Breathe the salty air over alfresco dinners at the water's edge at a restored 1940 retreat with 360-degree views. Nestled in 40,000 square meters of grounds, this homey heaven combines nautical accents with smooth stone and chunky wooden furniture. Surf Rental complete equipment is possible or surf lessons, by previous appointment. An electric car or a 9 seat Van VW Caravelle is available for rental by request, with excellent conditions, pick up in Sintra or at Lisbon airport. Very cosy and warm with a lightfire in the living room. The house has one small bedroom with a double bed and other room "Kind of a boat" with a 3 store bed (sleep 4 children). The outside of this house include an exterior shower (hot/cold water), a barbecue, a small tank and and a big table. Go from sintra about 12 km to Magoito beach (Praia do Magoito). When you arrive in Magoito go all the way down to the beach and pass the fortress by the sea. Turn right and you will see the last two white houses. You're there! Lejligheden ligger i midten af fyrkomplekset med udsigt til tårnet og kirken mod nord og fyrmesterboligen mod syd. Denne lejlighed er opkaldt efter billedkunstneren Iwo Brunander, der har lavet flere fine malerier af fyret i 1930’erne og 1940’erne. Lejligheden er indrettet i en farveskala, der matcher de øvrige bygningers, og med respekt for stedets historik og naturen udenfor.

L'objectif était d'utiliser l'espace pour créer une lueur chaleureuse qui vous incite à un plaisir confortable. Deux étages avec une mezzanine. En bas se trouve une cuisine américaine et à l'étage, un salon avec poêle à bois, salle d'eau et mezzanine. Maison confortable de style cabine cosy pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 4 personnes.

Living in a Lighthouse

A magical converted 18th-century lighthouse located on the edge of the picturesque village of Winterton-on-Sea, Norfolk. A building with a rich history, mentioned in Defoe's Robinson Crusoe and used as a lookout tower during World War II. The original tower has now been extended at ground level, with a simple glass and timber structure, which opens onto a cedar deck and garden. The property has been widely featured in interiors magazines and national newspapers.
