  • I had to get in early and leave really early to get home bcak in time and Danielle had everything ready when I got there so I could go right to sleep and be on my way! Great time there both times!

  • Danielle and her family made me feel very welcome. The room with a loft was extremely comfortable. I'd stay again.

    Brett2014-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Danielle's loft was great. The room and bed were comfortable. Because the bathroom is shared with the house, just know that the bathroom is located on the opposite side of the house.

  • We enjoyed the garden tour and seeing the rabbits, chickens and turkeys. The coffee was delicious. Danielle seems to be a kind host, with much to offer; but this is a busy house, with much going on. The pocket neighborhood is on the edge of an industrial area.

  • Great stay with Danielle and her lovely children. Welcomed with a cup and tea, and when we came back from dinner she had lit a fire in our room. Comfortable room and delicious pancake breakfast. Would recommend to anyone - Thanks Danielle!

  • We arrived quite late near midnight and Danielle was there to greet us. Room was comfortable and looks like the picture. We were delighted to see the garden with turkeys, chicken, rabbit etc. Danielle is lovely and friendly!

  • Great experience! Danielle let us know some good places to eat once we got there, and she made us a delicious breakfast in the morning. It was the perfect place for our quick stop in Albuquerque on the way to California.

    Allison2012-09-09T00:00:00Z
  • Danielle's place is perfect! She is a great hostess and was friendly through messages! Unfortunately, we arrived too late and left to early, so we didn't get a chance to meet her. Everything you need is close by and you even have a sink in a small room next to the bedroom. The only thing that isn't right next to you is the bathroom, but it's only a few rooms away!! Thank you again for letting us spend the night, Danielle! Tenisha and Ryan

Our place is close to art, culture, and dining at the Historic Old Town; Museums, zoo, botanical gardens, Hispanic Cultural Center, Rio Grande Nature Center, hiking trails along the Rio Grande River, and downtown are all just a short drive away. Balloon Fiesta is 20 minutes away. The University of New Mexico and the airport are 15 minutes away. You will have your own private space with a shaded back yard patio. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
The cottage is a separate 500 sq ft. building behind the main house. It is very roomy and private. The space includes a full bedroom with a door for extra privacy, a dining area, living area, kitchenette, pantry, and bathroom. It is listed for 3 people, however besides the queen size bed and fold down futon couch, there is a futon ottoman that is good for a shorter person to stretch out on. The queen size bed is extremely comfortable and made with natural materials. We use all natural cleaning products and pride ourselves on offering a healthy environment for our guests. There is organic coffee, half n half, and tea available. There is a sitting area out on the deck under a magnificent Mulberry tree.
This is a city residential neighborhood. The area has usual city ambient noise such as children, dogs, traffic, and even a rooster. We are on a dead end street that is typically quiet in the night time sleeping hours. There is a grocery store within easy walking distance. The Rio Grande river is close by on Bridge. There is easy parking on the south side of the street and a hiking and bike trail available.
  • Great Little secluded private cozy place. An Uber ride away from downtown and the airport!

    Irene2018-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, comfortable, and quiet stand-alone guesthouse in Janet's backyard. It was easily accesible and served as good base to explore the city. FYI, we found a great coffee shop downtown-Expresso Fino. The coffee is delicious and they custom make each order!

    Victoria2018-03-31T00:00:00Z
  • The place is really private and checking in was really easy. Janet was away when we stayed at her place but it was very easy to communicate with her. Getting to the cottage was easy and very accessible. Janet even left a list of places to go to in Albuquerque which we greatly appreciate because it's our first time in the city and we wanted suggestions from locals on good food and sights. Overall, our stay at the cottage was very comfortable.

    Beatriz2017-07-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is exactly what I was looking for - clean, quiet, comfortable, and hassle-free. The kitchenette was perfect for my needs and she even provided coffee and creamer. If I'm ever back in Albuquerque this will be the first place I try to book.

    Brent2017-03-10T00:00:00Z
  • Janet's little bungalow was wonderful to stay in, cute and quant!

    Joy2016-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • This was a quaint, cozy, and peaceful little abode with lots of privacy. I would highly recommend this to those who enjoy serenity!

    Ronald2017-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • My wife and I just needed a place to crash before our early flight out of Albuquerque. Janet's place fit the bill. Easy check-in and the cottage suited our needs. Not the part of town to hang out in as far as restaurants and other amenities go, but Janet's place was clean, private, inexpensive and a quick drive to the airport .

  • Cozy and comfortable spot! The location was near a good amount of places to eat, drink and relax. We enjoyed the stay overall. Accurate pictures and an amazing host!

    Aaron2016-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • The check in process was very easy thanks to Kelly's great communication. The house is in a great location and is very clean and homely inside. We loved staying here. Kelly has created a guide of things to see and do which was a great help for us, we were very appreciative of this. There are restaurants, diners and bars just walking distance and everything else is just a short drive away. We couldn't be happier with Kelly's place. Highly recommend!

    Will2017-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Navigation from airport and parking were easy. Small place, but provides everything one needs for a quick business trip; well appointed. Air conditioner was a bit loud but I slept like a rock. Bed was comfortable. Much needed iron and ironing board rescued my wrinkled clothes. Small perk, but I really enjoyed having HBO GO on the tv. Kelly provided quick and clear communications which were very much appreciated. If I come back to ABQ I'll stay here again if it's available.

