This place is stunning, with gorgeous views on three sides of the house looking out over the ocean. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Although some reviews commented on the noisy ghost birds at night, we maybe heard them once and weren’t bothered by them at all. Amazing to have water views from the bed and the bath, just luxury. Our host picked us up from the airport and gave us a quick tour of town before showing us the house. There was even homemade cake waiting for us. Well worth a visit and a great base from which to explore the island. Highly recommended!

We searched all the accommodation on Norfolk Island and saw that Whitewood Sea was the ideal place for us to celebrate our anniversary. We were very impressed. The place was spotlessly clean, modern, uncluttered, quiet and relaxing. The hire car included was a ripper and excellent for exploring the island. Bec is a great host and had lots of local tips and information. She even recommended the restaurant for our anniversary night which was superb and special. Thanks Bec for making our stay memorable, we loved our time at Whitewood Sea and Norfolk Island.

Perfect location, within walking distance of the city centre. Absolutely perfect accommodation for large group of people; photos on the website were a true and accurate reflection of the property. Rael provide a lovely breakfast hamper - eggs, 2 x bread, butter, jam, milk and juice. It was a welcomed surprise; arriving late into the afternoon and not sure the location of the local supermarket. An 8 seater people mover was attached to the booking; once again a real blessing. Overall, we had a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend Rael's airbnb property.

This was our first visit to Norfolk Island. The house, it’s location and it’s facilities topped it off as a holiday of a lifetime. We were so comfortable. We Lit a fire every night, woke up to a view out to the pool, the Norfolk pines beyond and the ocean vista. Beautiful sunsets at night and walks along the cliffs gave our eyes the gift of the most stunning scenery. Our photos of this picturesque island will provide us some stunning memories. We highly recommend Pip as a host, the house as a wonderful comfortable place to stay in the perfect location. Pip met us at the airport with a rental car which come with the house and personally led us to our stay. A fridge stocked with a cheese platter, a bottle of wine and beer was a good start to our holiday. The pantry was stocked. We had nothing to want for. We can highly recommend. Whilst we did not use the pool it was lovely to look out over the pool to the pines and ocean whether sitting in the lounge or outside.

It was great to stay at Philly's. Walking distance to Emily bay and the golf course. Easy to get to town and other places with the car provided. It is very quiet and peaceful. Jerry (caretaker) and Diana are very helpful and pleasant to communicate with. We had several delays during cyclone Alfred, and Diana was very supportive and helpful during that time which was much appreciated.

We actually ended to stay in 2 bedroom apartment as we had a friend travelling with us. Debbie kindly changed our reservation. She also arranged a car hire which was waiting for us at the airport and we left it at the airport on our departure. Nothing was a problem, she kept friendly communication and the place is in a close proximity to the shops, cafes and restaurants. Car is a must at the island if you want to explore all the beauty and reach some amazing walks. There is a note about WIFI at the unit which say limited on the listing but the wifi is very good with a different log in and password than listed. You will also get a local mobile which will allow you to make a local calls. We had a great time despite some rainy days.

Beautiful and secluded location with easy access to all local attractions and restaurants, we loved the 'homey cottage vibe' with the forest at the doorstep and lots of birds and butterflies visiting the garden.

Very comfortable unit with lovely outdoor sitting areas. Located on the edge of the town with trees and rural views but still close enough to walk to shops and restaurants.
