A very comfortable and cosy cottage set in beautiful gardens with great views. We had a delightful 2 night stay and were visited by a red squirrel and pheasant in the garden. Only negative is the access. As mentioned in the notes about the property there is a climb of some 24 steps before you reach the cottage. This may be very difficult for the infirm or elderly with heavy luggage. Otherwise a delightful stay and host.

Lovely find. The Smoke House is like stepping into a warm hug. We all loved the quirkiness of it. The fabulous social spaces. Really enjoyed our stay. So generously stocked with essentials.

The property is as described easy to find with parking in the drive. Corner Shop nearby. You can see the Holy Isle at the end of the road overlooking the golf course. It had everything we needed during our visit to see family. It is lovely and cosy. Our granddaughter loved all the little birds in the back garden. Highly recommend.

As soon as we saw the views we knew we had to book and we were not disappointed! The views and accommodation are as per photos and we felt right at home! We had everything we needed in the property and in Johnshaven itself! We had a lovely meal at The Anchor Hotel, which we’d recommend, as well as a delicious ice cream at the hidden tea room! We hope to return in the near future!

Great place to stay, very clean and nicely set up beautiful decor. Private garden which was nice and dog friendly. Well worth a visit and I certainly hope to stay again in the future.

We’ve been going to st fillans for many years and loved how close this was to the Loch and the play park as well as being handy for walks! Sean was very accommodating to a request we made and communicated well with us throughout. Will happily stay again in the near future!

This is the third time we have rented Ashleigh’s amazing home - first for our Son’s wedding and twice for our family ‘Fake Christmas’. It is the PERFECT place to prepare and serve a large family dinner, spacious, great equipment/utensils and comfortable. The house was decorated beautifully with a gorgeous tree, Christmas bed linen and other decorations. Ashleigh even left little treats for our Grandchildren! Her attention to detail is second to none! I truly believe that we couldn’t find a place anywhere more suited to our needs. Ashleigh is extremely attentive and responds to messages quickly and informatively. Nothing is too much trouble. I cannot recommend Ashleigh’s home highly enough. It ticks every box, amazing host, fantastic space and brilliant location. We can’t wait to come back!

Jane’s house is perfectly located by the sea and the Fife coastal walk is close by. We went for walks and visited some of the nearby towns. There are plenty of places to eat and drink. When you’re back in the house there is a very comfortable sitting room. The showers are nice and hot and the heating was perfectly set for us. There is a log fire but we didn’t need it. Jane provides everything you need We loved our stay and would highly recommend others to give it a try.

This location is absolutely PERFECTION!!! The apartment was so nice and spacious and had everything we needed. The location is so wonderfully situated right on the Royal Mile of Old Towne. I will say our initial Uber driver dropped us off one street “off” but we pulled up google maps and found it fairly easy but for someone not as tech savvy I would put in one of the landmarks next to the apartment. But do not that deter you, this property is WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

The apartment is located on a quiet street off the grassmarket, with lots of restaurants nearby and perfect for exploring Old Town on foot. You can see Edinburgh Castle from the living room, and it's a 10-minute to the top of the hill (if you don't get distracted by all of the shops along the way). Susie and Amit are wonderful hosts. They welcomed us with fresh bread and pastry from a local bakery, which we paired with cheeses from a cheesemonger just up the street (Mellis Cheese Victoria Street). They also accommodated our request for an early check-in after our overnight international flight (a lifesaver), and they were quick to answer any questions when we arrived, even making a special trip over to check on the shower while we were sightseeing. The apartment's decor was very warm and comfortable, with thoughtful touches throughout. We made good use of the table, which seats up to 4 people, and found that the kitchen covered all of our basic necessities. A great stay!

Amazing location, close to all the main attractions and plenty of places to eat/drink near by!

Modern and spacious living space right in the center of beautiful Crail. Easy walk down to the harbor, local restaurants, and other nearby attractions. Great access to parking and super quiet.

Great flat in a beautiful location. There are stairs to get down into main entrance of building which were a little difficult for one of our reduced mobility travelers but we made it work! Very much enjoyed our stay and Ross sent great information and instructions on how to get in.

In aller Kürze: zentral, historisch, super Gastgeberin- perfekt für einen Aufenthalt in Edinburgh und uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen. Pubs/leckere Restaurants, die Royal Mile direkt vor der Haustüre , alle bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen - geht kaum besser!

A gem right in the middle of Old Town! Everything we wanted to see was accessible steps from the street entrance. The only drawback for one of our party was getting up the four flights of stairs. Pack light for this booking. Thank you Charlotte for sharing your lovely place!

Busra’s place was in the ideal location in the middle of new town. Easy walk to the Castle and Royal Mile, and had plenty if great restaurants within a block. The space itself is roomier than we thought, and served as an excellent place to relax after a day of sightseeing. I cannot recommend her place more

It was a wonderful place to stay with great scenic views and a peaceful atmosphere . The hosts Alexandra and David were such great people which made the stay even more pleasant. Would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable house right in the heart of Newtonmore - was a perfect location for a family winter break. Lots of space with 2 lounges and generously sized bedrooms. Really well equipped with everything you could need in the kitchen in particular plus lots of games and books for the wet days (there were a few!). Off-street parking, nearby co-op shop and responsive hosts made for a stress free and enjoyable stay. We hope to be back!

What an amazing house and location. We have had a magical Christmas with everything we needed; walks, tennis, piano. The layout of the house and expansive living space suited us very well. The dog was as thrilled as her humans. The kitchen/dining room/glassware/crockery/cutlery are genuinely set up for a huge number which makes catering so much easier. As long as you don’t mind a short walk, Banchory is accessible by foot- you need a head torch in Winter! Definitely on the repeat list!

The host with friendly, kind and always helpful. We did not want to leave this place was amazing and so relaxing. Just what the doctor ordered. Exceptional

Excellent place with very good rooms and en suite bathrooms. The rooms on the second level were a bit small but very comfortable. The living area was huge and the kitchen was very well equipped. The hot tub was a great addition and helped us a lot when we returned from golf. The location is very good and an easy 10 min drive to the main part of the city. The drive to St Andrews was very easy and convenient. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I would highly recommend this Airbnb.

This is a lovely house with beautiful views in a fantastic location! We got very lucky with sunny weather during our stay meaning we could make the most of the gorgeous surroundings - we did white water rafting on the River Tay and enjoyed the Taymouth Marina spa, all of which were a short drive away from the house. The house was just as described and pictured and the hosts were great - they were very responsive and flexible, allowing us to have both an early checkin and late check out. There is a good amount of parking at the property and the kitchen was well stocked with all amenities you could need. The house is on a main road but it is not busy and traffic noise was not an issue. I would definitely recommend this house to a group.

Stayed here for 2 nights with 5 other adults - one of the best decisions! As a start, check-in was smooth. Everyone has their bed, towels which is great. Had to figure out the heater (our country is Summer all year) and Lukas was very responsive. This location is almost a straight drive to the city centre. With free parking at the location, it gave us great relief to know we won’t get penalised. Love this place! I would recommend this to others.
