    Our Penthouse Studio offers a spacious open plan room, suitable for a single person, couple, family (including babies) and business travellers. Balcony overlooking the fabulous Hinterland views of Brisbane, the entire studio is exclusively yours. ☺ Apartment size: 80m2 Large balcony: with outdoor al fresco dining area. This is an open plan space with the option of a king size bed or 2x single beds. With 2x fold out sofa chair beds and a fold out bed are available for extra persons at an extra cost. Please note: this is more suitable for a family with 3 kids or teenagers. As it can become a bit crowded with 5 adults. But if you all are happy to save $$$, this could be an ideal arrangement. Guests have access to DVD player with DVDs. We also have DVDs suitable for children. For a family with infants and toddlers. I do charge $20 for the use of a Portacot, includes bedsheets and blankets. Please let me know if you wish to have this option so I can set it up prior to your arrival. But if you wish to set up the Portacot yourself and put away, then there is no charge or if your children are sleeping with you. We can set up a play tent upon request. I have a baby bath tub for your convenience. Ceiling fan in lounge space and in bedroom space with remote controls for extra comfort. Kitchenette - stand alone cooktop and stove - microwave - toaster - sandwich maker - jug - coffee plunger - pots, pans, utensils, crockery and more. My building is a hotel/apartment. There is a restaurant at Lobby level, open only for breakfast and serves continental breakfast during weekdays or there is Cafe 63 down the road (3mins walk). Bathroom - bath and hand towels - shampoo & conditioner - body wash - hairdryer. My Wifi is good enough for checking emails and for quick browsing. If you need a fast and great connection and needing it for work then this listing might not be for you. I have a suction grab bar for you to use to assists your balance while entering or exiting the shower. There are no steps in the apartment. Housekeeping is available at an added cost $25. This can be organised during your stay.

The location is great and it really is a penthouse apartment with tremendous views. Only about a 10/15 minute walk to get down to Southbank or the free ferries to go over to the main part of the city. Will definitely consider when coming to Brisbane if its near our next event/function.

    My one bedroom apartment in West End is right next to Boundary Street, with bars, eateries and supermarkets all within walking distance. The space is light and airy, with a new air conditioner, kitchen and bathroom, queen size bed and small patio to chill out on before heading out. Public transport is less than a minute's walk and South Bank and the museums are a ten/fifteen minute walk. There is a parking spot and I am happy for you to have your furry friend stay too.

  • A must stay! I don't think you'll be able to find a better apartment in West End! If you want a cozy place to stay in the cultural heart of Brisbane than look no further. Incredibly affordable, super comfortable, very clean, with all the essentials (kitchen, aircon, wifi) and just around the corner from the Boundary Street Markets! Dave was an excellent and accomodating host - very helpful and was able to answer any and all questions we had. He also let us extend our stay and check in that little bit earlier so we had more time to spend in the city. Such a great experience - I will definitely be staying again!

    Small, self-contained, air-conditioned guest suite with private entry. Host family lives upstairs, you live downstairs. You have your own space with a modern private ensuite and private keyed entry. A small well-equipped kitchenette with your own mini-bar fridge is available in the adjacent laundry. You may need to share this kitchenette with a guest staying in our other room. Free use of bicycles included; easy access to CBD and Southbank via designated bikeway (no sharing road with cars!).
    Small recently renovated self-contained air-conditioned suite. You have your own private entrance and key to come and go as you please from your own private space. The room has its own modern private ensuite (not shared) and you also have access to a separate kitchenette which is in the adjacent laundry (see pictures!). This "micro apartment" is located downstairs underneath a high-set classic Queenslander style house only 3 km from the Brisbane CBD. We live upstairs and will offer you assistance and hospitality if that is what you want, or total privacy if that is what you prefer. You can freely come and go as you please with your own key to your own private and self-contained accommodation. The local area is well-served by public transport. The Brisbane airtrain travelling to the Gold Coast from Brisbane airport provides you with a direct link to our place. You get off at Park Road Railway station which is a 10 minute walk from our place. Pick up from the train station can be arranged if your arrival in Brisbane is at a convenient time to us. Or we can email you a map with clear instructions to walk here and let yourselves in. We accept will make every effort to allow for 24 hour check in (e.g. during the day when we are both at work, or even in the middle of the night) by making arrangements that enable you to collect your key and let yourself into your room without needing our assistance. However, due to past experience (our dog escaping when guests left gate open costing us $208 to retrieve him from the dog pound!), we require clear communication between you and us via airbnb messaging before we confirm any arrangements for you to check in without us being here!!) The room has two single folding Ikea sofa beds, which can also be configured into a queen size bed fitted with Queen sheets if you are travelling as a couple. You will need to tell us BEFORE YOUR ARRIVAL if you want the beds made up as two single beds rather than a double bed. The kitchenette (see photo) with a mini-bar fridge and a microwave is located separately in our laundry, right next to your room. There is also a toaster, a mini electric frypan, single electric hotplate and an electric kettle along with a espresso coffee machine (coffee pods provided by us) and a set of basic crockery and cutlery. You may have to share this space with a student staying in our other room. A 'start up kit' of of basic breakfast supplies (cereal, milk and your choice of yogurt, orange juice or two minute noodles) plus tea bags and espresso coffee pods can be provided on requestt for you in the kitchenette for your convenience if you have no time or energy to locate shops when you first arrive. We supply breakfast supplies for guests for first morning only and can give you instructions on where to get groceries once your "start up supplies" run out. There is a TV with built in DVD player in your room. WiFi internet will work easily in your room, even though modem is upstairs in our house. No off street parking available. If you have a car, we can provide you with a resident's guest parking permit to be displayed on the dashboard of your car which will prevent you from getting a parking ticket if your car is parked in our street for more than 2 hours between the hours of 9 am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Just let us know that you will need this before you arrive. There will be a $20 security deposit required for the parking permit which will be returned when you give the permit back on your day of departure. We offer bicycles (2) free of charge with a bicycle lock also supplied - if you would like to explore inner Brisbane in this way. There are scenic bike rides along the nearby Brisbane River and Kangaroo Point cliffs which you can access using the bikeway system (no on road riding needed). We can give you information about the Brisbane bikeway system - maps etc - if this is your interest. We also have an e-bike as well as regular bicycles. Please ask in advance if you want to use the e-bike. We actually live in a great spot for cycling enthusiasts who might be interested in exploring inner Brisbane via bicycle. You're welcome to use our front-loading washing machine to catch up with laundry while here. Just let us know so we don't end up needing to both do laundry at the same time! This accommodation is quite small but it is modern, private, and separate/self-contained from our family's living space upstairs. It is therefore especially suited for people who might prefer the feeling of privacy provided by self-contained accommodation rather than having to share a bathroom or living space with others, but who might also travelling on a tight budget making a normal studio apartment too expensive. The cleaning fee of $20 includes your fresh linen and towels, first morning breakfast supplies (teabags, milk, breakfast cereal, yoghurt, orange juice, coffee) to cover you for the first day or so. We supply coffee pods for the espresso machine. However, the deal is that from Day 2 onward, after we have given you info re local shops etc, you supply your own breakfast. Ask us if you would like to borrow umbrellas . . . hopefully not required!! We have recently done a home renovation. The "inside" renovation, including your space, is complete but some of the "outside" is not yet finished. As you can see from the photos the house still has no front steps or front fence and we still need to do the landscaping in the front garden. But this does not affect the privacy, amenity or cleanliness of your accommodation. In the past, we have had home stay students from overseas stay with us. Persons from overseas countries, with English as a second language or from different cultural backgrounds especially welcomed. We have hosted people immigrating to Australia who have used our room as their first base as they find their way and settle in to a new country. We enjoy cultural exchange and learning. We seek to offer a special type of true hospitality to those who specifically ask for it. [Matthew 25:35-40] The option of joining us for dinner on our "deck" - Australian for "outdoor living room" - is available. This would need to be by discussion - depends on your dietary requirements and whether we can easily cater for them (We are not vegetarians - but eat vegetarian food at least twice per week and vegetarians can be easily catered for).     Close to the city and CBD, with a good variety of cheap places to eat out if you have the information you need to find them, an area which is now suddenly experiencing urban renewal/gentrification on a big scal(URL HIDDEN) An Uber ride into the CBD is typically only $10, to the Southbank tourist precinct maybe even less than $10. Get the Uber app on your phone.

