Cabin in the wild at Sugar Rock Ranch

Set on 39 acres on the Far South Coast you'll find a cleared block of land in the bush, a place called Sugar Rock Ranch. Located opposite the northern end of the Beowa National Park in Eden, the perfect location for eco-conscious travellers in search of getaways full of quiet, nostalgia and adventures outdoors. Things are kept simple here, the atmosphere is relaxed and casual (like it’s owners) the way a cabin in the bush should be with a down-to-earth feel and a great appreciation for nature.

The Bird and Bike

This little flat, built into the end of our shed, is simple but quirky. Don't expect all brand spanking new plates and cutlery from Ikea - we've upcycled almost everything (except linen and towels). Set 30 metres from the main house, you'll have privacy to come and go as you please, but we love a chat if you do too! We're on 5 acres. Birdlife is right outside your door (- often including our chickens!). We're ten minutes walk from a beautiful estuary beach and 4km out of Marlo township.

Koala Kottage

Koala Kottage’s refurbished interior features a living area, dining area, exquisite large en suite bathroom with garden courtyard view and an ultra modern fully equipped kitchen . There is also an eating area and BBQ outside on the vine covered deck or make use of the seated fire pit area with a barbecue cooking plate . The Kottage features vaulted timber lined ceilings with sky light. Surrounded by a natural habitat of gum trees, koalas, kangaroos and colourful native birds.

Forget your worries in this private and spacious renovated lower level. Just steps away from Cocora beach. Studio living area with private bathroom, queen bed, lounge, TV with Netflix, dining table, fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and an outdoor BBQ and fire pit. Upstairs is occupied by Jayde, Daniel and their toddler, who work full-time and spend their free time diving. Scuba, snorkelling and freediving packages, plus equipment hire is available with Dive Eden.

Kings View, Kings Cove, Metung

As evidenced by the feature photo, the house offers sweeping views of Lake King and the Boole Poole Peninsula. This panoramic view now includes the Metung Hot Springs resort, our new neighbours, positioned some 20 metres from our water view deck. The property offers spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean and has absolute beach frontage and immediate access (3-minute easy walk) to beach and the Tura beach golf course. Our family beach house since the 1970's, it has many traditional Australian beach house features and is filled with memories! It's located right on top of Merimbula's primary peninsula, long point, and a 2-3 minute walk away from beautiful bar beach.
