We found the house to comfortable and clean, the beds were great with good quality mattresses and linen. The lounge was very comfortable and a good size. It was good to have the drive way as the streets around had a lot of cars fighting for space. The house is in an estate that has some really run down properties/areas but the house itself is next to some nice friendly neighbours (Annie with the two Chihuahuas!) We found it to be quiet at night. The cons: quite far away from town, you could walk but it's about 30 mins. There are some niggly issues with squeaky hinges, dodgy door handles and a window that wouldn't shut properly in the bathroom, but these were irritations rather than deal breakers. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

This was an amazing place for us to stay as an extended family. There were nine of us, plus two dogs, and we rented the Doocot and the Lodge in the grounds. It is located right up in the hills and was blissfully remote yet easily accessible to the A90 to Perth and Dundee. The house itself was very comfortable and exactly as described. The sitting room was amazing with its enormously high ceilings, plenty of squishy sofas and a piano. There was also a Smart TV. For us, the best feature was the enormous dining table which easily seated us all and could have taken several other people too. We had lovely meals together all round the table. It was really memorable. The bathrooms were clean and new. The roll top bath was lovely and super to soak in. Check in, host communications etc were all super easy and they even helped us to have a hot tub ready for our arrival from Fife Hot Tub Hire. All in all, would highly recommend to people looking for a comfortable break away in the hills.

We love this place and felt very at home. Hot shower, comfortable beds, heating and all the modern appliances we needed with full kitchen. Anzelika has thought of everything and there was nothing we could suggest to improve her place, it’s just perfect.

We had a wonderful stay in Elie. Ann’s house is in a great location with lots of lovely touches. We particularly enjoyed the Bluetooth mirror in the bathroom! Great garden for dogs and family alike, nice and secure.

We had an amazing time in St Andrews and Janice’s place was perfect for 6 adults on a golf trip. It was spacious, clean and the best location. I would highly recommend it

Quite an amazing place! Perfect for large groups, huge rooms and beds, quiet spaces, congregational spaces and loads to do around. Gillian was fantastic and would hope to go again!

Sally’s home was 5/5. It was so comfy, great location and a real home from home. Wish we could have stayed there longer and we would definitely come back. It was quiet too, just the perfect choice!

Perfectly lovely stay, easily accessible flat, not mobility friendly, but this isn't anyones fault. The area is lovely and out of the way but only a roughly £10 Uber from centre of Edinburgh, but there is a bus stop within a 2 mins walk. This location made it very easy to go in and out to explore. Very quiet in the evenings which was much appreciated after the busy touristy centre. The flat was spotless and well kept. Only thing I can recommend is make sure you stop at a supermarket or get food/drink/ want you want before journeying back to b&b.

Sue And Grant foram sempre muito prestáveis, ajudaram-nos em todos os aspectos possíveis, respondiam rapidamente às nossas questão e fizeram-nos sentir em casa. o Apartamento está muito bem localizado, próximo de paragens de autocarros e a 15m do centro. Apesar de ser um espaco pequeno, está muito bem equipado, rentabilizado e decorado, sendo o único aspeto menos positivo, a qualidade do colchão da cama (mole e pouco confortável, pelo menos para nós). Vale muito a pena pelo seu todo todo, voltávamos sem pensar duas vezes.

I booked this place for myself, my partner and an 8 yo for our last stay of our trip to Scotland. 4 days was sufficient for us to slow down in this 1st floor apartment in a quiet neighborhood. We didn’t use the kitchen much, but was fully functional and stocked with essential kitchen items for our use. Loved the kitchen counter space. In general, the apartment gave us the freedom and space to spread out and relax. I didn’t mind at all the comfy brown leather sofa alternative mentioned from a previous post, but decor sofa pillows are filled with feathers and were poking through in case anyone was allergic to bird feathers or have sensory issues. Bathroom was absolutely the best from our entire trip. We utilized the W/D. Drafted instructions and the machine manual was available in the W/D closet but might’ve conflicted a bit. Hang drying is a quintessential experience in the UK as the dryer doesn’t dry as thoroughly as my partner preferred. Would recommend this place and stay here again

The Upper Villa was a great place to in Edinburgh. Easy walking distance to Stockbridge for groceries, food, shopping and drinks. Ubers and buses available to Olde Town and other places near Victoria Street and Holyrood. Rona was very accommodating, even letting us borrow her meat thermometer for a delicious meal prepared by our friends from Norway. I would highly recommend this flat for your stay in Edinburgh!!

We really enjoyed staying at Helen’s modern flat in Dundee. It is central and easy to walk into the town centre within a few minutes. Plenty to see and do at the water front including the fabulous V&A but we were there mainly to see family. The flat is spotlessly clean and spacious. Love the ease of having two bathrooms when staying with 4 people. Lovely big dining table which we used a lot to cook for the family. There is a balcony for sunnier weather but I’d probably make it more private since it’s at street level and people do pass by. The kitchen was fairly well equipped but maybe a few extras would be good like a pizza cutter and more cutlery. All in all, we really enjoyed this modern, comfortable and spacious flat. We would definitely recommend it. Helen was also very prompt in replying when we asked questions. Thank you for a great stay!

Hana’s apartment was great: quiet, comfy, full of natural light. It was super nice to stay with our baby.

Jonathan was a great host - even coming to meet us from the bus stop when there was a road closure & arranging a late check out at no extra cost. The flat is brilliantly positioned for food shopping & public transport & is quiet, spotlessly clean & well equipped. The communal staircase definitely needs redecorating but that didn’t bother us once we were inside the flat, as it was so cosy & homely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you, Jonathan.

Fantastic place, exactly as described just steps from the 18th green at the Old course. A little tight if more than two people but that is clear from the photos - no surprises!

Jane's property was fantastic. Everything you could want is provided in a great central location with an amazing view across the Tay. Internet is fast enough for streaming tv and the beds were extremely comfortable. Car park felt secure too. Jane's comms were quick and helpful. Thank you.

Fabulous place to stay in Stonehaven, location great, apartment well presented, clean and comfortable with fantastic view of the bay. Dean is a great host providing lots of helpful information and recommendations. We appreciated the welcome pack and gift 🎁. There are lovely strolls from the apartment and also a fabulous walk to Dunnottar Castle. We couldn't have wished for a nicer place to stay.

JoAnn’s apartment is perfectly located in the center of St. Andrews. From the apartment, all amenities such as pubs, shopping, and the Old Course golf courses are within walking distance. The apartment itself is exactly as described – perfect for 6 adults, with good bedrooms, a nice kitchen, and great social spaces. The parking spot at the back is a great bonus. I can truly recommend this accommodation!
