This recently converted self contained private detached modern annexe is located within 15 minutes walk of Durham City centre with its world class University and Cathedral and is great for both holiday and business travellers. The Annexe is in the grounds of our larger house occupied by us, situated at the end of a private road near to Durham City centre. The annexe is totally self contained and has its own allocated parking space next to it together with private decked area with Cathedral views

It's only a quick 5 minute drive to great restaurants, breweries, and shops in downtown Wilmington. It's also less than 20 minutes to Mt. Snow. There's great hiking at Molly Stark State Park right across the street and amazing lakes all within a 10 minute drive! No WIFI and cell service is not great so it is a great place to unplug!

After a fire ravaged our first cabin in 2024, we imagined, designed, and rebuilt a space that allows nature to take center stage. The architecture is raw yet thoughtful. The materials, the lines, the light: everything is there to give way to what truly matters—the view, the space, and the element.

This is an old, renovated milk barn on a working farm. Both of the sleeping spaces are lofts that require climbing stabilized, vertical wooden ladders. There is a cast iron stove for heat, running water, kitchen, living room & bathroom.
