Great host, great apartment, highly recommended

This is a beautiful property very well maintained, comfortable and in a lovely location just minutes from the town. Old Course golf club 10mins walk so everything is so convenient. No bother checking in and out and all instructions to hand. We had a lovely few days and would highly recommend this property for anyone visiting St. Andrews.

We loved the location of the flat and the ability to sit outside. It was very comfortable and everything was provided to make our stay comfortable....and a few little extras. Ground floor and east access is important and met our needs. Gemma's communications were very friendly and helpful.We would recommend this wee place for a wee stay.

We had a terrific stay on City Rd. It is an amazing location, with convenient walks to all of St Andrew’s’ major attractions … and the apartment is in excellent condition / what must have been a relatively recent renovation with modern bathrooms etc. The bedrooms were bright and comfortable and the heating system (very important in StA’s) super easy to use. All up, we were very happy with our stay and value for money.

Een appartement dat oor een groep golfers geweldig is. Vier kamers met en-suite badkamers. Een goede living met grote TV. In het centrum van Gullane. Alles voldeed aan de verwachtingen. Omdat er geen huurders waren de dag ervoor, konden wij al om 09.00 uur het appartement in. Dat hebben wij zeer op prijs gesteld.

I felt like a celebrity in this beautiful and quiet flat, right off the main action of Edinburghs center. The bed was comfy and had sparkling white sheets. The bathtub was just perfect for a soak after all the walking we did. The kitchen set up was perfectly stocked with tea, coffee and breakfast essentials, plus or host gave us great info on local shops for any other needs. We got the inside scoop on some of the best local restaurants and bars. Oh! And a jar of homemade Scottish Shortbread greeted us on our arrival! Absolutely worth every penny, and every step it takes to get to the flat. I didn't want to leave this chic little jewel in Edinburgh.

Excellent place to stay. Perfect location and flat was clean and cosy. Lovely extra touches which were appreciated. Hosts provided fantastic information regarding the area and places to eat. Will most definitely return.

Mike was so helpful and communicative! So easy to talk to and went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of!

A great place to stay in Callander. It is on the main road but isn't noisy, very handily right across from Tesco and 30 seconds round the back is access to the river (good for dog walking). We did drive past the parking spot at first but having a place to put the car is great. 8 minute drive to the bottom of Ben Ledi walk - which I would recommend. Very comfortable space big enough for 2 and a dog, had pans/knives/boards etc. Also had salt/pepper/oil which is helpful. Emma was responsive and kindly let us check out flexibly as noone else had booked in.

We had a lovely stay here. Easily accessible for my granny that was travelling with me. Both the bed and sofa bed were really comfy! Well equipped kitchen and really appreciated the milk and other bits provided. Great location for attending events at the OVO. Would definitely stay again.

It is a beautiful and spacious apartment tucked away in Birnam. The apartment is welcoming and stylish. Conveniently close to the train station if you're travelling by public transport, and there is plenty of on street parking if you're driving. Birnam is within walking distance of Dunkeld (about 15 minutes) where there is more amenities. We recommend visiting the Birnam Arts Centre which is at the end of the road from the apartment, it is a lovely space and has a good cafe (reasonably priced too). If you're able to get to Pitlochry, we highly recommend a meal at The Wee Choo Choo restaurant (set in a converted train carriage, one that featured in Mission Impossible), the food was delicious and the staff lovely. Ali was a great and friendly host, very helpful and responsive, and provided local recommendations. We would definitely stay here again.

Had an excellent repeat stay at this lovely apartment which is in a fantastic central location. Owner/managing agent responsive and very helpful.

First of all, Ryan let me drop my bags at the flat around 11A, which was SO nice, and opened up my options for day #1 sightseeing. The flat is in a great location: away from the hubbub of Princes Street (where I spent the first two nights due to a change in plans, and don’t get me wrong, Princes Street is great, but it’s hopping), but 11 stops (22 min) on the 10 bus from Princes Street, if that’s where you’re headed. Two highlights: 1) The laundry game here is STRONG, including a descending drying rack in the laundry room which I’m 100% going to copy as soon as I get home. 2) GREAT shower. I used the tub mat, because if I fall in the shower, it’s going to be bad. 3) Convenience store across the street, Lidl (grocery) within a mile walk. Take your bag to both, as a reminder (I had to run back across the street). Thanks, Ryan. I hope to be back next year for the Edinburgh curling tournament. John

A warm and spacious apartment, exactly the centrally located staging point for our visit to Edinburgh. There was a clear day view of the Firth over Leith Street from the living room. But also a bright and easy to use kitchen; a well lit bathroom and shower; and a lovely little desk nook if you need to set up a laptop (with WiFi access made simple with clear instructions and a memorable password). The apartment was also roughly equidistant in terms of walking to the places we wanted to visit (down Leith; to the farther reaches of Princes Street; across the bridge from the Royal Mile). A perfect place

The flat was fantastic and felt like a home from home. Rosie was a truly marvellous host and provided a wonderful selection of goodies to get me going. The communication was first rate and provided me with all the information I needed about local amenities. Nothing was too much trouble and it was so lovely to be dealing with someone who really wanted to make sure that I got the most out of my time in Peebles. She also made sure that my wee dog had everything she needed. I can’t fault the flat or Rosie and I would definitely return. Superb all round.

Great flat in a great location, with very receptive hosts. Bathrooms could do with a really deep clean- that’s the only negative.

We had a great stay at Ollie's apartment in April 2025. It's very close to Haymarket station, and all the amenities you need are on the doorstep. The flat is clean, tidy and secure, and it was great to be able to use the pool next door. We'd love to stay again!

What a spot! The accommodation was exactly as described, well appointed, loch views, loads of space, super comfortable, amazing! We had the best time and will definitely be looking to return. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to get away, some peace and quiet with loads to do if the notion takes you. Thank you so much :)

Alan is a friendly host, and was very helpful when we needed anything. The place was super clean, the room was a perfect size for 2 people. The area is good, with groceries stores around and a couple of buses that take you central in 25-30mins. Overall, really enjoyed my stay!

A great base for golf at Gleneagles and the surrounding area. Really comfortable apartment with all you need for self catering. Spot on communication from the hosts made for straightforward check in and out. Would happily recommend.

I spent nearly four months in Wendy's accommodation. I had a great time there! The apartment itself offers great views, and the room is very comfortable. It is easily accessible by bus and has a good connection to the city centre and main University Campus, as well as being close to a big supermarket and the beach. Being on the outskirts of the city and by the sea, it made it very easy to find peace, walking along the beach or visiting my personal favourite place, Newhailes Estate. For those coming to study here: the bus connection to the University of Edinburgh's King's Buildings is not great, especially on the way back, and if you'll have to be there a lot I'd recommend getting a bicycle, which is about twice as fast. Wendy is a very friendly host, who is usually not home during the day but if you run into her and she has time she will be open for a chat - for example sharing stories or music. She loves baking, and might leave something she made in the fridge for you!

Fantastic stay! Great accommodation, great facilities, restaurant on site and over at the courtyard were fantastic. Hot box spa is a must if in the area!

Had a great stay at Ollies apartment. We wanted to come a day earlier and that was accommodated for us very well. Swimming with the kids is a great thing too. Apartment has everything you would need. The best thing about the place for me is the location. At the back you have Fountain Park which has lots to do with kids. Only a few minutes away from Haymarket Station which has trams to Princes street. The guest book provided by Ollie has everything inside you would need. Supermarkets and restaurants are all close by. Would definitely return
