lot" close by. We also went downtown and spent a considerable amount of time at Powell's (necessary!) and found our zen at the Chinese garden and tea room. Perfect week.

    Emily2018-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • What a nice place! We had an awesome stay in the the tiny home. Even though we didn’t get to meet Sara personally, the check in was smooth. The place was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed!

Relaxed, spacious + light boho-modern basement apartment with private entry. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers. It's a great landing pad to explore Portland! 15 minutes from the airport and downtown, ample free street parking and wi-fi . We are within walking distance to sooo many outstanding restaurants, coffee + bars: Breakside Brewery, The Firehouse, Tamale Boy, Tough Luck Bar, Dame, Beast, Expatriot, DOC, and many other great restaurants, brewpubs and boutiques.
The apartment is located in our mid-century home on a quiet residential street in the hip Concordia neighborhood. Whether you just want to chill in front of the wood-burning fireplace, wander the neighborhood, or have a glass of wine outside, feel free to relax and make yourself at home. With a full kitchen at your disposal you can make the most out of the local farmer’s markets and excellent grocery stores in the neighborhood too. This space is ideal for business travelers, with wi-fi and a full kitchen. We enjoy meeting all of our guests, but we respect your privacy and space as well. We are located about 10-12 minutes from downtown Portland by car. Public transportation is just a few blocks away.
The Concordia neighborhood is unique in its diversity, with long-time residents, young families and college students attending Concordia University. Other great attributes: - Close to downtown, and about 15 minutes from the airport. - Incredible restaurants, bars, coffee shops, shopping, art galleries, music, and street art are a short walk or bike ride away. - One block from public transportation that drops you downtown before you know it! - Close to our favorite grocery store (New Seasons) with organic food, local products, and an excellent source for gifts or mementos of your stay. - Beautiful Woodlawn, Alberta and Fernhill Parks are within 6 -12 blocks away, or head to Forest Park for great hiking in the middle of the city. - Concordia University is two blocks away, and a great place to stop by to watch a baseball or soccer game in their beautiful open stadium, check out their grounds or wander into the library.
  • We had a wonderful stay at Melissa's place. The studio is stylish and cozy. Melissa and her husband were very friendly and accommodating, but gave us our space. Thanks for everything!

    Megan2017-10-23T00:00:00Z
  • This was a very peaceful and comfortable place to stay with thoughtful touches throughout. I would definitely stay here again. Melissa was responsive and she and her husband were pleasant hosts.

    Alexandra2018-09-06T00:00:00Z
  • Very clean suite, has a beautiful kitchen with full stove, fridge, coffee machine (and great beans as well). Melissa was kind enough to leave cream and butter for us in the fridge. There was a pot and pan for us to cook and tin foil and oven ware to bake items as well. Would def stay here again if in the area.

    Courtney2018-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Great space. Melissa was a super helpful host, and we really enjoyed our stay. Her home was stylish and comfortable. We enjoyed the neighborhood, and took her up on a dinner recommendation, too. Really made our time in Portland special.

    Katie2018-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Melissa's place is as pictured, cozy, cute and warm for those cold nights. Melissa was a very thoughtful host who had lovely touches with coffee, teas, eggs, creamer and snack bars available. She has thought of everything, hair dryer, towels and even bodywash. Location was perfect. Everything was great, but as noted, the toilet does not work properly either does not flush or over flows, so that was the only flaw. I would definitely stay again otherwise :)

    Jenivee2017-11-19T00:00:00Z
  • The room was as advertised. Very cozy, nicely decorated, very comfortable. Everything in the unit was of high quality. There was a problem with the toilet and despite being out of town themselves, Melissa and her husband responded immediately and made arrangements to get it working again. And while it wasn’t 100% repaired, it was functional for the rest of my stay. They generously gave a refund for one night because of the inconvenience it caused me. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

    Dan2017-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • The location is perfect! Alberta is the place you want to be. Lots of local bars and restaurants walking distance from this place. The apartment was adorable and had everything you could possibly need!

I'm offering a comfortable clean bedroom in the best neighborhood in Portland. Self check in so late night arrivals are no problem. On all major bus lines. New Seasons market one block away and 20+ restaurants in a 15 block radius. Free street parking. LGBTQ friendly. 3 small dogs live here so if you don't love dogs, this is not the place for you.
I'm offering a bedroom in my four bedroom home on the main floor right next to the shared bathroom. The bed is a comfy queen size. My home has a back porch with a cozy deck for eating breakfast and sipping coffee and a picnic area under the arbor for dinner and relaxing. The dogs can be a bit intense, but Rocky is always down for a head scratch.
Dozens of excellent restaurants within walking distance of the house. Two grocery stores within 4 blocks. Major bus lines will take you downtown in ten minutes. Our neighborhood is quiet and clean in the heart of Portland's biking community. We're also within walking distance to the Aladdin Theater so come see a show while you're here!
  • Kara's place was great for our trip to Portland, definitely the walking paradise advertised here. Bars, restaurants and shops all within a few minutes and even closer than they look on the map.

    Grey2016-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Kara and her roommates were very accommodating in their cute house with such a nice room and thoughtful amenities. The neighborhood truly is the best in the city and is close to bus lines, next to a New Seasons grocery and anything else you might need on your visit. Thank you again, it was a great experience!

    Moira2014-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Kara's cousin welcomed us and quickly gave us the rundown of the house. It was great! The bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything was clean. The room had books on P-land and things to do, so it was great. Kara = PDX's finest!

    Michael2016-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Kara is very responsive and professional in her Airbnb service. We arrived later than her bed time, but she was waiting for us in her room even if she had left all the messages to us in adcance. We had a room with a window facing back yard. She provided all the stuff you may need. She is the only host who provided hair dryer during my whole trip in north west. I cannot say her room and bed is 100% clean, but there wasn't any dust on the floor as we stepped in. She has two pre-printed sheets on the desk introducing her family members and good things to do, good restaurants to try in her neighborhood. I had the most pleasant stay here. Recommended!

