Such a beautiful stay at the downstairs cottage!! Norita was amazing, greeted us on arrival & explained everything, had fresh eggs & bread for us & some cookies. So many lovely little touches around the house including sweets on the pillows for the kids & a beautifully made cot for my little one. Location is stunning with gorgeous views and a lovely little garden for the kids including a tree house & swing. Couldn’t recommend this place enough. Absolutely stunning 😍

We had a relaxing short stay from 17th - 19th April in this lovely home. It was a perfect location within walking distance to the beach and lots of excellent restaurants. The outdoor area was a beautiful area to sit and enjoy the sunshine- will definitely book this again.

Mary’s place was absolutely stunning. Great views, lovely location. The place was immaculately clean and well equipped. Near lots of beaches, walks, view points. Would recommend!

Dave's house was perfect for our family. It was very clean and there was plenty of room, with the kitchen kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Only a few minutes walk from the beach which is one of the most beautiful on the North Coast. The house has the bedrooms on the ground floor which means you can see the beach from the living room and kitchen which are situated upstairs. Dave was really friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay at his place again. Thanks for a brilliant stay!

The house is in a great location for walking to the beach, nearby pubs and restaurants. And also as a base for exploring the wider area. Internally it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely recommend it.

We had a lovely family stay at Alistair and Jill’s place. The house was spacious, clean and welcoming. The views were gorgeous and we felt right at home. The path to the beach was so exciting for our little girl and she loved the little toy room too. The house had everything we needed and more to make our stay comfortable. We can’t wait to return! Six girlfriends stayed for three nights in this beautiful home. Julion was so helpful and accommodating. This accommodation is perfect for friends to gather. There is plenty of space, well-appointed rooms, and extra touches. For us, we wanted to walk and swim, and this was perfect with access to the beach and outside hot shower. We even used the sauna a few times, too. We had a lovely girlie night, pampering and watching movies. The kitchen was great, perfect for us all to sit and dine in whilst watching the sunset. I would strongly recommend this place for a girls' trip/retreat. Dunfanaghy is excellent for restaurants and drinks and is walkable from the house. NONE of us could find a fault with the house, though it did take us a few tries using the Quooker tap. We will be back and some of the girls are considering booking again for a family trip. We had a lovely May Bank Holiday weekend at Christine's place. Everything you need is in. Spacious living room with beautiful view, well equipped kitchen to prep meals for us and kids. Firepit outside to enjoy smores in the evening. House was clean and well prepared for group of 3 families with kids. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Sean’s place! The house was so comfortable, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The location is amazing-only a 5 minute walk to the beach with stunning views across Enniscrone and a 5 minute walk to the town itself which has some lovely pubs and places to eat. Communication with Sean was excellent and really clear instructions for the house were provided- would not hesitate to recommend a stay here!

Great place to stay, beach is just in front with views from rooms and kitchen. The beach also felt like the private one. Amazing place nearby to explore. Place is worth each penny. Host is also great and welcoming.

Leonora was a fantastic host to me and my friends’ stay. The house was in pristine condition upon arrival with even some snacks and refreshments in the kitchen for us. She was extremely lovely throughout the whole stay and will definitely be choosing her place for if we decide to stay in that area again. Would highly recommend 😁

Connie's property was a pleasure to stay in and perfect for our family of varied age group. The teenagers loved the cinema group and the jacuzzi bath was a hit. The view from the living room is spectacular and the location ideal for both the beach and walks to Portstewart. The house is really well equipped. We had a truly amazing time at Anne-Marie’s house. In 4 nights we spent lots of time on the kayaks, and on the beach BBQing and watching the sunset, and taking dips before breakfast. We loved watching the hares hop up the drive in the early mornings and we had a seal visit the bay. We climbed Errigal, took a day trip to Arranmore on the ferry, took a walk up to Crohy Head and enjoyed Maghery beach. The house is beautiful, and filled with light, and we slept very peacefully. We really could not have loved our stay here more. Perfect!

Andrew's home exceeded our expectations. It was bright, spacious, very comfortable & had everything & more we could possibly need. Great location close to shops, a variety of eating places, walks, playpark & a beautiful beach. A great base to enjoy the pleasures of Portstewart & explore the amazing North Coast. Andrew was so good at giving us all the information we needed to make our stay run smoothly. We look forward to our next holiday in Millrush.

The most amazing house we've stayed in to date. The views from the house are heavenly and the pictures don't do it justice. Being able to walk across the garden to the beach is amazing. Great facilities in the house. The house was always warm. We've stayed in Downings numerous times but the location of this house is perfect. The views are outstanding and being able to walk to the pub, cafes, hotels and shop etc is a major bonus for Donegal. It's also pet friendly which is fantastic and the house has gates on the stairs so the dogs can't wander. The hosts couldn't be more helpful and responsive to any queries. Can't wait to go back again!

We had a fantastic time! Karen was very responsive and so helpful with everything. We stay in Portballintrae often and this is definitely one of our favourites. Great location, excellent amenities and the outside space was perfect!

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this cozy and spacious home! The house was perfect for our family—plenty of room for the kids to run around and play both inside and out, which made a big difference during our trip. The highlight for us was the breathtaking ocean view right from the house—waking up to that every morning was a treat! At night, the clear skies made for some incredible stargazing—something we don’t get to enjoy often back home. Des and Angela were incredibly courteous and checked in regularly to make sure we were comfortable, which we really appreciated. The house had a warm, welcoming vibe and was well-equipped for a relaxed stay. Highly recommended for families looking for a peaceful retreat with a touch of magic!

My husband and I stayed with our three children (8,5,2) and dog over the early May bank holiday. The house is in a great location, easy walking distance to Portstewart and a great base to explore and enjoy the surrounding area. The house was clean and had everything our family needed - a cot and high chair were provided and we even found some kids toys! Only thing to be aware of if you have very young children is that the stairs are quite steep and no stair gates etc. We had a wonderful stay and would have no hesitation to book here again. Our stay at Louise's lovely home was great. She thought of everything we could need. The location was great for getting around the North Coast and she had left treats for both us and the dog! Very thoughtful

We had an amazing stay at Sheena’s place in Sligo! The view of the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains from the property was absolutely breathtaking—such a peaceful and relaxing backdrop to wake up to each day. The house was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our daughter especially loved playing outside in the open space—it was perfect for her to run around and enjoy the fresh air. Sheena was a fantastic host—warm, welcoming, and easy to communicate with. We truly felt at home and are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a scenic getaway in the west of Ireland!
