Close the day grilling out while you watch the gorgeous sunset.

You’ll think you are in the country when you arrive at our peaceful 10 acre property right in Muncie. Located near our historic home, built in 1848, you’ll find a carriage house with an upstairs apartment with everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. This is a quaint, rustic cabin like space with private outdoor area. You are only five to 10 minutes from BSU and IU Ball Hospital, downtown, Elm Street Brewing, the Children’s Museum, walking trails and most restaurants.

Cozy Pool House in the Country on 25 acres

The pool house is close to Muncie, Indiana and Ball State and Taylor Universities. We are also only about 5 miles from Barn on Boundary and have hosted several wedding parties. You’ll love our place because of the location, it feels like a secluded lodge. The timber frame structure is unique and has all the comforts of home. It has a very open floor plan and is very quiet and peaceful. It is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), big groups, and furry friends (dogs).

The Ethel Retreat/BSU/IU

Come stay at the Ethel Retreat Located just blocks from IU Hospital and Ball State University. A cozy get away in this cottage feel home so close to restaurants and the Cardinal Greenway bike trail located along the Westside Park right on the water. A newly built skate park put in 2025 one mile down the road. There is plenty to do around this area of Muncie and plenty of popular shops nearby. With TWO bedrooms (each has TV & QUEEN bed), a LARGE kitchen/dining area, a COZY living room with TV/Roku, and a SPACIOUS bathroom! NO CLEANING FEE and FREE parking right in front of your door!