    Amy2015-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • Kara is a great host and we could not have asked for anything better. Her place is in a great location with friendly people and killer food within walking distance. We were given a comprehensive manual to our stay and the city. Her dogs are very sweet and didn't bark nearly as much as we were warned.

    Paige2016-12-30T00:00:00Z
  • Kara was an incredibly gracious hostess. She reached out to me about a week before our trip with complete information on how to get in (we arrived late at night). She was extremely helpful in coordinating some logistics and flexible in dealing with a few last-minute adjustments. I hope to get the chance to book with her again!

    Amanda2016-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • Cute and comfortable. We loved the dogs and the bed was so comfortable I thought I was home. Kara and her roommates are warm and welcoming. Would love to stay here again.

    Melanie2017-06-09T00:00:00Z
  • Perfect place to spend the night. If you don't like dogs, then do not stay here. However, I love dogs, so I had a great time. I never met Kris, but she was very accomidating. The television in the room had Netfix, so that was cool. The house is very close to Division street, which is full of cool restaurants and shops.

Buckman is a close in SE Portland neighborhood which is an increasingly popular place to live. The apartment is at the eastern end of the neighborhood. There are parks, a picturesque cemetery, good restaurants, wine bars, craft brewing pubs and the Laurelhurst movie theater, all within walking distance. The #15 bus line runs to downtown on the other side of the cemetery (6 blocks). A little further afield (just over a mile) is the Hawthorne district where there are some off beat shops and more places to eat and drink. Downtown is 2 miles away. The apartment is part of a new build and is situated at the rear of the property next to the garden It is one story up (over the garage) and receives a lot of natural light. It is fully self-contained, all appliances are new which makes self-catering very easy. What it lacks in history it more than makes up for in convenience! There is also ample free street parking directly outside the house. Buckman is pretty close to downtown while still having a residential flavor. It also contains a number of agreeable restaurants, wine bars and brewpubs. Everyday shopping needs such as grocery stores are also well served. Additionally it is pretty easy to get to the major freeways for travel purposes. Buses run to downtown and back a few blocks over.
  • This place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Located near many fun restaraunts and cafes. Cara and Roger were flexible and kind hosts. I wish we could have stayed longer!

    Caitlin2017-12-15T00:00:00Z
  • Five Stars! The studio apartment is indeed cozy in the best of ways. A perfect blend of hotel and home. The place was clean, fresh and bright like a luxurious hotel suite but with all the thoughtful and practical comforts of home. Within the first few steps you are greeted by a wine and glasses and a welcome note! The owners have clearly invested time in creating a "How To" manual for the studio itself and the neighborhood as well; highlighting the most common TV channels, resetting the wireless router, using the a/c, suggestions of 40+/- restaurants within a half mile walk. There is also an extensive collection of brochures and suggestions of what to do during your stay in Portland nicely presented on the coffee table. The cozy studio was a delight down to every detail. The sheets were clean, pillows fluffed, chairs were comfy and kitchen was well stocked with all the basic tools and then some. Owners provided ground coffee, milk, tea, peanut butter, etc. All the little things that get you going in the morning. Studio location was perfect too! Very accessible to restaurants, little shops, Biketown (bike sharing) and a short drive to downtown, Saturday Market, Laurelhurst Park and Mt. Tabor City Park. We even walked to Voodoo Doughnuts Too. We would definitely stay here again and again as we explore more of Portland.

    Nick2016-08-29T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I were visiting Portland for the first time and we were lucky to stay in this studio apartment for a few nights. The apartment is beautiful and well kept, and there are restaurants conveniently located within walking distance. Cara and Roger did a great job at making sure that our stay was comfortable. We will be recommending this place for our family and friends who plan to visit Portland!

    Jenny2017-03-29T00:00:00Z
  • My husband and I had the most incredible visit to Portland. Staying at Cara and Roger's beautiful apartment was a large percentage of why our visit was so wonderful... Bright, clean, and open... It was a treat to come 'home' after a long day of exploring and drinking coffee. Everything has been thought of in this studio, hair dryer, thick cozy towels, delicious stumptown coffee with cream and sugar(!) - it really felt like a home away from home, we were sad to leave. We are dreaming of our next visit, and it would of course be back with Cara and Roger!

    Kelly2014-04-26T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay here was delightful. We walked in and immediately felt relaxed. The bed was super comfortable with very soft sheets, and plenty of extra blankets. The space feels very private and quiet, but is walkable to delightful restaurants and public transit. Cara has set up this space with care and intention, and obviously takes care of it well! We loved the compact but full kitchen, and the clean and bright bathroom. A great find! Would definitely recommend a stay here.

    Kari2016-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • I loved staying in this cute, clean studio in Portland! Roger and Cara were gracious hosts and left plenty of information on everything from restaurants, bars and site seeing to groceries, pharmacies and instacare. All in close proximity. We didn't need to communicate with them much but felt like we could if we'd needed to.

    Wendy2017-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • All the positive reviews are well deserved. This is home away from home. Wake to the song of birds. Fairly quite neighborhood. Close to a lot of restaurants, breweries, etc. Was perfect location for the event I was attending. Would definitely reserve again on next trip to Portland.

    Leslie2017-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • I've stayed at many great Airbnbs, but this one by far was THE best. The location is far enough away from city house, but near enough for a short drive or Uber. We didn't take a car, but if you do, there is plenty of free street parking. The house is right on a corner so it's easy to find if you get lost or if you're getting an Uber pickup. Cara and Roger were the kind of hosts that you can tell really put in effort to go above and beyond. They had a wonderful guide book with suggestions of things nearby, maps, tour pamphlets, information about what is stocked in the apartment, etc. I could live in that studio. All the basic cooking utensils and kitchen stock items were there, and there is even a washer-dryer. The bathroom has everything, even a hairdryer. The entire space was impressive, beautifully lit, and impeccably clean. I would absolutely guarantee that a stay with them would make your visit to Portland so enjoyable.

