We stayed in Oak Cottage at Elms Farm Cottages and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Carol was a fantastic host - very communicative, flexible and helpful and the cottage was perfect - very comfortable and with excellent amenities - all the small things taken care of. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day.

In stayed for a long weekend with my family. The house was lovely and perfect for me as the children could play in the conservatory. The garden was lovely and my boys really enjoyed being outside and playing. House was lovely and I would stay again.

This stay was a surprise for my partner’s birthday, and she cried with happiness when we arrived! I added the birthday package which was a lovely touch and really nice. Will definitely stay here again and make it ‘our place’. Cannot recommend it enough. Out of this world

Great accommodation- we loved our stay. Very relaxing / private setting but great location to explore the area. Incredibly clean and had everything we could need for our stay.

Amazing couldn’t have wished for anything more. Easy check in and check out. Beautiful cabin and hotub with a games room including pool table and darts for free. Would highly recommend staying here.

Lovely house and location, was ideal for all ages in the party. Amenities were very good and enjoyed using the hot tub. Slight problem finding the house when following the satnav but was able to contact the host quickly who gave perfect directions. would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the area.

Lovely little cottage, very clean and private, lots of space and all the amenities you would need. Not too many places to walk to from the cottage, but if you have a car it’s no problem. The tap and run pub is a great pub everyone should check out that is on the doorstep. Also Hanwell vineyard down the road for an enjoyable informative wine tasting experience.

Once again we had the most amazing stay, just how we remembered from the last time, felt right at home, will always book and stay when visiting family. The comparison of our son sitting in the arm chair at 11 months and now almost 19 months blew us away. We can’t wait to make more memories here with our family.

a lovely cosy, little cottage for a long weekend away competing my horse at a local equestrian centre. the self check in and check out facilitated late arrival and early departure. We loved our stay at Andy’s place with our parents and our 2 young children. It is in a beautiful and peaceful village. The cottage is really quirky, clean and cosy - had everything we needed for our stay, Andy has thought of lots of extra details which make it a really enjoyable stay. Everything is easy to find and use with Andy’s helpful notes and labels. We really loved the toys and games for the kids so this kept them entertained! we were lucky with the weather our stay we used the lovely little garden a lot which is private and a nice wee suntrap, also has the added bonus of the sauna which was brilliant. Andy was really friendly and helpful upon check in and out and quick communication if we needed anything. Would really recommend a stay here and we will definitely return if back in the area. This was a perfect place and I really hope I get to come back. The setting is beautiful, the area is quiet, the house itself is comfy and clean, the kitchen & rooms are well equipped, and host Elizabeth is friendly and welcoming. The location is fab - there's an award-winning bakery/cafe 7mins drive away, gardens to visit 9mins drive away, and Rutland Water 15mins drive away. To get to stay in separate rooms as friends yet have the shared homely space was great. We cooked a full meal, as the equipment, oils & seasoning we needed were provided in the kitchen. We connected our laptops up via our own HDMI cable to the TV and put our feet up on the reclining sofas. Perfect! Would recommend.

It was a privilege to be able to stay in such a beautiful setting. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surrounding countryside. The cottage was very homely and we really appreciated the provisions provided. Personally, I was in horse heaven! Thank you so much, Caroline, Roger and Lucy. We definitely would want to come back.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage and thoroughly enjoyed how relaxing our stay was. The cottage was beautiful and had great views of the surrounding countryside with an added bonus of seeing horses and cows from the bedroom window! Dee was a lovely host who was very accommodating and helpful.

We enjoyed staying at honeypot cottage. The large garden is a sun trap and plenty of logs for the log burner. Simon and Caroline were good on the comms too. Thank you

I was very impressed with Manor Cottage which was clean, comfortable and very peaceful. It is set in the semi formal garden of the Manor House which leads onto open county side with well marked public footpaths/access. Daniel and Angela were very responsive and got back to me on any queries I had straight away. It has all the facilities that are needed in addition to private use of the pool and Shetland ponies, chickens and ducks which you can visit if you wish! I will definitely visit again. I only wish there were more bedrooms so I could share how lovely this place is with more of my family/friends.

Absolut tolle Unterkunft mit wunderschönem Garten in sehr schöner Lage. Die Ferienwohnung ist praktisch aber sehr stylisch eingerichtet und man findet alles, was man jemals benötigen könnte. Es hat uns dort sehr sehr gut gefallen. Elisabeth ist supernett und jederzeit erreichbar und hatte jederzeit tolle Tipps für jede Eventualität auf Lager.

Family visiting for weekend. The Cottage was ideally located for visiting relatives (which was a perfect coincidence). The cottage was perfectly sized for 2 adults and a baby. It was cosy. Very neat and tidy. Lots of amenities all within walking distance. We were all very happy.