  • We had a lovely stay here while we explored Brisbane. We were able to use the free bikes which made it easier to get around, and even managed to bike up to Mt Coot Tha. Fiona was lovely and gave us lots of information about the city and our local surroundings. The room is very big and bright, the ensuite is very modern and sophisticated. We loved the shower! We would definitely stay here again if we ever come back to Brisbane.

Surrounded by great shopping, cafes, restaurants and landmarks!

  • Nice room with a great view in a fantastic location. Comfy bed. You can use the hotel facilities, including the gym and pool. The room was listed as a five-star hotel but it is not. It is listed on Star Ratings Australia as a 4-star hotel. Based on the listing, I was expecting the hotel to be swankier than it actually was, so I was a bit disappointed. It was fine for a 4-star hotel though. Quick and easy check-in and good communication. Tea and coffee are provided, along with shampoo and body wash. Good wifi. Cleanliness was slightly below par.

    Situated in the Water's Edge complex at West End, which is 3k's from Brisbane CBD the quiet riverfront location offers direct access to walking, jogging and cycle tracks, parkland spaces, weekend food markets and everything else West End has to offer. Also situated within the complex is a gym, library, gardens with both a lagoon and 25m heated infinity edge pool, plus BBQ pavilion's., with security access throughout.
    The apartment is on the ground floor and overlooks the gardens with views to the river. Your own private bedroom, has a king size bed, with high quality linens, your own TV with Netflix, an alarm clock, two side tables with lamp's, shelving, sliding door wardrobes, a chest of drawers, Reverse cycle (cooling or heating) Air-conditioning, as well as a Ceiling Fan with lighting and a remote control You also have your own private bathroom, which is complete with shower, toilet, and amenities, such as a hair dryer, shampoo, body wash, hand soap etc., and soft towels, including one to go to the pool with. All bed linen and towels are included as well as your own dedicated and secured WiFi internet access. For those of you whom are flying into Brisbane airport, from interstate or overseas, airport transfers are generally only available on weekends and not Monday to Friday, please let us know your travel plans once you have them finalised, especially if your potentially arriving very early or very late. And for those of you arriving by car, we can provide secure underground parking for the duration of your stay, we will just need a heads up on that please prior to your arrival, so we can make arrangements.
    We are close to the west end markets, and the pubs and eateries of boundary road (which is the main drag through Eclectic West End) is an easy 15 min walk or 8 min Uber :-) There's an Aldi store 5 mins away, or a "night Owl" recently opened across the road from the complex. But if your preference is coffee and bagels, there's one nearby over in vulture street, or if seafood is your Achilles heel, then there's "sea fuel" also around the corner in Vulture Street. The all important morning "heart starter" coffee can be had by going across the road to cafe 63, which serves Campos coffee, or by walking up the road to the "Recycyle Cafe". If a cleansing ale or a decent glass of vino is more your forte, then the newly opened 'Montague hotel' on the corner of kurilpa street and montague road is the place to be, literally 3 mins walk from the apartment. Try their fresh grilled chicken chipotle salad, yummmm. We are also close to the South Bank Precinet, so Griffith and QUT campus's are easily accessible, as is Queensland University at St Lucia and QUT at Kelvin Grove. Additionally, the Modern Art Gallery, State library and Natural history museums are within easy access at SouthBank, as is the QPAC theater if you wish to catch a show. And for those of you attending conferences, the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Center is also close by and accessible by a number of methods, details of which are as follows: A. cycling - 12 mins B. walking - 30 mins C. bus - 15 mins D. self driving/uber - 10 mins
  • This was an incredible value for money stay, with airport pickup, maps, transit card and even an IPad provided for exploration, coffee and a variety of breakfast foods, pool and gym access, kitchen and free in-flat laundry access. Small room with big bed, TV and ceiling fan, interior to the hosts' flat with its own bathroom and zone, never felt intruded on. Steve and Micaele are super friendly and although I had other friends and colleagues in Brisbane to keep me busy, they showed me around one night. Location was excellent for my needs. The neighborhood is residential, quiet, with lots of new build high-rises. I was visiting UQ and there was a bus about 3-5 minutes walk away going straight to the St. Lucia campus every 30 minutes. The same stop has a more frequent bus going to the city centre. You can also walk 15 min to the ferry, or to clusters of restaurants on Hargreaves and Vulture streets.

