Once a humble working barn, it evolved into a bustling grain store before being lovingly converted into a cosy king-sized bedroom. Perched between the farmyard and mountains, its position offers break-taking views over Bassenthwaite Lake, and the eastern slopes of Ullock Pike, providing an unforgettable backdrop to your stay. The Lady Maxwell Room - Buittle Castle

Named after Lady Maxwell, a former resident of Buittle Castle, the room is appointed in the Gothic Revival and Arts and Crafts styles. The room is on the ground floor, with its own private access to the courtyard (with one step) and its own ensuite bathroom with shower. Full Scottish or Continental breakfast is included.
