Kyle has done an amazing job with this cabin, it’s clear that so much thought has been put into everything. It is decorated beautifully and has everything you might need to feel at home. We loved spending time here for our anniversary and can’t wait to return with our kids next time.

Jason was so responsive both before and during our stay! He was so accommodating. There was a leak on the toilet and he had a plumber out to fix it within a few hours and then again when it wasn’t fixed the first time, and offered us to stay later at no charge. It was so nice to have a place to stay that we didn’t have to bring all the big stuff for the kids, pack n play, high chair, etc! The house was beautiful and there was so much for the kids to do! The exercise pool/hot tub was great for the kids to use during the day then be turned up at night for the adults! Great to be in a place that felt like the country but was close to town. Would highly recommend and would definitely return! Made for a great family weekend!

Fun fall get away for up north exploring.

Sweet little cabin has everything you need as a home base for exploring the UP! Great spot for couples looking to get away from it all. Thank you again for your hospitality!

Rustic, private and peaceful retreat. No outside distractions only nature. The half mile Loop was great for walking our dogs and we did it every day. We were halfway between Mackinaw City and Petoskey. Both were great to visit and walk the dogs. We found parks and trails all around to hike and enjoy.

As locals without an accessible home after “The Storm of a Lifetime” we felt like home. There are those who would not feel comfortable in such an old cabin with its quirks. We loved it!

We had a great time, the cabin is adorable with a nicely stocked kitchen. Emily was great as host - very accommodating and within easy reach via messaging online - she offered her phone number too but we didn't have to use it. I'd stay there again!

This cabin was super cute and cozy! We hope to come back with the family one day, as there's plenty of room for us all to fit if we wanted. Not only was it clean, there were clear directions on how to use any of the many amenities in the cabin. I wish we had come at least 2 weeks earlier for our stay (it was a last minute vacation on the last weekend of October). We came up for the fall colors, in hopes that we'd still have a chance - This is no fault of Diane's, this was our own bad planning! We were very thankful the cabin was available! Just know that Mid-October, the local establishments, including the trading post right across the street, are closed/closing for the season. It was soo cool to be able to drive 10 mins and be in town, see the bridge (day photo's and night photo's!) and we were less then an hour ride from the Soo Locks too! Thank you again Diane for sharing your space. It was awesome!

Cute little cabin on the lake with a stunning view, great restaurant within walking distance with amazing food… what more could I ask for?

Great property. Only saw one of the cabins on the property, but it was perfect for my group and I. If you are looking for a private, quiet, and peaceful break from reality then I would highly recommend this place.

We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed everything, the cabins were very nice and spacious. will definitely be back!

It was described perfectly- vintage with its shabby chic charm. Everything was clean and everything you could need was there. The owner waiting for me so he could help me find the cabin and was warm and welcoming after I had had a difficult day. He had fired up the propane fireplace so it was warm and cozy too. Waking up to the ducks and sparkling sunshine on the lake was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

Lovely rustic cabin. Has it's own screened in porch! Lake is beautiful. Greeting was immediate, thanks! Flawless communication thru out stay. I would recommend Ritchie's place 100%. Now, if you are looking for posh (why are you looking at cabins or AirBnB then?) skip this location. Simply wonderful!

This is the second year my group has stayed in this cabin and it is everything you could want. Spacious, peaceful, and fully loaded with amenities. Mark was very quick to respond if we reached out with questions and always very friendly. We will stay here again for sure in the future.
