Beautifully furnished, romantic and spacious, in gorgeous peaceful countryside, the thick stone walls make it warm and cosy in winter, cool in summer as well as quiet and private. Upstairs there is a very comfortable super kingsize bed, a rolltop bath, a huge velvet sofa and a 50" TV. Downstairs is a shower room, kitchen and large dining area. "Hares Rest" shepherd hut is situated in a private location within a paddock with amazing rural views. Hares, red kites, barn swallows and deer are just some of the wild life you can see. Good pubs within various walking distance (3, 30 and 45 mins). Bowood House, adventure park, golf course and spa is 5 mins drive away. The train station is a 10 minute drive with easy access to Bath. We have horses so only very well behaved dogs are allowed by prior agreement and additional charge.

Pigsty Cottage is a very spacious apartment within the grounds of a listed Georgian farmhouse, its a lovely private place to stay. Well equipped, with a top quality kingsize bed and secure parking. A Lovely rural location, stunning gardens. Great for visits to Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury, Amesbury and Devizes. We do allow a well behaved pet. If you’re planning on bringing a pet, we’d like to know in advance as we make some small changes to the furnishings accordingly.

A great base for cycling/ walking/ exploring Wiltshire.
