Karen Marie is one of the best hosts we have ever stayed with. She was incredibly gracious and accommodating and went well out of her way to make our trip easier and more enjoyable. She was also a wealth of knowledge on the local area and gave us some great walking tips. Staying with her is one of the best ways to enjoy Birnam and Dunkeld.

Lesley and her husband were really nice and friendly. The room was easy to get access to, without having to bother them. it was clean and the facilities were excellent. would recommend.

Karen's property is as described and is a private room with en-suite and breakfasting area accessed by a separate entrance from the main house. The accommodation is very comfortable, there is ample storage and is in excellent decorative order. A continental breakfast, which was very welcome, is provided and includes homemade muffins. The property is situated in a peaceful garden in a quiet part of St Andrews and it takes 15-20' to walk to the town centre. Karen is an excellent host, responsive and friendly. We very much enjoyed our stay, would happily return and recommend the property without reservation.

I stayed at Lesley’s place for four nights to attend the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship across Kingsbarns Golf Links and the Old Course, St Andrews. The place itself is perfect - the home is so cozy and warm. The bed was so comfortable, and the pillows and bedding was so clean - I really appreciated it. The bathroom was in perfect condition as well! Even though I was leaving the place so early in the morning and getting back pretty late, the home was so accessible, and I could come and go without worrying about waking anyone up! Cupar is in such a fantastic location too, the commute to the golf courses was so easy and straightforward. I had been looking forward to this trip for so long, and the airbnb paired with such a beautiful golf tournament made this weekend one that I will never forget. If you’re ever thinking of visiting this part of Scotland - whether you’re interested in golf or not - I would highly recommend Lesley’s place!

Notre passage dans la maison de Midge fut rapide car nous n'y passions qu'une nuit mais elle n'en était pas moins agréable ! La maison était bien cachée mais Midge nous avait parfaitement indiqué le chemin et nous l'avons donc trouvée sans difficulté. Nous avons été accueillies avec un grand sourire et avons séjourné dans une magnifique pièce avec une grande chambre très lumineuse et une superbe salle de bain. Nous avions également accès à un espace de détente avec une magnifique vue sur l'extérieur. De plus, la maison se trouve à côté de la forêt et ce fut donc avec un grand plaisir que je suis allée me promener ! Merci Midge pour ce très bel endroit, j'espère pouvoir revenir et n'hésitez pas à repasser dans la Loire ! ^_^

Friendly and helpful hostess. A bit of the grid when it came to bus connections etc, but Janice took us up the road the time we needed it.

Moira and Stuart were friendly welcoming hosts and we had a very comfortable stay in their lovely home. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was lovely coming back to a comfy bed and a good night's sleep after a busy wedding. Moira prepared a lovely breakfast for us each morning. We were given good advice about a lovely riverside walk into St Andrews.

We were warm and very comfortable in this spotlessly clean apartment. Being winter, we were unable to use the lovely area at the back of the property with views along to the river Tay. Nothing to pick fault with although a few more mugs would have suited us tea drinkers! A lovely stay!

This was a lovely place to stay with stunning views of the tay and the host Mandy was incredibly helpful and accommodating. I really enjoyed my time here

Wonderful place and lovely host and good communication. The location is great with lots of places nearby to visit, only thing about the property is that the mattresses are a bit old and not very comfy

I stayed at the Giddy Limit for a couple of nights before my wedding and it was the perfect location to get ready! The apartment is in a beautiful house and gardens, has loads of natural night and even a view to the loch from the balcony. Evelyn was extremely communicative and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!

Looked just like the pictures, great amenities, very comfortable stay. From hairdryer and hair straightener, iron etc. I would definitely stay again!

Lovely stay and nice flat in a perfect location. The only minor point was that 2 bedrooms were up a very steep set of ladder-stairs.

Without a shadow of a doubt, the best airbnb we have ever stayed in. The photos really don't do the property justice; so light and airy yet still comfortable. Bags and bags of character; all furnished to a very high standard. Lots of thoughtful touches from the hosts, like phone chargers and adaptors in all the rooms in case you have forgotten anything, and a stash of Tunnocks Teacakes by the kettle! We booked the property as we were visiting St Andrews for a family wedding and needed a four bedroom property, but this would very comfortably accommodate eight adults. Now looking for another reason to visit St Andrews just so we can re-book. Amazing.

I had a very good stay at Heathpark House. Very interesting place. Chris and Meg are great hosts. Breakfasts were amazing. Will stay there again if I am again in that area.

Liz and Charlie were absolutely fabulous hosts. So helpful and attentive! We felt so at ease staying with them. Their B&B is beautifully decorated and has the most relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Well worth staying in if you’re planning to explore Scotland. We can’t wait to come back!

It was the best choice to stay at Shelia's house，Shelia and her husband Ian are very welcoming, I could not find the right way when I arrived at St Andrews, they not only pick up us at the bus station but also sent me to the train station when we left, it was really touching! The room was clean and quiet, there was good breakfast every morning, Shelia also warmly introduced me where to go such as fireworks show in the evening and besides St Andrews she also recommended the city Dundee where we can go to visit. Three days at St Andrews was short but enjoyable tour and I am looking forward to having time to come back to St Andrews and stay at Shelia's house agian.

Super séjour chez Meg & Chris! Une superbe maison et un très bel accueil de la part de Chris & Meg. Notre chambre était spacieuse et très agréable et les chiens sont les bienvenus ! Un petit déjeuné au top et une jolie collection de livres. C'était très agréable ! Bravo !

Chris and Meg were the best hosts! We had such a wonderful night stay in their home. We wished so much we could stay longer, and if we're ever back in the area again we are definitely going to try to tay with them! They were extremely welcoming and lovely to chat to. The bathroom and bedroom were both squeaky clean, beautifully decorated, and cozy, and the home was in a very quiet area. You could tell a lot of thought and care went into everything. The bed was so comfortable! I think we had our best night's sleep there of our whole trip, and definitely the best breakfast too. Chris and Meg served us a delicious breakfast the next morning before we left! We would recommend them to anyone!

A great place for a stop over in Dundee, has to be the best breakfast in Tayside.

Great host, immaculate space that matched description, very friendly, flexible and accommodating. Perfect location quite near the city centre with good transport links. First time using Air BnB and if everyone is half as good as Sheila was, will not be the last! Super value with me lucky to get this as a last minute option to stay in St Andrews over a busy weekend there!

We absolutely loved this place. We were in town for a wedding at Rossie on the Earn. It was the perfect spot (less than a mile from the venue). Parking is right by the door (we have a baby - so quick transitions are key). The private room was very comfortable and comes with an ensuite bathroom with shower. Rosemary also provided us with a full Scottish breakfast - which was delicious, (She even made vegetarian sausages and blood pudding for me). All in all, a fantastic experience. Lovely place, well decorated with a beautiful front garden (perfect for a relaxing morning coffee). We would definitely stay again.
