Excellent host and the backyard is very nice for outdoor meals. The walk to the beach is no more than 10 minutes, a nice bakery on the way to the beach. The river that is right next to the property is very quiet. The train tracks are right next to the house(train runs every 10 minutes) but the host has double windows in all rooms to lower the sound tremendously. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay as the other 3 guest parties were a joy to converse with in the backyard. Two things to consider for your stay: 1.) Can you handle the train noise? every 10 minutes. 2.) Ask about bathroom size picture of the room you're renting. That backyard was worth it for me. like a mini arboretum.

A beautiful place with a perfect location! Close to the sea and so peaceful. Absolutely spotless inside! Would definitely recommend and go back!!

Agita was very welcoming, giving me some fruit and veg she'd just picked from her garden, and helped me out with the Jurmala fee - you need to pay to pass through Jurmala which will be an unexpected thing for most people. It was a stop-off point for me for a night, so I can't really say how it works if you're exploring Jurmala.

This is a really lovely cabin, 10 minutes walk from beautiful coastline. the Sauna is fabulous and the huts are well equipped and clean. The two cabins gave us space to do different things, but all come together as well. It is quite near a busy road and the garden isn't fenced, so you have to keep an eye on your dog if you bring one.

Cosy, clean, quiet place. There was everything for living. Very satisfied with our stay.

Приятное тихое гнёздышко буквально на берегу моря. небольшая огороженная территория, очень милое пространство. Вполне уютный дом, очень теплый, все что надо есть в наличии. То, что можно взять с собой питомцев - просто великолепно! Мы отлично провели время, спасибо!

Wenn man die Ruhe sucht ein tolles sehr großes Haus umgeben von Wäldern und Wiesen. Wir wurden von Anitas Mutter herzlich empfangen und bekamen alles erklärt. Das Haus war sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man so benötigt. Das Grundstück ist schön groß. Die Kommunikation mit Anita war immer sehr freundlich und sie hat schnell reagiert. Empfehlenswerte Unterkunft 👍

Man ļoti patika,un labprāt braukšu atkal.

Mums ļoti patika mūsu mini atvaļinājums – apartamenti atrodas skaistā vietā pie jūras. Ļoti kompakti, tīri, gaiši, ir viss nepieciešamais dzīvošanai. Jūra tikai 5 minūšu attālumā. Teritorija ir plaša, ir restorāns, SPA, bērnu laukumi. Saimnieks vienmēr bija sazvanāms, ļoti atsaucīgs. Noteikti atgriezīsimies vēlreiz. Ļoti labi, ka var uzturēties ar mājdzīvnieku – mums ir mazs sunītis.

Laba atrašanās vieta - ļoti tuvu jūrai. Laipna uzņemšana :)

Whether you planning a getaway with your hubby, vacation with kids, short workation or gathering of best friends - this is the best place. Private, quiet, well equipped. Whirlpool and a small pool outside definitely is a big plus. Colorful rugs all over the house add playfulness. It’s well located - away from the busiest street of Engure village, but everything is reachable within few minutes (beach, very popular bakery, grocery store or cafeteria/restaurant). Lots of things to see around - Engure lake nature park, Cinevilla studio. Host is very responsive, communication was smooth. We truly enjoyed our stay and got back well rested - thank you!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The place was even more beautiful than the pictures showed, and it exceeded all our expectations. The apartment was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully designed — truly a home away from home. The only thing to note is that a car is essential, as you can’t really do much without one. But apart from that, we had an amazing time and would highly recommend this beautiful house!

We had a lovely time staying here. The apartment is within a short walking distance to a lovely beach, nice and calm pool and spa area, and a local restaurant with very good food. The apartment comes with a double sofa bed, which isn’t ideal, but it was alright for our short stay.

Wow! If you're looking for a peaceful, private nature getaway, this is the place for you! We absolutely loved our weekend at Verners' cabin. It's on a hill right next to the river, you can enjoy the beautiful view and soothing sound of the river from the terrace. The cabin is simple but comfortable and cozy. We came with our dogs and they loved it, being able to run around free. There are benches and a table by the river, it's also possible to go for a swim! Would definitely come back again and highly recommend Verners' place to nature lovers looking to relax.

Есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания. Отзывчивый, гостеприимный хозяин. Все понравилось. P.S. Берите с собой непрозрачный скотч) В коридоре свет работает от датчика движения без возможности отключения этой функции , это может создать небольшой дискомфорт. P.P.S. При заселении в несколько человек, учтите что горячей воды в бойлере на всех может не хватить. В целом всё хорошо.

Mājoklis bija ļoti skaists un tīrs. Varēja redzēt, ka ir piedomāts par detaļām un viesa pieredzi. Ļoti patika, ka ēst gatavošanai bija nodrošināts viss, kas varētu būt nepieciešams, pat grils ar oglēm un degšķidrumu. Vienīgais, ko derētu zināt iepriekš ir tas, ka mājoklis neatrodas meža vidū, kā tas izskatās bildēs. Uzreiz aiz vienas koku līnijas ir ciemats un citi īpašumi. Neskatoties uz to, pati mājiņa ir novietota tā, ka no iekšpuses ir absolūta privātuma sajūta.

Wir haben eine sehr schöne, entspannte Woche bei Agita verbracht! Inmitten von Apfel- und Birnbäumen, direkt an einem kleinen See gelegen, ist die Unterkunft ein perfekter Ort für Familien. Bei gutem Wetter kann man mit Blick auf den Garten in einem Pavillon essen- Sonnenuntergang inklusive!

Had a fantastic stay at this cozy cabin by the water! It was peaceful, spotless, and the perfect place to relax. The hot tub was a great bonus, especially in the evenings. The hosts were wonderful; responsive, available, and great with communication. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway!

Our long weekend stay at Anita was a real pleasure! The place was beautiful inside and was located perfectly to explore the city by foot. Would recommend for anyone who is a group of a couple of people or just want a nice place for themselves! And the recommendations Anita made for us was very personalised to us and the ones we tried out was perfect for us. Would live here again

Everything that is in the description perfectly matches the reality. I was lucky to see Gatis in person because I arrived a bit too early - very sinere and helpful host. The place itself was exactly what I was looking for - it was nice, simple, tidy, private and overall it felt very cozy. Also the well-kept bicycle was put to good use :) This place is definitey worth it for all kinds of travelers. It is perfect for a family, for pairs and for people just wanting to switch-up their surroundings when working from home. Definitely a great find for myself and I can see that I will visit this place again :)