Seen on the TV show "Tiny House Nation", CNN, Food & Wine Magazine, and the NY Post, the 350 sq ft Rustic Modern Tiny House was designed and built by us, your friendly AirBNB hosts. Guests call it "completely charming" and "the perfect urban getaway". Welcome! M+J
For years we've been daydreaming about building a little house one day. Then we finally made it happen - using our own two hands (DIY! The Portland way!) and with the help of some great friends. We had a vision in mind, but a lot of the details came together as we built, based on what materials we had available to us. Downstairs is the kitchen, living room with convertible couch, and bathroom with tiny clawfoot tub. Access the upstairs via STAIRS (not a ladder), where you'll find our loft bedroom with comfortable queen sized bed. Sustainable design is important to us, and the house is constructed and furnished from an eclectic array of reclaimed materials - squirreled away over the years, and now creatively reused and repurposed. See photo captions for a detailed walkthrough of the house. We love our walk/bike friendly N. Williams Ave neighborhood - it's been getting a lot of media attention as one of Portland's hottest neighborhoods. You are one block from the main corridor, bustling with award-winning restaurants, bars, coffee shops, wine bars, bakeries, yoga studios, and indie boutiques - it seems there's something new every week. Sunset Magazine loves its “low-key urban vibe", past guests call our neighborhood "awesome", "amazing" and "full of things to do". Our street has even made an appearance or two on the TV show Portlandia.
  • We can't say enough good things about our stay in Michael and Jenna's tiny house. It was absolutely perfect. Every detail has been thought of and the location is fantastic. Aside from the houses charm, Michael and Jenna could not have been more lovely. They are very responsive and helpful. They put as much love into their home as they do their guests. Thank you for such an incredible experience. We look forward to staying in your tiny house in Joshua Tree real soon!

  • Loved the place! Our first tiny home stay and it was great! Love all the re-purposed items. Very comfy cozy place. Had some snow the night before, so we woke up to frost around the front window, it was a relaxing view:) Bed was very comfortable and woke up feeling well rested. Wasn't quite prepared for the low ceiling height for the sleeping loft, so watch your head going up the steps!

    Randy2018-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • This is by far the nicest tiny house we've stayed in so far and we are avid world travellers. Great location for all of our needs and very pleasant quiet neighborhood with private mini front yard. It really made us feel like we were living in Portland for our stay. Highly recommend Michael and Jenna's place for your next stay.

    Sean2018-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous stay! Weather was very cold. In the morning when we woke there was snow in the garden. Michael was in touch often to made sure we were warm enough and had everything we needed. The two electric space heaters did a good job of keeping the house toasty... it is well insulated and quiet. Something we were especially grateful for was the fenced-in front yard which offered privacy from the street. Also, we prefer to cook for ourselves, so between having a New Seasons Market in the neighborhood and a kitchen to cook it all, we felt very at home. You can tell they put a lot of love into building/finishing and decorating the space. It has an easy, fun vibe. It may be a tiny house, but it doesn't feel small or cramped. We would certainly stay here again!

    Naomi2013-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • The house was a lot of fun to stay in and Michael and Jenny were very responsive and accommodating. Thank you for a great time!

    Orin2015-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • What a treat! The Tiny House was the perfect place for us to launch our exploration of Portland, and we found it cozy and comfortable in so many ways. The hosts, Michael and Jenny, are very attentive/responsive and have really paid attention to the details when crafting this place. We are already planning our next trip out to the area, so we can stay in this cozy little gem again.

    Brooke2014-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • The Rustic Modern Tiny House is everything you would expect it to be from the description and pictures - cozy, warm and comfortable. Michael and Jenna were exceptional hosts - even able to troubleshoot a small problem with the wifi within minutes. We happened to stay during an exceptionally hot few days in Portland (temps in the 90-100 degree range), but with the fans and ventilation in the unit, we were able to still remain comfortable. We would definitely make a return visit in the future!

    Sheening2015-06-27T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you for hosting us in your tiny home! Our stay was very comfortable with easy check-in and excellent amenities! Just as described!

    joe2017-04-06T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful hosts and beautiful space. Quiet and welcoming! Close to shops, bars, and 10-15 minutes from downtown. Would highly recommend to have Ronald and his partner as your hosts.

    Rene2017-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great place! Highly recommend

    Min Young2017-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Loved it! It was so nice! Very quiet, bright and cozy. Ron was so nice and very helpful. I would definitely stay again! I also loved that it's like a Halloween house

    Laura2016-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Ronald has a wonderful little apartment in a great neighborhood. Very easy to walk to Mississippi street and see the shops and restaurants. Apartment looked just like the pictures and was very clean and well-stocked with high-quality amenities like cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, kitchenware, nice coffee and tea, towels and Amazon TV with Netflix, Hulu and more, just to name a few. He left a note on the kitchen table explaining how to use things like the coffee maker and jets in the tub. Unfortunately, the fridge wasn't working the whole time we were there, but the freezer was. Lighting in the bathroom was a little dim and without a wall separating the bathroom from the rest of the apartment, you really can hear everything going on in there. Had a little trouble with the code to access the lock box because we were supposed to receive it a couple days before our trip, but didn't receive it until a couple hours before check in time. All worked out fine, however, and I was very happy with our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks Ron!

    Alejandro2016-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is very clean and modern. Ron made sure to get us the keys quickly and was an excellent host. Location is a quick walk from a few bars and restaurants. The neighborhood is a nice residential area.

    Morgan2016-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • Ronald's studio is sleek, spacious, comfy and very well located in the Mississippi/Albina area near very nice happening restaurants and shops. Ronald & Paul were always attentive and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The coffee maker grinds the coffee freshly which was a super plus. We'd highly recommend this place and would gladly come back.