Their apartment is so nice and super-clean, the room is very cozy with a great decoration and comfortable amenities, such as a remote controlled ventilation, air condition, your own TV and even an ipad four your personal use during your stay. The bed is also very big und comfortable. The absolute highlight for me was, what that they provided in their kitchen, I had my own space in the fridge, which was filled with a very nice and well-thought-out choice of breakfast food, juices etc. Loved the bagels :) Had everything for a great start into the day ! Same counts for your own personal bathroom, which was also super clean and modern. Location of the apartment is also great with a convenient walk to the next bus station or to the ferry station, where you have a direct connection to the CBD. Convenience store is literally across the street, if you need something. Always enjoyed having a walk along the river in the evenings or laying at the pool with a look at the river :) Steve and Micaele are the greatest hosts I ever met, they are such pleasant people, very hospitable and nice to talk to. Fristly, Steve and Micaele are the loveliest people you could meet and very welcoming right from beginning to end. The place overall is very well maintained and clean, kitchen facilities are excellent and you will never go hungry! The bedroom is very cozy with lots of cupboard and draw space for your items. The only downside is the bedroom has no window, but the balcony view and outdoor setting well and truly makes up for that! They can also provide undercover and secure parking. Would highly recommend this place for first time visitors, it's very close to the main street of west end and the city (10min bus ride) Will definitely stay here again in the future! :) :)

We're renovating a room at a time - the newer rooms have brand new VJ walls, new ceilings & light fixtures, freshly painted & brand new polished floors. The rooms we haven't got to yet are still very basic but we keep them clean and tidy.
    Settled alongside Yeerongpilly & the riverside suburb of Yeronga, Moorooka lays 7 kilometres (4.5 miles) south of the Brisbane CBD. Moorooka is boarded by the Toohey Forest and is surrounded by lush parklands including the Yeronga Memorial Park, Tarragindi Hill Reserve & Poinciana Park. Moorooka was originally settled as a stopover area between Logan & Ipswich and as a result is very centrally located to checking out those areas as well as exploring the city and beyond including the Sunshine Coast & Gold Coast.

Before I settled in, I had to clean my room, vacuuming carpet, dust shelves, wipe fridge, wipe windowsills and clean very dusty fan before using. Couldn't get rid of the dirty feet smell from carpet. Oldness of the house is fine but doesn't have to be unclean. I also cleaned the common bathroom which hadnt been cleaned for sometime. Kitchen was kept tidy. Plenty clean towels were supplied. Fridge in the room was a big plus. and clean.

  • Superhost(s) and charming house. John and his partner Cam are excellent hosts. Also got the chance to meet John's mum, Kaity, who was visiting from NSW, she gave me a lift to Goodna (near Ipswitch and back). John was always available for a chat in the mornings before leaving for work and showed me how to use the stove and washing machine. He and Cam are super hardworking and run their own business in the city. The house is clean and renovated inside (hope John has time to update pics as the current ones don't do the listing justice). There are two toilets and bathroom is perfect the tiles look like timber but are actual titles. All essentials are provided like towels, bed linen, washing detergent, dishwasher, washing machine, clothesline, toilet paper, etc included in the accommodation. The 100 express bus and the 125 bus stop outside the house to the city, though if you catch the 100 bus from city back to the house it stops 1 bus stop away from the house, buses run till 1230am on weeknights and 1130pm on weekends best place to catch the buses back from city is cultural centre or myer centre or stop 19 on Adelaide street. On my last day Cam gave me a lift to the airport (thanks Cam). Because the house is so comfortable feels like home, etc, there are two other housemates, who I saw once or twice during my stay as they are super busy. Service Station just a stones throw from the house, and shopping districts both two bus stops away in both directions (north/south from the house). Highly recommended for stays in Brisbane.

  • The best place I've ever stayed! It has everything you need! Towels, cloth hangers... etc and even a big private fridge! The environment was very clean and tidy. The location was very convenient, the bus stop was just right in front of the front door. Easy access to the Brisbane City and Sunnybank! The landlord was very kind and helpful too. The rent was relatively cheap compared to other places.     The place is very close to the City,public transport and family-friendly activities. Great central location with an easy walk to City, SouthBank Parklands, Brisbane river, Cultural Centre, museums and galleries. This modern studio is located in a secure, well maintained complex. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
    Property features include: -Kitchen with electric appliances (big fridge, cooktop, microwave), utensils, plates and cutlery -Good-sized bathroom with a washing machine (powder is provided) -Double bed, wardrobe, table, TV -Extra single mattress, linen, towels for third guest can be provided upon request.   • The house had 2 safety and security concerns. The first a broken window (which directly looked out to the building swimming pool) I contacted JC who promised to fix it and didnt. The second is the door on to the balcony did not have a key and was open, he said it would take 3 days to get it so too long for my stay. Very noisy location.

  • Good place to stay for the price! The bedroom was very nice and fairly spacious. It is conveniently in a complex with restaurants and grocery stores and very close to public transport, but also walking distance (~25) to CBD. There could be many people staying, so at times it can be tight for the bathroom and the cleanliness depends on the other people staying. J.C did a good job at keeping it clean though. Overall, I don't think you could find a better place for the cost!

    I am offering a small but cosy room with shared bathroom & WIFI. Room is air conditioned. The room is quite small, perfect for a light traveller, as pictured. Proper King Single mattress, small drawer, no window. The location is very convenient to the CBD of Brisbane. It is 2 blocks away from Queen Street Mall, QUT and is offered at unbeatable price. I love having guests and I will do all that I can to ensure you have a lovely stay at our place :)
    You can go to anywhere in the CBD by foot! The building is just right in the CBD. Close to anything, 5 mins walk to QUT Garden Point, 5 mins walk to Queen Street Mall - the busiest area of Brisbane CBD. The building offers free gym, pool and sauna. And, I offer you the best place with the most reasonable price for your travel :) Hope you feel like staying at home!

  • Bin’s place is super well located at the heart of the city but I wouldn’t recommend staying here for more than two nights. Bed is uncomfortable and the place wasn’t clean with bugs crawling both in the bathroom and in the room. The place is super small and I felt super uncomfortable using kitchen. Just wasn’t sure I could or not use. If you are looking just for a place to sleep Bin’s place is a cheap choice.

  • Thomas's apartment is in a great location only a few minutes walk from the amazing South Bank area. There's a couple of cafes by the building and a Brisbane City Council bike hire station about 2 minutes walk away. We had a great time. If, like us, you have a hire car you can park it in one of the visitor's spots in the car park. There are 4 hour visitors' spots (which we parked in overnight with no issue, and even all day on one day) and other "commercial" ones which are limited to 1 hour but are empty overnight.

