Notre séjour était parfait! L’endroit est idéal pour se reposer et explorer la région. Nous avons adoré prendre de longue marche avec notre chien sur le terrain. Le logement est très chaleureux tout comme Gerette ! x

My boyfriend and I stayed at the Owl's Head Cabin for a long weekend skiing at Jay. The cabin is small and cozy, very warm, and the right size for two people for a weekend. In addition to the main bed, there's a loft with a sleeping area, but you'd have to be very small to get into it and enjoy it; I'd guess the cabin would be a bit small for a couple with children but maybe if you're out all day it'd be okay. Cooking appliances worked well. The one note of caution is that you have to drive on a somewhat rough, uphill dirt road for at least 3 or 4 miles to reach the cabin. We fortunately did not have to drive during a time when there was actively snow falling on the road, but the 2wd sedan we rented definitely would not have made it in those conditions; it was a little harrowing even with just the slush and ruts left after plowing. So be careful if your trip coincides with nastier weather! Jason was very communicative and left clear instructions. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Bruce was an excellent host! He gave great recommendations and clear instructions. The driving directions were so good we were able to find the place in the dark lol. The cabin was very cozy and comfortable, had everything we needed. The view in the morning was quite nice. The beds were warm and comfortable and the whole place was clean with more than enough towels and blankets. The only thing I'd note is that it's not entirely a true ski in/out experience. We were expecting to be able to ski right from the cabin door onto the hill (as per other ski in/out places we've rented) but if you did that, you'd end up skiing into a building (don't do that, haha) We had to carry our skis past a row of cabins and sheds to get to the hill where we were able to get on. I'd describe it as more of a slope-side cabin than ski in/out. It's not a big deal, still very convenient, just a bit different than described. Overall, I'd give it a 10/10, would recommend!

Darren is a great host, and this is a great place! He had plenty of great recommendations in the area, so we always had something to do. The lake itself is super pretty and very tranquil. Would highly recommend!

We have rented this adorable log cabin many times and look forward to our next visit! The host is very responsive and friendly and we can not recommend this lovely stay enough.

Such a gem! So happy we found this very private spot. It was perfect for our weekend away with our family and our dogs. Home was super cute, VERY clean and truly one of the best Airbnb's we have ever stayed in as far as amenities. There were so many fresh clean towels, paper towels, toilet paper, and TONS of linens like extra blankets (I usually freeze in bed), even basic kitchen supplies. Got to meet the owner briefly and she is a DOLL! If we have the chance to stay in this area again, we would definitely go back! Don't hesitate if you like quiet private surroundings. Oh and the view out the living room window was the icing on the cake! Thank you for a great stay!

Ian’s place was a dream. Such a beautiful spot and cozy cabin. I mean, you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful view. We even saw an otter out on the shore! Quiet, peaceful, beautiful. Any nature lover’s dream plus close enough to the city to go see and do. I would 100% stay here again.

Our stay here was the best one we’ve had! The house was ABSOLUTELY beautiful!! The place was soooo clean! The bed was super comfortable as well! Overall, we loved our stay and can’t recommend the place more! Nothing but great things to say for this home!!

The cabin is in excellent and pristine conditions. This was my first stay in an Airbnb and it was a fantastic experience. Everything was super clean which is very important for us. The hot tub was super nice and great to relax after a long day. The cabin is built in a very smart way with a ton of storage space hidden in plain sight. The washer-dryer combo is a nice touch specially with the hot tub, you can easily dry your clothes and towel and be ready to go again in an hour. The kitchen is complete and fully equipped and the heaters work perfectly. All in all, a fantastic getaway! Thank you!!

Stacey’s cabin was a beautiful getaway. The creek at the bottom of the hill was a labradors dream. The dogs loved it and my boyfriend and I had a spectacular time. Close to towns for any needs and still tucked away for relaxation. Stacey was an incredible host from response time to making the cabin felt like a home away from home! Would recommend for a nice short get away!

Un superbe endroit très paisible, parfait pour se relaxer et sortir du quotidien. La vue est incroyable, l’endroit très confortable. Vous pouvez aller à leur érablière et ça leur fera plaisir de vous faire visiter les installations et un bon litre de leur délicieux sirop d’érable en cadeau! Nous planifions y retourner tellement on a aimé l’endroit.

