Downtown Keosauqua is less than half a mile and conveniently located near all that this quaint river town has to offer - dining, shopping, bars, trails, kayaking, fishing, hunting and so much more. HI! I'm in the process of renovating the Cottage and update SO MANY things! Like a new kitchen - phew. Hope you enjoy it and I'll update my photo's when it's done! Done! Check it out. Emma’s Cottage is close to great views, family-friendly activities, Nauvoo sites and the Historic Nauvoo Temple. It is good for couples, families, solo adventurers, and business travelers. The cottage was built around the 1940’s. If you enjoy privacy in an authentic environment, then you’ll love it.

Captains Quarters Treehouse

An off the grid whimsical gem in the Ten Acre Treehouse forest! "The Captains Quarters". This is the 2nd treehouse in rural Nauvoo. A lot of the same touches found in "The Whitetail". The first treehouse here, you will find in this nautical inspired creation. This treehouse is a full 2 story, 400 sq foot, and features second story bedroom, sleeper sofa on the first floor, small kitchen area with refrigerator/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, plates, silverware, cups and a sink!

Cousins Airbnb is located on the square in Lancaster, MO. Lancaster was once the home of William P. Hall, known world wide for selling mules and horses. He housed circus animals in huge barns in Lancaster during winter. The apartment is above a small cafe. The private entrance is at the top of an iron staircase in the back The balcony at the top provides a peaceful resting place and view of the town. Parking is located in back, where there is a covered patio for your use.

Lacey state park has many outdoor adventures - Lake Sugema, hunting, fishing & hiking in the forest.

This cabin is nestled by the bridge across from Pittsburgh, Iowa, just a few miles west of Keosauqua. Accommodations not only include the cabin, but also 1.5 acres of flat, riverfront land to play, relax and enjoy nature. A screened porch with seating overlooks the Des Moines river. Guests can also enjoy the outdoor fire ring. The amazing wildlife along the river is absolutely beautiful. If you enjoy the outdoors, hunting, fishing and nature, this is the cabin for you!

This newly remodeled apartment is comfortable and cozy and just a short distance from the city square. We look forward to your visit and hope our lifelong knowledge of the community will enhance your visit. This unit is a completely separate apartment, ready for your stay. Shopping services are also available. There is also a studio apartment available at this location, if more space is needed for additional family or friends.
