A very cosy, comfortable cottage with well considered, stylish touches that made it a thoroughly delightful place to stay. The beds were very comfortable, with thick toppers, plentiful pillows and luxurious bedding. There was plenty of hot water, and a good shower. Susan was welcoming and proactively helpful - both in providing additional cookware for a particular recipe I wanted to make, and in sourcing a new firestick for the TV so we could access Netflix. All in all, a lovely and peaceful haven for our mini-break in Scotland.

A fantastic family stay at this wonderful barn conversion. We couldn’t have asked for more. The location is great,just a few miles outside the main town of Galashields (which has everything in it….and some great delivery services) The property was spacious and catered for our needs and our wheelchair user. The hot tub is the icing on the cake,peaceful and tranquil at any time of the day. We would love to return in the future.

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

An absolutely charming place! We stayed one night and were smitten from as soon as we checked in. The loveliest little touches in the interior, from the record player to the board games and books, and oh, what a beautiful garden and outdoor experience to behold! A tranquil and lovely house that was immaculate inside. The kitchen area is spacious and very light and a great place to host a dinner party and play a few games. The bedrooms were all a nice size and the lounge was cosy and if you lit the fire it emitted plenty of heat for a smaller stove. The hot tub was lovely first thing in the morning or late in the evening. Only downsides were the ‘putting lawn’ was in disrepair so not useable and the pool table was also very tired but it didn’t detract from a wonderful weekend.

Fantastic house, amazing views, lots of space and lovely to be on a farm. Great walk up largo law and lots to do to close by, only a short car journey to get to each location.

Amazing location, within a 10 minute walk of almost anything while still being in a quiet part of town. Gorgeous park right in your backyard. Plenty of food nearby, and just a short walk to the bus and train station. Plenty of space for a group to spread out. Loved having the living room and kitchen! Hosts were flexible and really responsive when we needed them for something. Overall this location was perfect for a family vacation.

I stayed at this wonderful property for a few days right after getting married, kicking off my honeymoon while also showing my new in-laws some of the best parts of the UK. The entire family had a great time here—it’s clean, very spacious, and truly felt like home. We did run into a minor issue with a bathroom leak (a bit of bad luck on my part, I suppose), but the host was incredibly responsive and did everything they could to resolve it quickly. I really appreciate how it was handled and am grateful for the prompt attention. Overall, I highly recommend this lovely property. If I’m ever in Edinburgh again with family or friends, I’d definitely check if this place is available before considering other options in the Old Town area. Had a wonderful couple of nights in this beautiful apartment. The building is gorgeous especially the huge windows and staircase. Well equipped kitchen and the round dining table was perfect to share meals and chat. Excellent location with tram to centre minutes away. Comfortable beds and ample room for up to 3 couples. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. 2 lady professionals traveling for work and this was a fabulous stop over. Quiet, super comfortable, safe and a lovely welcome hamper on arrival: Highly recommend. There is a lovely beach/woodland walk to stretch weary car travelled legs as well. Thanks Julie - hope to be back one day

The location is amazing — perfect for exploring the city. The place was very clean, exactly as described, and the host communicated well. We did have one hiccup: there were only two towels provided, even though there were three of us, so we had to share, which wasn’t ideal. Also, like other reviews mentioned, the bed is very noisy. I figured it couldn’t be that bad since I don’t move much when I sleep, but even the slightest movement made noise. Other than that, we had a good stay and really enjoyed the home and the area. I would give it 4.5 stars because 5 means perfect, and the bed and towel issues weren't so great.

What an incredible house in a beautiful neighborhood. The house is so well equipped and so clean. Lots of cereals, cookies, tea and coffee to make our stay even more perfect. The backyard was a bonus with the children. Great location too for public transportation, very easy to go anywhere. Ronnie was so responsive and so accommodating. Many thanks!

Anna è stata gentilissima, sempre disponibile. Siamo arrivati prima del check in e ci ha permesso di lasciare i bagagli intanto che finivano le pulizie. La casa è pulita e rispecchia la descrizione. La zona è tranquilla, vicino al bellissimo parco the Meadows che ci siamo goduti viste le splendide giornate che abbiamo trovato a Edinburgo. Ci si muove a piedi tranquillamente (20 minuti) per raggiungere Victoria Street, Royal Mile, ecc. Per l’arrivo dall’aeroporto a piedi ci vogliono 20/25 minuti con fermata West End. Consiglio caldamente questo alloggio per visitare questa splendida città.

El alojamiento es perfecto en todos los sentidos La ubicación para conocer la ciudad es fantástica, junto a Cartón Hill, estaras a un preioso paseo del centro histórico de la ciudad. Es una casa acogedora y preciosa, con camas cómodas y todos los servicios que puedas imaginar. Chirs es encantador, nos dejó desayuno para todos, vino e incluso chocolate. Si deseas visitar a Edimburgo no dudes en alojarte en casa de Chris.

We had an enjoyable weekend break in the Lookout at Pitmilly. Excellent standard of accommodation and facilities and a wonderful setting, convenient for exploring the Fife coast. Would highly recommend.

A location with an interesting history; just a few minutes walk (beside the river) from Dunblane’s centre but tranquil, comfortable and secluded. Perfect to visit the surrounding area but also an easy train journey to Stirling and Edinburgh for the sights.

Karan was extremely responsive, great communication. Place was worth every penny compared to other hires in the park. Only issue we had was that the caravan had a horrible stench when we got there, most likely something the previous people cooked as the place didn’t have an extractor fan on the hob. We messaged Karan and he sent someone over to refill the air freshener but the odour over powered so took more than a day to die out. Other than that we had a lovely stay and would recommend this place to others.