Notre week-end a été super malgré la température, nous sommes restés dans le chalet avec nos deux toutous et rien à redire. Superbe petit chalet! Tranquille et cozy! Je vous le recommande fortement.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at Patty's place. Beautiful cabin with lovely antique touches, loved being right by the creek and the porch rocking chairs were a lovely touch! Nice and close to hiking trailheads. We loved getting to trek the farm trails and see the animals. Overall would highly recommend the Tea House for a cosy outdoor getaway.

The Cozy Shed is the perfect get away for a single or couple. It is ideal for people looking to explore the Danville or NorthEast Kingdom areas of Vermont. Close to good food, gas/convenience store, I91, and the public use rail trail. The rail trail is right in the back yard. Quiet, comfortable, very adequate internet service for working remotely and beautiful scenery both on property and off. Just finished my 3rd stay and looking forward to snowmobiling this winter if the weather cooperates.

Highly Recommend! Very friendly and excellent hosts, the cabin was immaculately clean and instructions were easy to follow, checkout was a breeze. Rental was quite private too. Overall 10 out of 10 would definitely rent the cabin again.

The fireplace was a highlight, especially on chilly evenings, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking meals with a view. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, like the local guidebook and extra blankets. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring everything was perfect from check-in to check-out. I highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful escape in nature. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, recharge, and soak in the beauty of the area. I can’t wait to come back!

This was such a cute & cozy getaway! Karen has thought of everything you might need. There is a fire pit and a picnic table and lots of books to read. Lots of cute nature themed decor. One note for planning is that the toiletries are separate from the cabin. While the cabin is an 'indoor' experience (well sealed, clean, warm, etc), the toiletries are sort of like glamping. There is an outhouse-style toilet and an outdoor shower (with hot water). I love an outdoor shower but it was a bit difficult to use at night because of the dark. Still a world above camping, it’s just good to be aware. The wood burning stove and cheerful outdoorsy decorations were so snug and lovely. We chose this area to access the wonderful hiking in many nearby Adirondack trails. I hope to come back and stay longer next time!

Le chalet d’Hubert est un véritable havre de paix ! L’ambiance y est chaleureuse tout autant que l’accueil. Nous ne pouvions espérer mieux pour passer deux jours en plein milieu de la nature ! Je recommande !

Het verblijf was fantastisch! Ik was er samen met mij 2 kinderen voor 4 dagen. Bij binnenkomst had Alexandre de lampjes aangemaakt. Het uitzicht is geweldig. Alle drie een eigen kamer met een heerlijk bed. Mooie veranda, een steiger met een trapje waar je zo het water in kan. Op zaterdag had Alexandre er een kano voor ons neergelegd. We zijn daar een stuk mee gaan paddelen. Wij komen uit Nederland, dit soort prachtige ruime plekken heb je bij ons niet. Dus dat was extra genieten. Ik raad het iedereen aan. Zelf was ik hier nog veel langer gebleven. Rust, ruimte, prachtige omgeving, wandelen, fietsen, etc. etc. Ik kom heel graag nog een keer terug naar deze magische plek 🦋

We spent two nights during the shoulder season of fall/winter. I was pleasantly surprised by how lovely this place is for the price. We immediately felt comfortable and relaxed. Their hospitality and property is not something to be missed! I will absolutely be back to enjoy the airbnb in different seasons! One thing to note is if you’re tall the shower and bed are a little tight. Not a big deal but worth a mention. 10/10 stay.

We booked the cabin for two nights while attending a workshop in the area. It was very easy to access the space on our own using the provided key code. The cabin is located on a woodsy hillside. We were pleased to find it very clean, with solar powered lighting, a solar charging system for devices, and utensils/dishes/pots/pans in the kitchen. Plenty of gas and water for were provided for our stay. Hot water in the outdoor shower located a short walk downhill from the cabin - reliable and hot! Location to Burke and Willoughby is pretty good - about 10/15 minutes to either. We enjoyed the campfire space and hanging out inside exploring the bookshelf and games. Thanks for a very comfortable, charmingly rustic, spot to stay!