    Brandon2017-09-07T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place, close to everything. The house is well equipped, clean and the extra attention to details like additional cue tips, razors, etc shows that the owner has put that extra bit of thought into taking care of travellers. Communication was excellent too - clear, concise, but without being intrusive. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Albuquerque next.

    Paul2017-05-25T00:00:00Z
  • Great space with great proximity to food, coffee shops, and more! After a long road trip it really made us happy to find a washing machine! So helpful. We loved staying here and it was very thoughtful interior design.

    Christopher2018-02-02T00:00:00Z
  • Had a wonderful stay at Kelly's place. Checkin was a breeze and the apartment had everything we need for a comfy stay. Will definitely stay here again! Thanks for a great visit!

Come and enjoy Albuquerque, and take in the sunshine, beautiful blue skies, and landscape of Central New Mexico. Our Casita is perfectly situated in the Old Town/Downtown area and is within walking distance to great restaurants, museums, and cafes.
Our casita is fully equipped and will provide comfort and privacy for you during your stay. All new construction with thought and efficiency in mind. Come relax in your home away from home. Walk to Old Town and take in over 400 years of history. Albuquerque Museum of Art, New Mexico Bio Park, Explora, and natural history museums are close by. Great choices in restaurants and shops are nearby and access to freeway is within five minutes. Our neighborhood lies within the historical Forrester/8th St. District with its charming turn of the century Queen Anne and bungalow houses and were voted best neighborhood by the Albuquerque Alibi. We love our neighborhood and everyone in it! Come and be a part of it. We love our neighborhood! Great neighbors who we actually spend time with and help out whenever it's needed. It's a great community of friends. We are also part of the "LYFT" community of providing fun and affordable rides around town at very affordable rates. We are close to the airport, and Bus transit, and bike trails are close by. "Routes" bike rentals is also available a few blocks away if renting is your wish. Plenty of free parking is available on our street, and we typically allow our guest to park in our driveway. Wireless password is (phone number hidden)s) and is under the fuzzy pants network. We have a $15.00 cleaning fee for pets. We love pets and are happy to have them, but an extra fee is necessary to insure that a thorough cleaning is performed for guests following who may have animal allergies. We also offer a $10.00 per hour early check-in, or late check-out fee. (3 hr. Maximum in most cases).

  • We had a great time in Ken & Lisa's Old Town Casita. It was private and cozy. Walkable to Old Town and several local eateries/coffee spots. It was super hot when we were there so the AC was appreciated. Ken was very responsive. Communication was great. Check in/out was super easy. Thanks again for a great stay!

  • Very friendly host, very accommodating, and the house is very comfortable. Great location in ABQ, I would defiantly recommend to anyone that is considering this host.

    Eric2015-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Casita was great. Parking spot was great. Pups were great. Much better than hotel. A huge perk is that the casita is its own building.

    Steven2015-10-31T00:00:00Z
  • Ken was a very hospitable host and the place was very comfortable. Great little spot to stay over while in Albuquerque. Highly recommended to all.

    Jarret2014-11-26T00:00:00Z
  • I contacted Ken rather late in the day for a stay that same evening. He responded right away and let me know how to get in and suggested I park in his driveway for the night (nice!). The home is just as described with lots of nice touches: A comfy couch in the main room with easy and fast WiFi. Cute kitchen and some locally roasted coffee for the French press were a bonus. Perfect for a couple or two and easy to locate just off of I-40. It's a nicer neighborhood that looks like it's up and coming with many re-modeled homes nearby. Try the Panaderia round the corner for some good bread and tasty N.M. pizza.

    Tom2015-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • Great host! Awesome place and a plus was a cute puppy that came to greet us!

    Chelsea2016-04-21T00:00:00Z
  • The cottage was wonderful with great examples of the vibrant art scene in Northern New Mexico in every room. Ken is a wonderful host. We look forward to returning.

    Jackie2016-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • We actually felt right at home. Ken and Lisa were very friendly, while also giving us lots of privacy even while sharing their very relaxing back yard. We spent a lot of our time outside enjoying the warm days and pleasant evenings in the quiet neighborhood. The house was cozy and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We would definitely stay there again if we were back in town.

Alex and her husband were very gracious hosts and my husband and I enjoyed our memorial weekend stay very much. The Casita was comfortable and clean and just perfect for a couple to have a nice relaxing weekend. The bed was very comfortable too. The patio door opens to the back yard and the breeze was just perfect so there was no need for the cooler. We used the grill out back and it was great. The Casita is very close to UNM, downtown and easy access to the Interstate, grocery stores and shopping. There was a problem with the hot water heater the second day so they reimbursed us one night's stay which was their idea but much appreciated. I highly recommend the Casita if you are looking for a nice relaxing place to stay while in Albuquerque but don't want to hassle with eating out every meal and like the idea of a home away from home.

We had a fabulous time staying here. We only saw Mark the first day when he was letting us into the cottage, but that was because we didn't need anything. The place was perfect - clean, stocked, and secluded. Next time we're in town we will definitely try and stay here again.

Leticia is an outstanding host. My arrival was delayed almost 3 hours and she was waiting for me until midnight.
