Waterfront Haven Apartment

Designed by 1 + 2 Architects and built by VOS our home won a HIA award in 2005. Part of our brief to the architects was to design a part of the home where our guests could have complete privacy and feel spoilt . It has become a sanctuary for many people . Recently our local renowned Interior Designer has visited the apartment . The result is spectacular and calming . Quality furniture is enhanced by soft furnishings from Adairs. Professionally laundered bed linen adds to the sense of luxury.

Glass Holme – Panoramic Views, Luxury Stay

Glasshouse is a one-of-a-kind architectural gem. Perched high, with sweeping views over the Derwent River, it's the perfect place to lose yourself in the ever changing expansive views. Stunning sunrises and moon rises over the water. Nestled in nature with wildlife on the front lawns, yet just a hop, skip, and jump away from vibrant coffee shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Experience floor-to-ceiling windows that stretch across two stories, a loft-style bedroom, and a luxurious bath.

We want to offer visitors to Hobart a unique & luxurious accommodation experience, which connects modern design with its rugged, bush environment. Located in West Hobart, we are a short 8 minute drive to the Salamanca water front. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Laneway hideaway

Our architect designed, garden roof cabin was built in 2020 to take in views across they valley to knocklofty. North facing the sun warms this house with the passive solar design maintaining a steady temperature. To complement this there is a wood fire for grey days and a sliding door and bifold windows for hot ones. Ply lining and exposed rafters give the house a cabin feel creating a retreat feeling. Different outdoor spaces provide great options to soak in the sun and neighbourhood.

Snug Haus

In the foothills of the Snug Tiers, with amazing views over Storm Bay, Snug Haus awaits. Experience the peace of Tasmanian country life, surrounded by nature and wildlife, only half an hour from the centre of Hobart. Breakfast food is supplied and you can enjoy a leisurely 11am checkout. Le Forestier — Mountain Stone Cottage

Escape to our charming stone cottage, surrounded by whispering trees and embraced by the foothills of Mt Wellington, offering a serene getaway. Explore nearby hiking trails and unwind by the crackling fireplace in the evenings. Perfect for couples looking to reconnect with nature, our cottage promises a rejuvenating experience amidst beautiful surroundings. Just a short 10-minute drive from Hobart, the location seamlessly blends city convenience with the tranquility of the mountain.

The Studio: unique seclusion & private beach

An epic location at the end of a private road is a fully self-contained studio designed by renowned Tasmanian architects Circa Morris-Nunn . Beautiful and wild, historic and sensitive to its surrounds. The Studio is edged by Pittwater Estuary and the Coal River. A remote hideaway just 30 mins from Hobart and 15 mins to Richmond and Coal River wineries and restaurants.. Relax and unwind on your own private beach. Enjoy the art, some of which has been made in the studio itself.

Modern sun-drenched townhouse with magical views

Architecturally designed to capture all day sun, this modern townhouse boasts stunning vistas towards sunrise over the River Derwent. This prime location is only a stone’s throw from South Hobart’s trendy cafés, and is within walking distance of the CBD. This stylish open planned townhouse provides all the creature comforts plus a private courtyard, undercover carport, and double shower-heads. Downstairs, a queen-sized bed with all the trimmings will best suit a couples getaway.

Jan's Studio

Jan's Studio has a cosy queen sized bed, and a small lounge-kitchen space equipped with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. There is WiFi and off-street parking. The space is a separate dwelling looking onto a beautiful garden. It is set in a peaceful neighbourhood and is a short walk to local parks, cafes, and restaurants. Jan's studio lies at the foot of kunanyi/Mount Wellington, and is less than 3 km to Hobart and Salamanca, with its popular Saturday market.

Pipeline Chalet kunanyi / Mt Wellington is an architect designed residence, with privacy and a spectacular mountain environment on your doorstep, just 15 minutes from Hobart's CBD. The kitchen has stone benches with stools and a gas cooktop with all the utensils to cook up a hearty meal. A king bed in the mezannine and a sofa bed in the lounge sleeps 4. There is a smart TV with WiFi included, with forest and nature immediately outside and a sun drenched outdoor living space.

Laneway 98 - Designer Luxe Cottage on City Fringe

Laneway 98 is a charming retreat nestled in the heart of South Hobart. Offering a blend of modern luxury and historic charm, the late 1800's worker’s cottage has been renovated to the highest standard, utilising original features where possible. The ideal base for exploring Hobart and its surrounds. Only a 5-minute walk to the Cascade Brewery, Cascades Female Factory, and the South Hobart rivulet. If you venture a little further, you will find the CBD and Salamanca waterfront.
