Merrifield’s Luxury Holiday Cottages. Set in the heart of the beautiful Rossendale countryside, the two listed cottages at Merrifield’s date back to the 18th century and have been expertly renovated to a high standard with no expense spared, providing rural retreats within easy reach of local amenities. These Historical Homes have an aura of peace and relaxation, with tasteful furnishings and interesting artwork. The private gardens provide beautiful views. A well-equipped home away from home.

The Old Farm Office at Cronkshaw Fold Farm

Curl up in front of the fire in our self-catering hut located next to our quiet, private farm lane. Enjoy panoramic views over the valley. Relax in the hammock on the veranda, snuggle up on the sofa in front of the fire, cosy up in bed under the feather duvet lit with fairy lights. Private hot tub available for hire for an additional £42. Book farm tours with hot buttered toast and dippy eggs, goat hang out experiences, bee keeping experiences or venture off on one of the many local trails.

The Coach House

This is a detached barn that can sleep up to 6 people ,the extra bed is a futon in the upstairs bedroom,bedding is provided.. it has plenty of safe secure parking.. a patio area with seating..it is close to nature and lots of outdoor space. Great for motorbikers too. It has underfloor heating, log burner in the lounge, regular oven fridge freezer, microwave. We have direct access to local bridleways, cycle ways and off road cycling. Lots of moorland directly behind the property for walking.

Cosy Studio for two Ramsbottom

This is a relaxing completely self-contained studio in very quiet surroundings yet only a few minutes walk from delicious eateries and quirky bars in Ramsbottom and Holcombe Brook. It is perfect for couples who enjoy the great outdoors (you can walk onto the West Pennine Moors from the house) or for those just looking for a private retreat in which to unwind. Plenty of free unrestricted on street parking. Please note we cannot accept children or pets, the studio is compact and not suitable.

The Stables - Rawtenstall.

The Stables is a unique, relaxing, stylish one bedroom property with an additional double sofa bed included. It has lots of character, superb views and is the perfect romantic hideaway, ideal for a short break away. The Stables also has a hot tub which is ideal for anyone wanting a relaxing weekend away. It is ideal for walking routes, with friendly local pubs and restaurants nearby and is only a 15 minute walk into Rawtenstall town centre. The nearest super market is just 0.4 miles away.

Peaceful Bungalow a stone’s throw from Rossendale golf course, Haslingden cricket club and Rossendale skip slope. Jump on the X43 bus and ride in to Manchester City centre in less than 45 mins. Go walking on the Tor hills or go and ride on the Steam train to the historic town of Ramsbottom. If you like eating out there ae lots of wonderful restaurants in Rawtenstall, Edenfield, Ramsbottom or the very local Woolpack. Other great restaurants include The Coach, Village Stores, and Coach.

As you approach the hobbit house you'll be greeted by a charming small green door hidden within a developing garden. Complete with a stream and weir and fragrant herbs in the summer. Step inside and you'll find yourself in a cozy and inviting space, filled with natural light and earthy tones. The Hobbit House features a comfortable living area, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a delicious meal, including a stove, fridge, and all the necessary utensils.

A great little village, close to Ramsbottom, with good amenities (pub, cafe, butcher, bakery, shop, take-aways - see further details below) and accessible for beautiful rural walks. For anyone attending a wedding the cottage is immediately opposite the church making it a prime spot for guests.