Bright and clean private bedroom just one block off of Mississippi St. district in N. Portland. Minutes from downtown via bike, light rail or car. Easy access to/from the Airport too! Five years in and our five star rating is going strong!
This home is clean, quiet, creative and perfectly situated for an amazingly rich and convenient Portland experience. With a comfortable Queen bed (fits 2), wood floors, ample closet space, garden views and adjacent shared bathroom, you'll feel right at home. Please note that we ask our guests to limit bathroom visits to 15 minutes (especially in the morning) as this space shares a bathroom with an additional Airbnb room. Full access to kitchen, living room with fireplace, and landscaped garden patio with raised beds and seating. The home is full of plants and art from around the world. No pets/Allergen free! The Mississippi St. district is the place to be! Amazing restaurants, food carts, bars, breweries and stellar music venues are literally a minutes walk from the front door. NOT an easy place to get bored! Parking is easy in this safe neighborhood. The MAX light rail system has a stop just minutes away (walking) that can shoot you downtown or drop you off from the airport. Please note that our close proximity to the I-5 freeway does provide some background noise (not really noticeable inside the house). PLEASE NOTE: Arthur and Adam live in an adjacent building on the property. Audra is our house manager and good friend - and lives on the top floor of this home.
Portland's Historic Mississippi District is definitely where you want to stay when visiting the city. A gorgeous and funky stretch full of great shops, award-winning restaurants, an incredible music venue and amazing bars with outdoor patios and inspiring craft cocktails. SUPER easy to get to other parts of the city from here too!
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Adam and Arthur! They made us feel welcome in their house and were amazing hosts.

    Elisabeth2016-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • We had a nice time staying with Adam and Arthur. Their house is very close to many bars, restaurants and shops. They are located close to downtown as well which makes getting down there a breeze. Their house is hip and trendy and very clean. Adam and Arthur were very open and friendly and we enjoyed our chats with them. Highly recommend staying with these cool guys!

    Adam2016-10-19T00:00:00Z
  • Adam and Arthur's place is beautifully (and whimsically) decorated and immaculate. The location a block from Mississippi could not be better. The hosts were helpful and friendly.

    Kathryn2017-04-17T00:00:00Z
  • Natalie and Adam were friendly and hospitable hosts. They were even willing to accommodate my early arrival but I ended up getting in later than check-in time. The room was clean and cozy, and the entire house definitely has a nice home-y feeling to it. The neighborhood is quiet and is a super close walk to Mississippi Ave. which houses restaurants, bars, and shops. I rented a car and it was super easy to get across to the west side from their place. I highly recommend this spot for anyone who is visiting Portland.

    Nghiem2014-08-22T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful stay, great location, easy to get in, very clean room and a nice touch of hospitality.

    Charles2016-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • This place is wonderful! Super clean, and everything from check-in was incredibly easy. Rebecca was so kind and it really did feel like home for the night. I would recommend staying here to anyone - it's a real gem!

    Reed2018-04-20T00:00:00Z
  • Natalie and Adam's place was really charming. They were gracious hosts and the location is ideal. It's a very short walk from Mississippi Avenue, where there are great shops and restaurants and bars. We had a really lovely time. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay in a fun neighborhood.

This space will make you feel cozy and right at home! A bright and well appointed tiny house located in Northeast Portland. Just steps from some of the best restaurants in all of Portland. The Alberta Arts district is just a few blocks away with cafes, pubs and local shopping. There are unique neighborhood amenities, such as the soaking pool and movie theater at the Kennedy School. For more photos and neighborhood info, visit: @portlandtinyhouse on Instagram.
We put a lot of love into Portland Tiny House. The space includes warm wood flooring, ceramic tiling, modern decor and special vintage touches. The house has a very comfortable Tuft and Needle queen sized bed, bathroom, kitchenette equipped for cooking light meals and cozy counter seating for two. Coffee, tea, fresh eggs and Portland travel guides provided. Need anything else?...just let us know! (2 guests with a small child may sometimes be accommodated)
Guests are a block away from Portland's most popular and notable restaurants: DOC, Beast, Autentica, Dame, Expatriate, Wilder and Yakuza Lounge. The house is within walking distance to the local New Seasons Market and the Alberta Arts District with shops/restaurants/art galleries and the hugely popular Last Thursday monthly arts festival. You certainly won't want to miss all of the wonderful shops and restaurants up on Alberta Street. There are many popular restaurants that often have a line to get in (yes...they are THAT good!) like Pine State Biscuits, Salt and Straw Ice Cream, The Grilled Cheese Grill and the Bollywood Theater. Lots of vegan dining as well: Vita Cafe, Back to Eden Bakery and the Bye and Bye Pub. So many wonderful options, we usually have a hard time deciding what to pick! Just around the corner: Walk a block up to enjoy hand-crafted morning coffee at Extracto or breakfast at Cup & Saucer. Drop in to take a yoga class at The People's Yoga studio. Hunt for fun vintage finds at Red Fox Vintage. Or you can explore the McMenamins Kennedy School: a historic elementary school re-purposed as a hotel (including a movie theater, soaking pool ($5 for a relaxing soak), restaurants and pubs). There are two parks within walking distance from the tiny house, Alberta Park and Fernhill Park. Peninsula Park is also a quick jaunt from the tiny house and it boasts a beautiful, seasonal rose garden that is often less crowded than the well known International Rose Test Garden in the West hills.
  • From the fresh apple from the backyard tree to the gentle lowing of the hens, the tiny house was perfect, exactly as described on airbnb. The neighborhood was appealing with restaurants and grocery store an easy walk away. We enjoyed dinner at a neighborhood restaurant, DAME. The tiny house was impeccable, complemented by the backyard foliage.

    Dan2016-10-07T00:00:00Z
  • Nestled in a quiet corner of Northeast Portland stands a Tiny House with big-time appeal. Only stay here if you want somewhere clean, quiet, cute, comfortable, and close to a lot of nice restaurants and shops. In other words, definitely stay here. Even the chickens seemed welcoming. Tiny House Portland is the perfect place for a PDX getaway .

    Molly2018-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I had a wonderful two night stay in the Tiny House. The space is exactly described and has every amenity you may need. The house was extremely clean and so tastefully decorated in a fresh and unique way. I loved the plants and the chickens outside were so cute. Even though a Tiny House, we were surprised by the amount of space we had. Duston & Genevieve made every step of the process easy as could be. Free parking made it so convenient to get around. Their recommendations for neighborhood spots were great. We had the best latte of our life at Extracto coffee right around the corner. We also loved Sweedeedee and the Tin House Cafe for brunch. This was our first time in Portland and had such a great experience. We hope to come back someday!