    This is a cosy Art Deco apartment located in New Farm, an inner suburb in Brisbane. Please note that this listing is for a pull out sofa-bed in my living room. Suitable for solo female travelers who want a quiet, safe and clean place to rest their head, and someone who is always out and about during the day.
    This is a cozy Art Deco apartment in the heart of New Farm, minimalistic, Scandinavian-style, tastefully furnished with soft pink and rose gold hues. Bright and sunny living room with beautiful indoor plants! The pull-out sofa bed is located in the living room. During the night, the sofa is converted into a bed. During the day, the sofa is collapsed so that we get our living room to lounge. I provide clean linens, towels, pillow and blanket for my guests. In the bathroom you'll find that I've prepared toiletries such as shampoo, hair conditioner and shower gel. Hairdryer? Of course! Everything a girl needs for a comfortable night rest. High speed wifi is available. Even though this is a shared space, I value your comfort and privacy.
    My apartment is only 2km from Brisbane city. Close to New Farm park (5 mins walk), buses and Citycat ferry. You'll find everything you need close by. Coles supermarket is only 3 mins walk away, so are all the hip cafes and dining options that New Farm has to offer. Everything you could possibly need is a short stroll away. There's a bathroom in the apartment which is shared.

There are so many things to see and do locally. We are in a beautiful tree lined area of gorgeous houses in a beautiful pocket ('the prestigious' Teneriffe Hill) although so close to everything, it is surprisingly tranquil and quiet. We also have a beautiful fairly private park with city view and bush walks located just around the corner, it's a great place to chill out with free BBQ area and playground overlooking the natural landscape, the bush tracks show you some native Australian fauna and flora. River walks are near by and are a great way to get around as well. There's so much to do within this local vicinity (easy walk away) that you will be spoilt for choice. Set amongst plentiful award winning cafes, bars, markets, restaurants, bakeries, butchers, nightlife, arts centers and a huge selection of many different restaurants, all within an easy walk away. There are seven (large and small) supermarkets within a 15 minute Walking Distance There is plenty to do here, in fact, you can walk to many different local attractions and facilities. At the end of the block is a local market with cafe section which is worth a visit. In fact, walk in any direction and you are bound to stumble upon cafes and shops etc of a high standard. Literally a five minute walk is the City Cat Ferry stop (these are very converted in Brisbane) and are wonderful to take you peacefully into the CBD, while you stand on the back of a high powered Catamaran boat (from 6am til midnight) and take in the sights as you travel the Brisbane River (AKA the River City) There are also lots of other buses that leave from even closer to our location. Next to the City Cat stop are the express buses into the CBD (called 'City Glider') in under ten minutes in peak hour. There are also other buses even closer to our location. If you want to go into the CBD then you can easily get there (to drive in peak hour is 5 minutes) walk in 25 via the river and under the Story Bridge. Or, if you want to enjoy the local attractions, there are certainly plenty of them within a 15 minutes walk. Next to the City Cat stop is Vernon Terrace, which is populated with lots of bars, restaurants, cocktail and beer specialist places, definitely worth a look. At the City Cat stop we then have a River Walk that takes you across the top of the water down to New Farm Park, a beautiful park on the River, home to the fortnightly large Farmers Markets and the PowerHouse which is a funky converted building housing plays, comedy, bands, art, talks and so on. Also, about ten minutes walk from our place we have the brand new Gasworks complex, complete with large Grocery Store, an organic market, chocolate restaurant and great cafes and eateries and worth a mention. The amazing historic Waterloo Hotel has been reopened and is very popular. The bar/restaurant has an Art Deco feel and is great to enjoy. From the house in the other direction, we also have the famous James Street within a five minute walk. It is lined with things to see and do, including palace cinema, pizza place, bars, restaurants, clothes stores, boutiques, farmers markets, cafes. Definitely the place to be seen and get seen, Can get quite busy on the weekend and people from Brisbane flock to this area. Not only that, we also have 'The Emporium' which is close to us and is filled with wonderful restaurants of the highest quality and amazing boutiques and stores. You can also walk to Fortitude Valley, which is the night life and weekend market district, which also has China Town Mall where there is amazing Asian Restaurants at good prices. In Fortitude Valley, there is a pedestrian mall with 24 hour food places and all your usual take away places. There are also some great places to get $8 steaks with all the usual accompaniments so it's worth a look. The weekend markets are fun and there are a few '$2 shops' here as well if you need any basics including discount souvenirs. Brunswick Street, Connects to our street easily and is lined with restaurants, bars, art galleries, take away food, burger joints, IGA, Night Owl Convenience store open 24/7. Next to the intersection with Brunswick Street and Kent Street (Our street) is the outlook of the story bridge where you can enjoy the park and amazing view and also start the *short cut into the CBD* from our location, where you take the footpath direct, which goes under the Story Bridge itself and through to the center of the city via a River Walk (ten minutes from park) You can take the City Cat (five minutes walk from our place) to lots of great locations around Brisbane including the famed South bank which is really wonderful including a huge swimming pool and a man made beach as you look at the city skyline, surrounded by free BBQs, amazing parkland, performance center, art gallery, museum, science center, gallery of modern art and state library, it's easy to catch the city cat back to here and it's open really late. Also, don't forget the FREE inner city Ferry! If you have any need to know a place to eat, just ask us. We also have a huge amount of menus out for your to look at (as well as brouchers of things to do) so be sure to check them out. There are wonderful getaways with an 1 hour or so's drive....and beautiful day trips to think about: options include dolphins, islands, rainforests, beaches, swimming and more. If there is something particular you would like to do be sure to mention it to us as we may have some insider info for you. The easiest train is Brunswick St Station (Fortitude Valley) which is where the night life is, this is one of the central major stops meaning you can go in pretty much any direction from here via train (including the Gold Coast, Roma Street Bus Terminal and The Airports) The train to the airport is a special train and is $16/each. If you would like a lift to the airport it can be arranged for $30. These local places I've mentioned are so close, if you aren't walking there, you are looking at around a $5 - $10 taxi COOKING You get to cook for yourself and enjoy the top of the line kitchen with granite benchtops and everything you will need to cook. Not to mention the BBQ on the large upper deck and the second outdoor garden BBQ equipped with party lights and music facilities and Insect Vac protection. The Emporium is another great restaurant and shopping precinct with loads of fantastic top notch restaurants and designer stores a 15 minute walk away. Want to self cater? We have the IGA supermarket a few blocks down open til midnight seven days, the 24 hour night owl, the very large coles supermarket open til 9pm, the Jan Powers Farmers markets (twice a month) at new farm park - take the river walk there, and the very fancy James Street Markets with amazing top notch quality produce on offer. You can cook in one of our two fully equipped kitchens. Want to party? Walk to the heart of the nightclub precinct in 15 minutes, where there are heaps of clubs, china town and bars. There are also pubs/bars even closer which are lively and happening and packed full of locals. Further there are also great bars in Teneriffe including specialist cocktail and beer places. There are three bottle shops all a short walk away, take some back here with you and relax on the deck and enjoy. Want to Park your car? Free street parking on Kent Street, out the front of the house (unlimited this side of the street, two hours the opposite side of the street) Want to Catch Public Transport? The most fun is the City Cat, a fast catermaran boat, will wizz you up or down the Brisbane River, taking in the sights where you can stand on the open front or back deck and feel the wind in your hair. There are heaps of bus options including the central "City Glider" a bus stop on the corner, so many bus options: Buses include the 199, the Night Bus N199, 196 (Brunswick st and Kent st) 193 (chester Street exit) as well as the city glider (express bus into the CBD from the Tenriffe Ferry/City Cat) The closest train station is Fortitude Valley ("the valley") 15 minutes walk away. We also offer airport pick ups or drop offs for $30 one way. Want a great view? The end of our street has a great view of the famous Story Bridge, on the top of the cliffs which offers a magnificent view, there is a park on the corner, with picnic tables and the ambience is great, day or night (there is also a public exercise station) this is often the backdrop featured on local TV shows. Want to go for a walk? Take the river walk to new farm park and back, walk to the valley in 15 minutes, walk to the center of the CBD in about 25 minutes, take a bush walk through the lovely local secret park called teneriffe park or anywhere you shoes choose to take you. If you want a big walk, you can walk to the top of the cliffs, under the story bridge, down to the city, through the botanical gardens and over the foot bridge to the famous Southbank. Want a coffee? There are summer moon light cinema in the park showing movies after dark, relax on beanbags, watch a film and have snacks and drinks. The amazing Powerhouse Arts Center is an amazing venue for all kinds of performing arts, including comedy, performers, arts shows complete with riverside restaurant, take the river walk to New Farm park to get there. The Judith Wright Centre is also walking distance and has on many various shows. Or simply relax in your room (or lounge) with your own TV with foxtel (cable television) with a large variety of channels including movies, there is fast WiFi throughout the property and you can relax on the amazing deck or the BBQ area down the back.   • They were very flexible and helpful with my arrival as I arrived 3 hours earlier than check in time usually is. They had city and walking maps already prepared for a very easy stay. The ferry terminal was only 5 min walk from their place and easy to find. The ferry trip was amazing and took around 40 min to North Quay (inner city). Kitchen facility was great, inclusive simple continental breakfast. The house was beautiful and clean. They had only 1 bathroom which could make it a bit difficult if all guests need it at the same time but that wasn't an issue for me. Everything was lovely and I highly recommend this place.

