The building itself is a part of Glasgow’s history,completed in 1845 and designed by one of Glasgow’s most celebrated architects, Alexander’Greek’Thompson and is part of Glasgow’s Heritage Trail.

There are about 72 steps up to the flat door (which includes a quirky 24 step spiral stair at the end) and there isn’t a lift. The 180 year old Botanic Gardens are about 100yds away.
