The Hawks Nest has been lovingly restored to its original glory while having all the modern-day amenities woven through its clean 380 sq. ft. space. Retreat to the spacious covered porch to relax and view the acre-and-half property leading down to 100ft of 6Mile Lake frontage. Star gaze while relaxing in the comfortable, Amish-built gilding chairs around the spacious, paver fire pit area .

Rustic cabin originally built in 1951, less than a mile from Elk Rapids and 12 miles from downtown Traverse City! Boat launches and beaches in every direction. I want to reiterate the rustic aspect. The cabin is old. The tile is marked in places, the carpet weathered. The places has..character. The cabin features an older section with a unique cedar-wood kitchen, a more modern living room, 2 bedrooms and a full bath. The living room and master bedroom have sliders to a large deck that has a commanding view of the lake. Modern, fully-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities included. Quiet relaxation awaits.

Beautiful cabin close to trail-head, Cub Lake and Bear Lake. Perfect for hunters, ATV’s, snowmobiles and fishing. We are close to restaurants, the casino and Traverse City wineries.