    Kristi2016-06-08T00:00:00Z

    Manuel2016-08-15T00:00:00Z
  • Super convenient location! This tiny house was so charming and fit our family of 3 (1 toddler) perfectly. Genevieve even kindly left some toys and books out for our little one. We would absolutely stay again.

    Stephanie2017-07-12T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at the tiny home. The owners made it such an amazing stay for us! This small home has everything you need. Would 100% recommend to everyone!

    Isabella2017-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • Located near PDX, it was a quick ride to get to the airbnb and find ourselves in a warm, private space. It is secluded from the busy streets, but accessible to all the great restaurants and stores. We got lucky to avoid much of the rain for a January weekend and got to walk just a block away to grab some good food. It only took 15 minutes to get to downtown and finding parking near the airbnb was never an issue. Duston & Genevieve were very responsive before and during the trip and I felt secure that if any issues arose (which none did), they'd be quick to answer.

    Daniel2018-01-28T00:00:00Z
  • Everything you need out of an Airbnb—a kitchen, a cozy bed, a clean bathroom—packed into a quirky home with tons of personality and plenty of local recommendations for a complete experience of Portland. Duston and Genevieve were very accommodating and responsive hosts; they even helped us pick up a personal item left behind after we had already checked out. We would definitely stay again!

  • The Piedmont Cottage was lovely! The cottage is clean, comfy and in a great neighborhood. The atmosphere is awesome: river stone pathway to the house, bamboo trees and a beautiful koi pond. Heather is a great host. She is very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with.

    Lydia2016-06-14T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage is absolutely wonderful. I cannot believe how large it felt in there for such little square footage! My mother actually stayed here while visiting Oregon because she wanted to experience a tiny house. However, the place has a queen bed and a good sized futon. The bathroom is very nice as well. I would recommend staying here!

    Elishia And Boris2015-03-13T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed our stay at Heather's place and she and her husband were wonderful hosts! The space itself is great - perfect for a couple (or in our case a couple and a one-year-old). Having come from Nevada, where it is practically on fire 24/7, it was nice to sit with the windows open smelling the rain and listening to the waterfall outside on the patio. The house was clean and well taken care of - the photos you see on Heather's page are a great representation of what you can expect. The neighborhood was also quite nice and we felt safe and comfortable the whole time. I don't know my way around Portland all that well, but we seemed to have easy access to get anywhere we needed to go - so it seems conveniently located as well. Heather and Topher were also great hosts in making us feel welcome giving us tips about places to check out. We'll definitely put this place at the top of our list next time we head up there!

    Andy2012-04-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was our first Air BnB experience. We had no idea what to expect, and we couldn't have imagined it any better! Heather & Topher were great hosts, with many suggestions for places to experience in the city. Although we were on vacation, it felt very much like being at home. The cottage was a very comfortable and relaxing place to go back to after a full day of exploring Portland. We were out and about most of the time, but the times we did see Heather, Topher, and family, conversation was great. Very hospitable and welcoming experience. We look forward to visiting again.

    Tyler2015-02-05T00:00:00Z
  • Heather and Topher's cottage was absolutely perfect. It was clean, quiet, and in a great location for exploring Portland.

    Sarah2015-08-27T00:00:00Z
  • Thanks Heather and Topher! My friend and I really enjoyed our time in Portland. You have a nice little cottage that is across the street from a beautiful rose garden. The place was very clean and surprised how well the cottage maximizes its space as its not as small it seems. I really enjoyed my time and would come back! Thanks!

    Kyle2016-06-06T00:00:00Z
  • This was a lovely house, and Heather & Topher were great hosts. We didn't meet Topher, but Heather made a point to come out and say hello on our first day in Portland. They provided us with great information, and the Peninsula Cottage (or "tiny house" as we called it) was even more lovely in person. Stay here!!!

    Carmen2015-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • It was a great space, relaxing and fun. A nice location next to a beautiful park full of roses and close to fun places. We had a wonderful time and would definitely stay again.

This 3rd floor loft is located in the N. Williams District, on a main bike route, across the street from a bus stop, close to the street car and light rail. It is an eclectic 900 sqft self contained unit with amazing views on the top floor of a 1900's Victorian. This stretch of Williams Ave has a more industrial feel but we are just a few blocks from eateries & libations. Walk to the Convention Center, Moda Center and the Pearl District.
-The view is amazing. -Efficiency style open kitchen with 2 stove top burners, toaster oven, french press, cookware, full dishware & glassware plus a real fridge with freezer. -comfy queen bed & nice Egyptian cotton sheets -new heating system with Air Conditioning! -2 wifi networks -a slew of information & maps on Portland & surrounding areas such as the Columbia Gorge, Oregon Coast, wine country etc. -Walk to the heart of the Williams District -Walk to the convention Center & Moda -Walk into the Pearl District (20min.)
Building on its reputation for bicycles, beers and brunch, the Williams District has evolved into a dynamic, must-see destination for locals and visitors alike. With its broad array of eateries, breweries, characters, shops and services, the district is a veritable composite of all the best Portland has to offer. The Williams District includes more than 150 businesses and is also defined by its rich cultural history. In the 1940s and ’50s, Williams Avenue was teeming with jazz clubs and speakeasies. Today located just down the street is the historic Billy Webb elks lodge. On a Friday or Saturday night it is not rare to sit on the deck and hear the DJ spinning.
  • Tyra was very communicative and offered lots of suggestions of places to go in the neighborhood. I felt very taken care of. The loft was great, and exactly as described. Unique space with a unique view. We were so glad we brought our bikes; the location makes it easy to get up to Alberta or over to downtown in about 10 minutes.

    Kim2015-08-17T00:00:00Z
  • Tyra was very professional in meeting out needs for access. With us on a road trip and unable to give definite times of arrival, we found that Tyra very amenable to our needs.

