We had a lovely stay here, my partner was doing a weekend course at Sussex Green Woodworking and this was a perfect place for us to stay, just 4 minute drive away. The location is peaceful and beautiful, and we enjoyed having coffee with the noise of horses and chickens nearby. Nice restaurants nearby, would especially recommend Poco Wine about 15 mins drive away. Would definitely be back to explore more of the natural beauty in the area.

A very lovely place to stay, in beautiful surroundings. Everything is very well thought out. We had a great stay with our 2 year old son and felt very welcomed.

Wir haben uns von Anfang an wie Zuhause gefühlt. Die Unterkunft liegt wunderbar ruhig und verfügt über alles was man braucht. Ailsa und Bryce sind hervorragende und sehr sympathische Gastgeber und geben gute Tipps und Ratschläge für Unternehmungen. Sehr empfehlenswert ist der Besuch im Pub „The Great House“ in Hawkhurst. Lebensmittel findet man ebenfalls in Hawkhurst. Die Unterkunft war in einem perfekten und sehr sauberen Zustand. Alles ist so, wie auf den Fotos beschrieben.

My parents stayed for the Christmas period and were very happy with their stay. They thought it was tidy, clean, warm and comfortable. Nice thoughtful touches like the twin hot water bottles, milk in fridge, tea, coffee, crumpets etc. They would definitely stay again! Thank you Lisa

We had a wonderful stay at Helen and Tom's place. Our hosts were helpful throughout whenever we made contact. The Stable is a cosy place tastefully decorated throughout. We would consider staying here again in the future.

Kate’s place is such a cosy bolthole to explore Hastings from. Has a well equipped small kitchen, good WiFi, super comfortable bed. Good heating etc also very nearby to local friends for us. Kate is also a great host & was quick at communicating and checking we were all ok. Would highly recommend !

Had a great stay. Lovely place with so many extras to make things easier - breakfast foods, toiletries etc. Peaceful, beautiful location.

We loved our stay here. The Annex is exactly as described and as per the photos, although the main room feels even more spacious due to the high ceiling. It's easy to find, the parking sounds a bit tricky and as if neighbours might be fussy but that's not the case at all and once you arrive it all makes sense. It's in the middle of the countryside so other than walking to the lake you do need to get in the car for everything but roads are easy, not too much traffic. Sabrina has thought of everything to make the place beautiful but also very practical. I think of all the Airbnbs we have stayed in this had the most "extras". The breakfast provided was really generous, not just cereals and milk but orange juice, eggs, fruit and bread too. There are little extra touches everywhere - bathrobes and slippers, nail kit, shower toiletries, plenty of loo rolls, mindful colouring books, lots of books to read, lots of DVDs, brochures for local places of interest. Highly recommended!!

We had a lovely stay at Joanna’s place! It was perfectly situated with easy buses in to Brighton centre or a walkable distance if you wanted to! Everything in the home was spotless! With parking on the drive if you needed it. Joanna was quick in responses and put us at ease with all of our questions being answered. The check in was super easy, when entering there was everything you would need for the perfect stay!

Very comfortable and clean annexe, separate from the main house. Bed very comfortable, good shower. The main room has a lovely peaceful, garden view. Handy for the station and ‘Little Chelsea’ and near enough to the seafront. Thank you John for a great stay.

Great apartment, looks as described, super clean and tidy, super cosy, great location right by the sea and short walk away from centre but near lots of shops and food places. Excellent stay! X

Sarah’s Garden Suite is perfect for getaways in the East Sussex area. She was helpful and kind and her breakfast was fresh and well cooked. The garden space was also really lovely after a busy day.

What can I say other than wow. This beautiful Airbnb is incredibly peaceful, in a gorgeous location and perfectly presented. Sarah is one of the best hosts I have had, not only was she incredibly friendly, helpful but she went out of her way to make me feel right at home and offered a delicious breakfast in the mornings too. I wish I could rate this Airbnb higher than 5 stars because its worth double that. I will definitely be back in the future.

I had such a lovely stay at Joanne’s place! The views were breathtaking! The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. Joanne was a thoughtful and responsive host, making check-in super smooth and offering great local recommendations. The location was peaceful but still convenient for getting around. I’d definitely stay here again—highly recommend to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming place to stay!

Had a great stay to visit family locally. Lovely comfy bed, good shower and well equipped kitchen. Would happily stay again. Thank you Lesley for the selection of goodies on the table and milk in the fridge.

Lovely location and grounds. We ate at the gastro pub across the road - pricy but food delicious with excellent service and atmosphere. Photos reflect the accommodation perfectly. Well equipped and comfortable. Ashdown Forest is close-by with stunning walks and scenery. Annette was attentive and friendly, but not intrusive, kindly leaving us milk and a delicious cake on arrival.

This was a fantastic little space for us to crash out halfway through a marathon hike. It was extremely well presented, spotlessly clean, and had the bonus of a superb balcony area for chilling and reflecting after a hard day's walking. Breakfast was even provided, which was an unexpected treat. Great communication from the host throughout.

Fabian and his family are extremely friendly, unfortunately we didn't have a lot of time to spend with them. Definitely we will go back. His place is a bus away from the centre and is really close to the bus stops. The room was enough for a couple with a suite it was warm and clean. I definitely recommend it! ☺️

Steve's place was perfect for our two-night stay. Although very compact, it had everything we needed, and Steve and Jo had added lots of welcoming touches, including breakfast things and even an Easter egg! There are beautiful walks on the South Downs on the doorstep, and Steve and Jo provided lots of useful information about restaurants and things to do in Lewes. Recommended!

A very nice apartment with everything you need in central location. James was very friendly and helpful during my stay.

A Hidden Gem! 🌿🌼 This property was spotless and super easy to access without meeting the host. It offered a wonderful sense of privacy, making it a perfect little retreat. The garden was my favorite spot – I enjoyed my morning tea while soaking in the soothing birdsong. 🌸🐦 The shower was refreshing, and while the bed was a tad soft on one side, I still had a good sleep. A lovely touch – the host even left a homemade loaf of bread for breakfast! 🙌🍞 With both TV and WiFi available, plus easy parking, this place had it all. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing escape!

Had a lovely weekend at Kristen’s place. Very cosy, spacious and modern. We commenced our hike through the Country Park from the property, rather than drive to start point. Also a short walk to George Street, the Old Town and the sea front. Would highly recommend.