    My apartment is close to Brisbane city centre, Roma Street train station and South Bank. The bedroom is spacious and there is a pool and restaurant in the complex. The unit is fully self contained and can fit a family with a queen bed in the bedroom and pull out sofa in the lounge room. For those travelling to Brisbane on business, the unit is close to the Brisbane convention centre and CBD. For football fans, it's walking distance to Suncorp Stadium. Please note - no view of river from room.
    The unit is located in the Park Regis building - a prime spot for holiday makers and those travelling on business or for the football
    Beautiful South Bank Parklands is across the river - just a 20 minute walk (1.6 kms) Roma Street Parklands is a 15 minute walk (1.4 km) Queen Street mall is a 15 minute walk (1.2 km) Suncorp Stadium and Caxton Street (restaurants and bars) is also a 15 minute walk (1 km) - Prime spot for Roar fans The Barracks is a five minute walk (450m) - this contains a grocery store, a cinema and restaurants QUT is a 20 minute walk (1.8 km)

At the end of the game we had just a short stroll home, which was a great relief with two little ones, late at night. Her place is very spacious and great value for money (much cheaper than a hotel!) Lisa's communication is excellent, great service, great apartment and we had a wonderful stay.

I hope you are excited about your upcoming trip to Brisbane - as it is certainly the place to be, there is always something happening and the location here is certainly amongst the action. There are so many things to see and do locally. We are in a beautiful tree lined area of gorgeous houses in a beautiful pocket ('the prestigious' Teneriffe Hill) although so close to everything, it is surprisingly tranquil and quiet. We also have a beautiful fairly private park with city view and bush walks located just around the corner, it's a great place to chill out with free BBQ area and playground overlooking the natural landscape, the bush tracks show you some native Australian fauna and flora. River walks are near by and are a great way to get around as well. There's so much to do within this local vicinity (easy walk away) that you will be spoilt for choice. Set amongst plentiful award winning cafes, bars, markets, restaurants, bakeries, butchers, nightlife, arts centers and a huge selection of many different restaurants, all within an easy walk away. There are seven (large and small) supermarkets within a 15 minute Walking Distance There is plenty to do here, in fact, you can walk to many different local attractions and facilities. At the end of the block is a local market with cafe section which is worth a visit. In fact, walk in any direction and you are bound to stumble upon cafes and shops etc of a high standard. Literally a five minute walk is the City Cat Ferry stop (these are very converted in Brisbane) and are wonderful to take you peacefully into the CBD, while you stand on the back of a high powered Catamaran boat (from 6am til midnight) and take in the sights as you travel the Brisbane River (AKA the River City) There are also lots of other buses that leave from even closer to our location. Next to the City Cat stop are the express buses into the CBD (called 'City Glider') in under ten minutes in peak hour. There are also other buses even closer to our location. If you want to go into the CBD then you can easily get there (to drive in peak hour is 5 minutes) walk in 25 via the river and under the Story Bridge. Or, if you want to enjoy the local attractions, there are certainly plenty of them within a 15 minutes walk. Next to the City Cat stop is Vernon Terrace, which is populated with lots of bars, restaurants, cocktail and beer specialist places, definitely worth a look. At the City Cat stop we then have a River Walk that takes you across the top of the water down to New Farm Park, a beautiful park on the River, home to the fortnightly large Farmers Markets and the PowerHouse which is a funky converted building housing plays, comedy, bands, art, talks and so on. Also, about ten minutes walk from our place we have the brand new Gasworks complex, complete with large Grocery Store, an organic market, chocolate restaurant and great cafes and eateries and worth a mention. The amazing historic Waterloo Hotel has been reopened and is very popular. The bar/restaurant has an Art Deco feel and is great to enjoy. From the house in the other direction, we also have the famous James Street within a five minute walk. It is lined with things to see and do, including palace cinema, pizza place, bars, restaurants, clothes stores, boutiques, farmers markets, cafes. Definitely the place to be seen and get seen, Can get quite busy on the weekend and people from Brisbane flock to this area. Not only that, we also have 'The Emporium' which is close to us and is filled with wonderful restaurants of the highest quality and amazing boutiques and stores. You can also walk to Fortitude Valley, which is the night life and weekend market district, which also has China Town Mall where there is amazing Asian Restaurants at good prices. In Fortitude Valley, there is a pedestrian mall with 24 hour food places and all your usual take away places. There are also some great places to get $8 steaks with all the usual accompaniments so it's worth a look. The weekend markets are fun and there are a few '$2 shops' here as well if you need any basics including discount souvenirs. Brunswick Street, Connects to our street easily and is lined with restaurants, bars, art galleries, take away food, burger joints, IGA, Night Owl Convenience store open 24/7. Next to the intersection with Brunswick Street and Kent Street (Our street) is the outlook of the story bridge where you can enjoy the park and amazing view and also start the *short cut into the CBD* from our location, where you take the footpath direct, which goes under the Story Bridge itself and through to the center of the city via a River Walk (ten minutes from park) You can take the City Cat (five minutes walk from our place) to lots of great locations around Brisbane including the famed South bank which is really wonderful including a huge swimming pool and a man made beach as you look at the city skyline, surrounded by free BBQs, amazing parkland, performance center, art gallery, museum, science center, gallery of modern art and state library, it's easy to catch the city cat back to here and it's open really late. Also, don't forget the FREE inner city Ferry! If you have any need to know a place to eat, just ask us. We also have a huge amount of menus out for your to look at (as well as brouchers of things to do) so be sure to check them out. There are wonderful getaways with an 1 hour or so's drive....and beautiful day trips to think about: options include dolphins, islands, rainforests, beaches, swimming and more. If there is something particular you would like to do be sure to mention it to us as we may have some insider info for you. We have lots of information about things to see and do so if you would like some inspiration, let us know what kind of holiday you are looking for and we will make some suggestions and show you some flyers. The easiest train is Brunswick St Station (Fortitude Valley) which is where the night life is, this is one of the