    John2015-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Great host, very accomodating

    Chris2014-12-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first Airbnb experience and I was very pleased. The loft is true to the photos. Convenient location to get to and from cool places. Tyra was a generous host and supplied us with a french press and coffee for our early mornings. She was also available by text or email if I had any questions, and answered promptly. This place is strongly recommended!

    Cindy2015-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • Tyra was a wonderful host and we had a great time on our trip to Portland! The loft was beautiful and we had tons of privacy. The views of the city were great and it was nice to sit out on the balcony at night. Tyra made sure my late night arrival was smooth and generously provided local recommendations. She also left a local cider in the fridge and some snacks out on the counter for us. The loft was located in a very central location, convenient for walking, driving, or taking public transit. I highly recommend Tyra and the loft if you're ever in Portland! Thanks for a great experience!

    Rebecca2016-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful listing! Great view, and many wonderful places to eat within walking distance. I suggest Frank's Noodle House, for sure! I'd stay here again in a heartbeat.

    David2015-03-21T00:00:00Z
  • A trip to Portland in January may not be the warmest time to go, but we still had a wonderful visit anyways. Tyra's loft was cozy and private, with a killer view, one that could not easily be matched. Not only did we have a great view from the third floor, it's also real close to the city. We didn't use public transit for this trip but it would have been a breeze from this location. We did rent a car for the week, which took us to the coast and seattle, as well as around the city. The only issue we ran into with parking was when there was a basketball game the streets filled up, not surprising for walking distance to the Moda Center from the loft. This was a minor issue as the games were done in two hours and parking was open again quickly. Tyra was kind and recommended a few places as well to help introduce us to the area. We can't wait to come back! Enjoy!

    Philip2016-01-09T00:00:00Z
  • The loft was clean and equipped with all the essentials including towels and soap. I really enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea. Easy access and easy street parking. The relatively private deck and view was a definite plus. I'd stay here again. Great location/close to everything.

  • We had a wonderful stay at Chuck and Annika's beautiful southeast Portland apartment. The location was walking distance to tons of hip restaurants, coffee shops, and bars, which was really convenient. The neighborhood was safe and friendly and we were able to easily find parking at any time day or night. The apartment was super cute and had so many unexpected amenities that made us feel at home. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to Portland.

  • A wonderfully located, spacious and beautiful apartment. An amazing deal for everything you get! We had a fantastic time on our Portland trip, and part of that was due to the hominess of the place. Lots of nice little extras - coffee, tea, plates, books, etc. a very welcoming experience

  • Chuck and Annika were excellent hosts! My girlfriend and I checked in late so we could get the most of our vacation in Portland but when we arrived we met with Chuck and Annika, they were extremely nice and gave excellent recommendations on places to site see and places to eat. The best thing about this place is that its walking distance from pok pok and salt and straw! The place is very cozy and perfect or a couple looking for a get away in Portland. Thank you again Chuck and Annika for the lovely hospitality. If I am able to go to Portland again we will definitely be staying here again if its available!

  • Chuck & Annika's basement apartment was perfect for my trip needs. It is centrally located to all the "hip" neighborhoods & restaurants of SE PDX, and it was easy to find street parking every night. The apartment itself is clean and well thought-out for guests. I'd definitely recommend staying here. Thanks again Chuck & Annika.

  • Having never been to Portland and not knowing which neighborhoods were the best ones to stay in, I have to say that I nailed it with this one! Chuck and Annika's apartment was perfect in so many ways. Great location to restaurants, a block from the bus line, nicely appointed, very contemporary and comfortable. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

  • Absolutely fantastic apartment in a great location, with excellent street food and restaurants within easy walking distance. Lots of on street free parking always available. Spotlessly clean, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Two adults and two teenage boys slept really well in the comfy beds and the built in shower was fantastic. Netflix was great to chill out to after a busy day. Chuck and Annika are great hosts that you can trust and we would definitely book again.

  • Sari’s place is very attractive, comfortable, super clean, with thoughtful architecture, and is located in a beautiful early 20th century neighborhood of Portland a few blocks from a rose garden with a great cafe on the edge of it. It’s a quiet neighborhood yet close enough to commercial districts and entertainment venues so that those locations can be easily accessed. Sari is very responsive but respects your privacy. For a place to stay in Portland, it’s an excellent choice.

  • My husband and I had a fabulous stay at Jodi's place. The studio is in a perfect location- great neighborhood, a couple of blocks from Broadway (with all the wonderful restaurants and cafes), a few blocks from the Max. I was there for a conference, which was at a hotel a few blocks from the studio so I could walk there and back every day. Really, I can't imagine a better place to stay when visiting Portland, OR. The place was as described, clean, and stocked with all the essentials. I was so happy to find that the studio has internet because I had to work early in the mornings and late at night to prepare for the daily conference meetings. Great place, accommodating host, and fantastic city. Highly recommend staying here when you visit Portland. Thanks for everything, Jodi!

    Amarilis2015-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • I was in town for 4 nights to attend a conference at the Oregon Convention Center. I chose Jodi's place based on its proximity, along with the price. I was not disappointed. The apartment was about half a mile from the nearest MAX stop and about a mile from the Convention Center. The surrounding neighborhood included plenty of restaurants and bars/breweries. As for the space itself, I felt that it had everything I needed and that it was excellent for the value. I would definitely consider staying again the next time I'm in Portland.

    Grant2018-07-01T00:00:00Z
  • We had such a wonderful time! Jodi’s bnb was cute and perfect for what we needed! I was able to keep leftovers from the amazing restaurants and cook then back up in the kitchen! It was perfectly located to an adorable area of town that reminds me of Asheville North Carolina mixed with a little of the artsy districts of San Fran. Very close to all major public transit lines, which we used throughout our stay. Quick to downtown and surrounding areas, including the airport. If we weren’t soon to become Portland residents we would absolutely stay here again and I recommend this spot for anyone who wants to enjoy the city while coming home to a quiet neighborhood. Thank you Jodi!

