We encourage you to explore our variety of activities: horse back riding, hunting, fishing, UTV rentals & more! Tres Molinos has free-roaming wildlife, goats, chickens, cows & exotics. You’re welcome to grab farm fresh eggs from the chicken coop for breakfast! Our animals are free roaming, as well as working dogs that watch over the ranch, so we require that your furry family member/s be leashed at all times when outdoors. Or, just hide away and enjoy a quite weekend. Wander through the charming neighborhood to the top of Mt. Wesley and catch a breathtaking sunset.

Chertecho Tree Tower

Designed to connect with the natural systems of a special place, Chertecho sits among the trees on a 5-acre rocky slope overlooking the Pedernales River Valley. An outdoor stair system connects the three levels - a covered rooftop deck; a second-floor master suite; and a ground floor kitchen space. Glass walls open to the wooded slopes of Big Hill, a ridge separating the Pedernales and Guadalupe watersheds halfway between Comfort and Fredericksburg. A place to unplug, and reconnect.

We wanted to share this property and all its magic with anyone who genuinely appreciates the outdoors. So please enjoy a stay in a natural setting with a catch and release fishing pond, indoor/ outdoor fireplace, and all the quiet one can ask for. Sip your morning coffee to the sounds of wildlife just a few minutes away from downtown Fredericksburg.

The Leaf Treehouse (~300sqft) is perched among sturdy live oaks on our slice of Texas heaven just ten minutes from Main Street Fredericksburg. Its cozy and stylish interior includes a king bed with organic cotton sheets, a thoughtfully stocked kitchenette, a full bathroom with a rain shower, a padded reading nook with a round window, and an outdoor bathtub on the upper deck.