central major stops meaning you can go in pretty much any direction from here via train (including the Gold Coast, Roma Street Bus Terminal and The Airports) The train to the airport is a special train and is $16/each. If you would like a lift to the airport it can be arranged for $30. These local places I've mentioned are so close, if you aren't walking there, you are looking at around a $5 - $10 taxi COOKING You get to cook for yourself and enjoy the top of the line kitchen with granite benchtops and everything you will need to cook. Not to mention the BBQ on the large upper deck and the second outdoor garden BBQ equipped with party lights and music facilities and Insect Vac protection. Please ask to use BBQ so we can show you how they work. James street has great restaurants and the trendy Vernon Terrace is packed full of fantastic eateries and concept bars. We have the IGA supermarket a few blocks down open til midnight seven days, the 24 hour night owl, the very large coles supermarket open til 9pm, the Jan Powers Farmers markets (twice a month) at new farm park - take the river walk there, and the very fancy James Street Markets with amazing top notch quality produce on offer. You can cook in one of our two fully equipped kitchens. Want to party/local entertainment? Walk to the heart of the nightclub precinct Fortitude Valley "the valley" in 15 minutes, where there are heaps of clubs, china town and bars. There are also pubs/bars even closer which are lively and happening and packed full of locals. During the weekend are the valley markets with different stall holders, there are fashion strores in the valley by day. There is often live music in the Brunswick Street Mall. Further there are also great bars in Teneriffe including specialist cocktail and beer places. There are three bottle shops all a short walk away, take some back here with you and relax on the deck and enjoy. Want to Park your car? Free street parking on Kent Street, out the front of the house (unlimited this side of the street, two hours the opposite side of the street) Want to Catch Public Transport? The most fun is the City Cat, a fast catermaran boat, will wizz you up or down the Brisbane River, taking in the sights where you can stand on the open front or back deck and feel the wind in your hair. There are heaps of bus options including the central "City Glider" a bus stop on the corner, so many bus options: Buses include the 199, the Night Bus N199, 196 (Brunswick st and Kent st) 193 (chester Street exit) as well as the city glider (express bus into the CBD from the Tenriffe Ferry/City Cat) The closest train station is Fortitude Valley ("the valley") 15 minutes walk away. We also offer airport pick ups or drop offs for $30 one way. Want a great loop walk taking in some inner city sights? The end of our street has a great view of the famous Story Bridge, on the top of the cliffs which offers a magnificent view, there is a park on the corner, with picnic tables and the ambience is great, day or night (there is also a public exercise station) this is often the backdrop featured on local TV shows. You could continue to walk underneath the story bridge, follow the path, then up the stairs to the story bridge,walk across for a good view (you can then stop off at the "Story Bridge Hotel" for a traditional Brisbane gastro-pub and then back continuing the along the same direction you as you were heading, to the top of the Kangaroo Point cliffs, amazing view across the river, free BBQs, exit down the stairs of the cliffs and continue in the direction you are heading away from new farm along the river to Southbank! Great walk, great views, check out the rainforestry, parks, playgrounds and amazing free pools, restaurants with river vview and weekend markets. From here you could catch the city cat from Southbank to Teneriffe home or continue on.... From there you could either catch the city cat back or walk across to the Museaum, Queensland Art Gallery, State Library and Gallery of Modern Art. The cross Victoria Bridge and you are in the CBD known as the "City" where you find great shopping available, a cinema and casino. JoJos restaurant in the middle of the queen street mall up the escalators is a great option, lots of choice and a balcony looking over the middle of the queen street mall intercetion. Be sure to check out the newly renovated City Hall with its beautiful traditional features and large city clock tower. From the Queen Street Mall head to the river walk some of our best restaurants are located on the river front or straight on Heading to the valley for dinner at China town and then on to some bars/night clubs if your up for that, head back home via James Street where you'll find a cinema, shops, cafes, bars, gastro-pubs and restaurants From any point in this walk, you can catch a taxi, ferry or bus if you like. Other walks? Take the river walk to new farm park and back, walk to the valley in 15 minutes, walk to the center of the CBD in about 25 minutes, take a bush walk through the lovely local secret park called teneriffe park or anywhere you shoes choose to take you. At the teneriffe ferry, five minutes from the house, there is a great river walk along platforms placed in the river, which is a nice peaceful option to get to the famous New Farm park where there are fortnightly farmers markets, the powerhouse which has shows and restaurants. Want a coffee? We provide coffee and tea facilities, there is also heaps of cafes around including cafes in both directions no more than five minutes walk away for perfect Italian coffee (and cake) Want local entertainment? The James Street Centro Cinema is fantastic and James Street in general is great, Southbank is excellent, complete with man-made sand beach lagoon that is really stunning, where you can swim infront of the city skyline - take the city cat there, walk or take a bus to the "cultural center"- there are lots of restaurants, weekend markets and more to do. Enjoy the sites of New Farm park, the amazing local hotspot, the New Farm Bowls club, where you can do barefoot lawn bowls with a mixed age crowd and enjoy very affordable drinks and food with a great view of the Brisbane River. There are summer moon light cinema in the park showing movies after dark, relax on beanbags, watch a film and have snacks and drinks. The amazing Powerhouse Arts Center is an amazing venue for all kinds of performing arts, including comedy, performers, arts shows complete with riverside restaurant, take the river walk to New Farm park to get there. The Judith Wright Centre is also walking distance and has on many various shows. Or simply relax in your room (or lounge) with your own TV with foxtel (cable television) with a large variety of channels including movies, there is fast WiFi throughout the property and you can relax on the amazing deck or the BBQ area down the back. The house is located in a trendy area and the living area is really spacious. Leon offers a taxi service to and from the main station and airport, which is really helpful. There was however some confusion regarding availability for the service - best to confirm with Leon the day /night before the journey is required. Please note that there is some renovation work taking place at the house next door which can mean some noisy and early starts!