    Nina & Kayla2018-04-12T00:00:00Z
  • My boyfriend and I loved our stay at Jodi's apartment! We had never been to Portland before and found the location excellent to support all our exploring! Bus stops very close and barely a 10 minute bus ride to downtown. Neighbourhood is quaint and mainly residential but with multiple streets of businesses, restaurants and cafes just a couple streets away. The apartment had all the basics needed for a lovely weekend away.

    Kaylee2016-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • Jodi was friendly and professional. She answered our questions in a timely manner while respecting our privacy. The listing description was accurate, and the location was great (we had a car). We felt safe and only occasionally heard the neighbors. The place looked and smelled a bit old, the bed was uncomfortable, and the room was dusty, but overall it was a nice stay, especially for the price.

    Brandon2015-07-04T00:00:00Z

    Giovanni2018-08-16T00:00:00Z
  • Great stay, Jodi was very understanding

    Lu2018-07-04T00:00:00Z
  • Nice place-we didn't cook any meals, but seems like a nice place if you want to do some cooking. Everything was comfortable and as described. The apartment was a couple of blocks from the light rail, but was a little farther from all of the neighborhoods that we wanted to visit than I had originally thought.

Magic Barn, circa 1936, former sculpture studio restored by community artists with old growth barn wood, up-cycled furnishings, kitchen, claw foot bath, baby amenities, with a sculpture garden. Centrally located in the heart of a charming restaurant and boutique district; 3 blocks to both SE Hawthorne and Division St. 15 minutes to both the airport and downtown, there are 4 bus stops and rental bikes within 3 blocks, and ample street parking on our block. Natural cleaning products only.
Built with Love! Cannabis is legal in Oregon. You are welcome to responsibly smoke tobacco and cannabis outside only. There are many dispensaries within walking distance. We are permitted by the city of Portland to host ten guests total at a time at the Magic Barn and The Magic House which are adjacent. If you are a group of more than two, please send us an inquiry to see if we can accommodate your group. Family amenities are available upon request: portable crib, baby bath, high chair, etc. From 2000 to 2015 the Magic Barn was Todji's sculpture studio. Most of the sculptures in the sculpture garden were designed right here and are exhibited for everyone to experience. When Todji first moved into the main house as a renter, the Magic Barn was just an empty crooked shed with no electricity, water or heat and it was filled with trash. Todji purchased the old neglected rental in 2004 when self-employed artists could get a loan. After fifteen years of restoring the main house, while building a career as a sculptor, Todji and Gisele decided to convert the sculpture studio into a "Magic Barn" to host travelers and guests such as yourself! During the summer of 2015 Todji designed and built the Magic Barn with the talented carpenters and fine art painters Theo Holdt and TJ Ravenwolf. The interior wood siding are salvaged old growth barn planks, and the ceiling is made of the original 1936 rafters and sheathing. TJ’s painting is hanging above the couch. TJ is native American from the Alaskan tribes of Koyukon Athabaskan and Muscogee Creek. TJ collected all of the natural pigments in the painting from all around Oregon in prayer, and his prayer in painting now graces the Magic Barn. Todji and Gisele have taken on the profession of being Airbnb "Artist Inn Keepers" to help support the cultivation of their artistic practices, and to share their creative work with you. Todji and Gisele produce public art bronze sculpture monuments for US cities which you may already have seen, or that you may see one day, please feel free to take a postcard home and visit their sculpture website.
The Magic Barn is centrally located in one of the most charming and hip neighborhoods in Portland. With the center of both SE Hawthorne and SE Division St within 3 blocks, there is an abundance of restaurants, boutique browsing, grocery stores, neighborhood strolling, and park hiking options within walking distance. See a movie, or just step in to witness the beautiful and iconic McMenamin's Bagdad theater, accompanied by an incredible restaurant/bar/pool hall in the back called the "Back Stage Bar", at SE 37th and Hawthorne. It will give you a feel for classic Portland! We are minutes from Mt Tabor park which has a lovely forest with walking trails sitting upon a dormant volcano, and we are 45 minutes to the spectacular 600 foot tall Multnomah waterfall in the gorgeous Columbia River Gorge scenic area. Division is the new up and coming Southeast neighborhood. With lots of modern architecture, new restaurants and shops you will get a feel for the freshest vibe Portland has to offer. Here is a list to get you started: Restaurants: (The options are endless but here are a few popular favorites!) Serving Food Late - Sapphire Hotel at 50th and Hawthorne, Romantic and sexy atmosphere- great for late night drinks and gourmet bar food. Stumptown Coffee Roasters- 45th and Division, Classic Great Portland Coffee Trinket- One block away on Lincoln and 39th, great for Brunch with their locally sourced eggs!) Harlow- 36th and Hawthorne, Hip and Healthy, great for lunch, or fresh veggie juice. Por Que No- 46th and Hawthorne, Wildly popular Mexican with a great playful decor. (Don’t be intimidated by the line, you order at the counter, and then get a seat and your order will be out in no time) Pok Pok- 32nd and Division, There are literally 11 Thai restaurants in walking distance, but Pok Pok is the best. Began as a food cart, but grew into a Restaurant Empire. Worth the wait. Bollywood Theater- 30th and Division, Indian food small plates. Also along line but worth it! Salt and Straw- 33rd and Division, Food Networks top five ice creams! Super Popular! Lauretta Jeans- 34th and Division, Breathtaking Pies! Tidbit Food Cart Pod, 28th and Division, Fabulous food cart selection, lots of seating, including a beer garden and vintage clothing bus. A truly Portland experience. Hiking: The website of "Friends of the Columbia Gorge" has detailed information about many hikes in the scenic and nearby Columbia River Gorge. It is a 45 minute drive from here to enter the gorge. Below are the names of hikes that we love and recommend. Check the website to find a hike with a distance and fitness level that suits you. For those who are visiting the gorge for the first time, I recommend visiting the most spectacular, and also the most touristicated, 600 foot Multnomah Falls. For those who want a challenging half day hike you can begin at Multnomah Falls and hike a loop called the Franklin Ridge Loop. Multnomah Falls /Franklin Ridge Loop Eagle Creek Angels Rest Bridal Veil Falls Triple Falls Wahkeena Falls Groceries, Pharmacy and Shopping: New Seasons- Local Health Food Store (40th and Hawthorne) Fred Meyers- Local Department/Grocery store (Cesar Chavez and Hawthorne) Rite Aid Pharmacy- Drugstore/pharmacy (Cesar Chavez and Division) Powell’s Books- A smaller version of Portland’s famous Bookstore (37th and Hawthorne) Gold Door- Wonderful Imports from around the world (37th and Hawthorne) Enjoy!

