It ought to be a collection of Such's and So's. Such a nice place and so quiet. So well decorated with taste and quality materials. Such a relaxing spot so close to the water. So so so good cookies and muffins. And last but not least, so nice people. Very lively and cheerfull Tanya, very calm, quiet and peacefull John (still amazed, 40 years later and apparently, by his wife who may still have more energy than any soldier he faced throughout his carreer . Is there any use to add we enjoyed very much being there and highly recommend the Birds nest ? Daniel

Connie's house was the perfect getaway. Fully equipped with anything you may need and more. If you want to go to a place to enjoy their restaurants and stores, this is not the place as the town doesn't have much to offer in that sense, nor the next town Warsaw. We drove one day to Fredericksburg for a nice restaurant and it was great. For basic needs there is a convenience store five minutes away and a Food Lions 15 minutes drive. Now about the house: the game room is a plus with arcade, ping pong and board games; kitchen has everything you need including a big fridge with ice maker (big tray with a constant supply of ice); reliable wifi; TVs in every room; big bath tub in the main bathroom; nice backyard with a table to eat outside and a solo fire pit in front of the water, and nice kayaks that you can use steps from the house (watch the tide as when it goes down, there is not enough water to get in); and importantly the place was spotless, no clutter, no dust. Totally recommend it

The house was amazing and the scenery right out the front door was beautiful. House had a great open floor plan with plenty of windows for natural lighting. The amenities were top notch for a relaxing outside by the gas fire pit and grilling for dinner. We weren't in town for long so did not get to use the water equipment provided, but definitely will be booking this place in the future for a little get away. Kelly and Thomas were great hosts and had great communication when we had questions.

We were looking for a nice, peaceful place to celebrate my grandson’s 3rd birthday and Landon’s place hit the spot exactly! Not only met expectations but exceeded them. Such an amazing view of the water and the house’s open floor plan was roomy yet still cozy at the same time. Landon was very responsive and provided clear instructions for our stay. We were able to bring our two small dogs so that was an added bonus! Absolutely loved the paddle boards, treehouse, tree swing, trampoline, and fire pit! Both beaches were so easy to get to and the privacy of them was great. My grandson didn’t want to leave and my kids already want to plan another trip here. Truly felt like home away from home and we can’t wait to come back! Thanks for making this a memorable birthday for our big guy 🥰🥳

I stayed here with my three kids for a little getaway, and we had the best time. The place was super clean and spacious, and the modern decor and finishes were clearly chosen with care—it just felt really good to be there. The game rooms were such a fun touch, each with its own theme, and the kids were obsessed! One of our favorite parts was the scavenger hunt—it was such a fun and unexpected surprise, and it gave us a memory we’ll definitely hold onto. The host was incredibly kind, polite, and respectful. Overall, it was just a great experience and a really special trip with my kids.

As serene as it gets (except Wednesday is the mowing day, but didn’t bother us). Renee is super responsive, which helped a lot. The place is clean and very relaxing, it is remote though, any big city you want to drive to is 1.5-2hr drive. Had fun fishing from the dock, so many catfish there, anyone can catch. Friendly neighbors. Water is on the soft side. Fridge and cupboard had spices and condiments, and a water filter, which was a big plus. Pots and pans need replacing, that’s probably the only negative. Would come back in a heartbeat. Thanks Renee and Ed!

Erin's place is in a beautiful location; we loved just looking out the windows down to the creek drifting by below! There was plenty of room for our entire family to hang out together and to spread out and do our own things. The dock was in great shape, and we enjoyed using the two kayaks and the fishing rods. Erin was very responsive and provided great information about the area!

We always enjoy staying here and the hosts are beyond friendly and helpful! We highly recommend this spot to anyone that is looking for a quiet/cozy place to stay (especially if you have pets)!

Wow, what a gem! This home is spotless inside and out. Definitely bring your fishing poles and sunscreen because the yard and views make you want to be outside from sun up to sun down, and even out with the stars! The bald eagles and other wildlife added to the charm, and the home has all the amenities you need. We can’t thank Morgan and April enough for their warm hospitality and welcoming us and our dogs! We can’t recommend this place enough and will definitely be back.