    The location is what makes this place so great! The main Street of west end is only a couple of hundred meters away and then a stones throw from the unit is my favourite cafe Sol Bread (Artisan cafe/bakery) and then the most lush Conner store ever "Micks Nuts" full of Greek goodies! The unit is beautiful and cozy with timber floors, recently renovated and is kept very clean.
    West End is such a vibrant suburb everyone is very friendly! You will defiantly enjoy your time spent in and around this suburb.

  • We spent the last 4 nights in a cozy, apartment. Our first night was accompanied by heavy rain which sent us off to sleep in no time. Since we travel with a small child, sleeping in is something from a distant past, so we weren't bothered by the nearby school. We enjoyed having breakfast at the kitchen bar and wander along Vulture street downtown. Small drawback: We had some used dishes and some leftover food in the fridge from the last occupants. When coming by car, make sure to stick it right up to the fence, in front of the footpath unless you want an anonymous note from a neighbour under your windscreen wiper. If you're looking for a place which is central, yet fairly quiet then you'll need to give this place a shot.

    This fully air conditioned accommodation is in a perfect location, 4km from Brisbane CBD, great for inner city living without the hustle and bustle. Suited to singles, couples or small families. Walking distance to local shops and cafes. A short walk to the bus stop for easy access to the City and surrounds.
    The garden is a dominant feature of the space. Both the deck area and the tea house provide views of the garden which is relaxing and private. Guests have their own private access to the living area which is fully air conditioned. Enjoy a cool beverage on the spacious deck after a day of sightseeing, meetings/work.
    The neighbourhood is close to parks. The green space at the back of the house leads to a small park. Then crossing the road at the end of the street is a larger park, playground and coffee shops, just a 50 metre walk. The neighbourhood is quiet and leafy. A short drive will take you to the Mt Cootha Botanic Gardens then drive to the top of Mt Cootha for magnificent views of Brisbane and enjoy a drink/lunch/dinner at the Mt Cootha Lookout restaurant.

The room is separated from the bathroom, we have to go outside overnight to get to the bathroom (in the room beside) which was a little more complicated with small children. But overall, it is a detail, because we recommand Annette's place without any hesitation!

  • We are very experienced Air B and B- ers with excellent host reviews. Yang has a beautiful unit in a good location. However it lacks most amenities generally expected of a B and B - no towels , bathmats, hand towels or tea towels , no conditioner , no oil or salt and pepper , very limited crockery and cutlery and virtually no cooking utensils. Plus, host 40 minutes late for agreed check in time. Our host did not address these issues ( with exception of 2 towels and 6 dishwasher tablets) during our stay. Consequently the unit is not good value . If you eat out and take all of your needs with you this unit will work for you! Have given detailed feedback back to Yang and it is hoped that she addresses the issues prior to your stay.

    Comfortable open plan space underneath old Queenslander. We have a spare 33 sq metres to offer fellow travelers that makes a great base to explore inner Brisbane. After a hard day exploring you are welcome to chill in our rainforest inspired garden.
    Our space has own street access, is airconditioned, has a double size bed, shower, toilet, fridge, microwave, toaster, tea/coffee facilities, fan, WiFi, comfy lounge and study desk (but No TV). On street parking permit can be arranged. What have other guests enjoyed about our place? Its private access, our garden, Daves hand man furniture, his artwork, the friendly dogs and the location. We are walking distance to just about everything Inner Brisbane has to offer. Kangaroo Point Cliffs are few 100 metres away; we are walking distance to the city; the art galleries at southbank and the night life in the valley. The space is underneath the main house with its own access from the street, so you are free to come and go as you please, but we are always happy to welcome you up to join us on our back deck for a chat. The space has a low ceiling so people over six foot two or two metres tall might find it uncomfortable. Also being an older Queenslander the floor above is wooden so you might hear us moving about upstairs. We do have high speed Wi Fi plus a collection of books on travel and other stuff you might find interesting but we are in a TV dead zone (very poor reception) so we have no TV. If your really hanging out for that special program on the box you might be disappointed. We also have two very friendly Huskies so if you do wish to explore our backyard you will have your own personal guide.
    Kangaroo Point is very close to the city but on the opposite other side of the river. Our space is walking distance to lots of attractions, Kangaroo Point Cliffs are 150 m away with amazing city views, the cafe with the best view of Brisbane, there are electric BBQ's and its a fantastic vantage point for watching Riverfire and NYE fireworks; the CBD is 15 minute stroll (850 m) to Thornton Street Ferry which leaves every 15 minutes during peak times. Gabba Cricket Ground home of the Brisbane Loins ALF club is 900 m down the road; 1 km towards the Valley you will find the Storey Bridge Hotel, one of the hippest pubs in Brisbane; Just across from the Gabba is the fine dining at the Logan Street Restaurants; Coles supermarket is also on the other side of Ipswich Road (1.1 km); South Bank with its dinning, parklands, city beach, GOMA, Museums is a 30 minute walk along the river bank (1.6 km away) and China town and the night life of Fortitude Valley is only 2.2 km away. We enjoy the walks and bike paths along the river and the view from the Cliffs as the sun sets behind the city towers.Sunset iIn summer we have the flying foxs flying overhead as they head into the city to feed on the native figs.
  • After a friendly and warm welcome with coffee and cakes and a lot of interesting information we spend our days in the cosy accomodation and liked to get "home" ever evening and to sit a bit in the beautiful garden. We had a great time in Brisbane.