  • We had an excellent stay in the magic barn! Todji and Gisele's suggestion on local food and drink spots was right on! The barn had wonderful character and charm. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

  • The Magic Barn is a gem! Great location (if you don't mind being off a busy street) and very comfortable and beautiful room. The Barn is small but comfortable and has everything you need for a couple.

  • Perfect. Magical. Private. Inviting. Warm. Happy. Cozy. Comfortable. Clean. Stimulating. Love. Home. To stay here may begin as just a place to sleep for the night but the moment you open the gate to the backyard, you are transported to a wonderful destination to adore. Enveloped in art. Every square inch is a pleasure to behold. We were so happy to be greeted like long lost friends with real heartfelt hugs from both of our hosts. As soon as you walk into the Magic Barn you know, you're staying in a work of art and love. It was impeccable. What an honor. We came and went as we pleased. We took hot showers. We brewed hot coffee from the french press. We discovered all the beautiful art. We wrote in the guest book and left a tiny trinket for the silver box. We didn't want to leave. This adventure made our travels more enchanting than we had hoped for. We will always remember the wonderful times at the Magic Barn. Thank you Todji and Gisele.

  • What a great location! These houses are as cute as they seem. Passersby would stop and take a photo if we were standing on the porch. A car stopped and said "Hey, are these those mini-houses I've read so much about?" Anyway, they're nice. A great value. Rick is a good, responsive host.

  • We had a wonderful stay at the little pink house! It is in such a perfect area with awesome places to eat and drink within walking distance. Everything was set up perfectly for our arrival and check in was a breeze. I would highly recommend staying here!

    Madison2016-03-30T00:00:00Z
  • Rick was very quick in communicating with us and provided all necessary info. The location is great and the bed was, surprisingly, super comfortable! We were disappointed to find a few items in need of repair. The cracked toilet seat lid and standing water in the shower (slow drain) made it a little bit harder to feel at home here, but a fine stay overall.

    Katie2017-04-24T00:00:00Z
  • Such a great place! Has everything you need and was actually quite spacious. Very clean, organized and the bed was incredibly comfortable! Cute neighborhood, had no trouble finding parking. Only downside was the WiFi wasn't strong enough to stream video, but I fell fast asleep in that comfy bed!

Lovely 2 br. cottage nestled beside a pond w water feature. Kitchen, open sleeping loft with skylights, bath w shower and washer/dryer. Lots of natural light. Can accommodate an entire family comfortably. Private entry on lg. lot through gated backyard.
Nestled in the back corner of a large lot under the canopy of a beautiful mimosa tree, this private cottage offers a full kitchen with sit-up bar, a full bath with a washer/dryer, and a sleeping loft with crow's nest. It's perfect for a couple, two couples, or a small family.
And all of this just 15 minutes from downtown.

  • We had such a pleasant stay! The cottage is even more lovely in person and is spacious and comfortable. The pond and backyard make you feel like your in the country when your really only a 5-10 minute walk from lots of great restaurants and bars. Thank you for a great stay Jack and Cris!

  • The cottage was in a beautiful setting and was perfect for my husband and me plus my sister who claimed the upstairs room. The location was convenient for walking to fun dining and we always found parking right out front. Would definitely stay again. Thanks!

  • The Serene Cottage was really a quiet oasis in a nice neighborhood with wonderful plantings. We were greeted daily by three friendly cats. Jack and Cris were good hosts.

Private and Modern. Studio bungalow sleeps three with full kitchen and bathroom. Laundry en suite makes this a great space. Located through a fenced yard. Conveniently located near MLK and a short walk to Killingsworth andAlberta streets.
  • Eduardo's property was amazing and had everything we needed. The kitchen was definitely useful for prepping our food for our camping trip right after!

  • The place was very clean, modern and comfortable. Washer and dryer were a nice surprise, as was the bottle of wine waiting for me. Eduardo communicated quickly and was quite pleasant in all our interactions. I highly recommend staying here.

  • This place was perfect! It was immaculately clean and really didn't skimp on the details. Close to some great restaurants and shops. I would recommend it to anyone!

  • This home was new, modern and simply amazing. Access to the Alberta district was cwithin a few block and we so enjoyed the stay.

  • Loved the space and the location! It's very modern and clean. The bed was really comfortable and there were four pillow options so that was lovely. My only suggestions are to bring an eye mask if you want to sleep in because there are no blinds in the large upper window and bring an iPad for music or tv. I will definitely want to stay here the next time I visit Portland - thank you!!!

Getting to Benjamin and Kristi's place was super easy and the area ended up being walking distance from the places I needed to get to. I didn't get to meet the hosts but everything was laid out very clearly and they were very easy to get in contact with. Kristi even gave some great recommendations for breakfast around the area, which was much appreciated. The place was simple, clean, and super cute! Would definitely recommend staying here :)

The Magic Barn was a lovely stay. We arrived and it was warm, clean, and cozy. An extra mattress was provided and both the mattress and the bed were very comfortable. Great neighborhood. Easy to communicate with owners but left to our privacy! Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for three nights at the South Tabor Cottage. It was a great home base for us to have while we explored the city. It was very clean and had everything we needed. This was our first AirBnB. Our host, Lisa, was very friendly and her breakfast was amazing! We are looking to move to Portland, and she gave us advice on where to house hunt and what we could expect as far as pricing/neighborhoods. We would definitely recommend the South Tabor Cottage. Just outside the city in a great neighborhood.