  • Staying at Brett and Dave's has been one of the best experiences of our travels! Starting with the accommodation - the property is well sized, clean with a great kitchen. We were shown around by Dave when we arrived (the incredible art in the property is his), he gave us lots of brilliant information and tips on getting around and things to do. The garden is beautiful and well designed. The two dogs were adorable - we love dogs and it was great to hang out with them in the garden. The location is fantastic as it's far enough out of the CBD to be relaxing and quiet but close enough to walk in or get a boat across the river. The walk along the river front along Kangaroo cliffs to the Southbank culture area is really lovely. As for the hosts.... well they were absolutely brilliant. We were invited for dinner at there place and had some of Dave's delicious home-cooked food and they are two of the most well travelled and interesting people we have met. This is what Airbnb should be like - truly a home away from home.

  • Brett and Dave are true gentlemen offering a great space. The welcome tour turned into a friendly chat that was a joy. The accommodation is unexpectedly large; double bed, two seater lounge, bookcase, work table, suite case bench, kitchen area and bathroom. And still room for another bed could have been fitted in. All this space was clean and tidy, kitchen provided all the essential bits and pieces, bathroom was spotless, separate entry direct from the street and a large garden area to share with Brett, Dave and two of the friendliest pooches I've met. The location in Kangaroo Point is great. 10 minute or less walking distance to the cliffs and the best photo spot in Brisbane, GABBA, city hopper ferry wharf, Story bridge, pubs and supermarket. No train station, however buses, ferry and taxi all available. Brett and Dave will be my go to guys for my next Brisbane journey.

  • This is a great place located at the heart of Brisbane. The apartment is lovely with all the artistic decorations. Everything was as described with lots of helpful fliers covering local information. Bed is firm and comfortable. Shower water is warm and running strong. In addition, it has access to a beautiful and well maintained garden. It's a pity that my schedule is fully packed. It would be rather nice to sit down in the garden with a cup of coffee. More importantly, Brett and Dave were very welcoming. Great experience overall!

    Large, airy room, queen bed with double mattresses with your own private bathroom in bright, sunny home in fabulous, quirky West End. Walking distance 10 minutes about 800m to fabulous restaurants and bars in West End, 15 minutes to Southbank and 18 minutes to Brisbane City. Relaxed atmosphere, easy going hosts, access to a gorgeous large deck overlooking white, sandy beach pool, tropical gardens. Deck with lounge chairs and upstairs rooftop deck has amazing sunset views to chill out.
    We call it "The Last Resort "because it has its own private beach with silky white sand, pool, huge rear deck with comfy lounges and rooftop deck with views of the river and sunset drinks. West End is a vibrant, alternative, gay friendly area with a wild collections of bars, restaurants, coffee shops and music venues similar to Fitzroy and Surry Hills. The house is white inside and out and catches all the sunrises and sunsets. Your room has a large queen sized bed, and a private ensuite in a white and airy bedroom within a renovated Queenslander house in West End, Brisbane. We live on the same level of the house and our adult children live downstairs. It is so close to the city but so leafy and quiet just near the river but five minutes walking distance to 20 fabulous West End coffee shops, 16 bars and over 40 restaurants. Only 2 kilometres from the centre of the city, all the tourist venues and Southbank Cultural Centre - you can walk, catch a bus or go luxury style in a Rivercat Ferry. We have a limit of 12 days to stay with us because we still love some time to ourselves. We have renovated 5 houses and this is definitely The Last Resort - we don't have another renovation in us! It's bright and white, high ceilinged and airy with tropical gardens. There are plenty of different areas to escape or areas to sit and have a chat. You also have to share the house with two loveable and very friendly white puppies. On the weekends we are happy to share a BBQ and some great Aussie wines or just some advice on the greatest places to go in Brisvegas and tours up and down the coast. Our names are Paula and Rob and we have travelled extensively in Europe Asia and the Carribean. My last adventure was 3 months backpacking around South America and we both love to hear about travel adventures. There is a huge gourmet kitchen if you are into cooking, wireless Internet, street parking and cable in the living room. It's a place to chill out and relax, quiet and secluded but so close to the city and all the action. It's a great location to base yourselves for day trips up to Noosa Heads, Australia Zoo and down to Byron Bay. The buses leave not far from here and if we are around we can drop you at the station.
    Quiet, leafy residential area of Brisvegas full of birdlife, possums and bush turkeys with a view of the river. Close to quirky, eclectic, fabulous bars, live music venues, at least 30 restaurants all within 10-15 minutes walking distance.

  • For tourists staying in Brisbane you couldn’t beat the view that this apartment gives you of the surrounding city! Superb location to queen street (walking distance), plenty of close places to eat and only a short walk or Uber to Southbank/Fortitude Valley. Cannot beat the value for money on this place either. The apartment is super modern, clean and comfortable. There is also reliable wifi which is a big plus. I’d definitely recommend staying here and hope to stay again in the future.

  • J.C’s place is modern and central. We only need a 10 minutes walk to the city centre. The things in the house are mostly new and we feel comfortable. The view is great too. It is very easy to check in. However, the washing machine is too old so we didn’t wash our clothes here. The kitchenwares are not clean.

    What can i say that hasn't been already been said in all the past reviews? This place is remarkable and such a great retreat to have in the confines of Brisbane, Australia! As a host, Donna is simply one of a kind. I have been in numerous hotels and Airbnb/s since i travel on business on a regular basis and can safely reiterate her customer service is on par with the best out there. From her great smile and inviting nature, you are put at ease immediately on arrival. The place is as the photos show...exceptionally clean, well-equipped and cosy. It has all the trappings needed for a pleasurable experience in Brisbane. Donna was kind enough to understand my quirks and even made me fruit salads - some fruits were freshly picked from her garden! She has tasty handmade jams that she - on most occasions - place in the fridge. One can also watch all the required channels on cable for those rainy days or take a nice hot shower in the beautiful bathroom. This is a great place to sit back and chill out in while taking in the sights and sounds of Australia. Well worth the wait and extremely affordable considering the amenities.
