Your Keweenaw adventure begins here! This centrally located cabin seated on a private 6-acre lot provides easy access to local favorites such as Copper Harbor, Mt Bohemia, Mt Ripley, Lake Superior, 1.5mi from UP17, and 3mi from UP13 ATV/snowmobile and bike trails. Close to many public boat ramps.Equipped with a full kitchen and living room, this cabin sleeps up to six people with a full bath. Ample parking for ATV/snowmobile trailers. The cabin is a short drive to Calumet, Hancock, and Houghton.

Home on MTU XC Ski Trails

Located on the Michigan Tech XC Ski Trails, you can ski out the back door. Take a short ungroomed trail to the classic ski trails, or walk down the road to the Mill Road TrailHead to access premier skate skiing trails. We have a ski waxing station in the garage, including a table, vise, waxing iron, scrapers and brush) so you can wax your skis. Just bring your preferred wax. Lastly, three sets of Tubbs snowshoes come with the home. Enjoy winter right from your backyard in a home away from home.

Set on the shores of Lake Superior, the Copper Suite is one of two private units in the home, offering stunning, panoramic lake views. Step right outside to access cross-country ski and hiking trails. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, cozy indoor fireplace, lakeside back porch, heated garage, and outdoor wood-fired sauna. Whether you’re here to unwind, recharge or head out on adventures, it’s the perfect base for exploring the Keweenaw. Located near Copper Harbor, Eagle Harbor, and Mt. Bohemia.

For those relaxing summer nights, sit on the large deck and watch the moon rise or roast marshmallows on a bonfire while you listen to the waves crashing. 2 kayaks and life jackets available for use.

Our peaceful 5-bedroom lakefront home is 4 miles from Houghton and is conveniently located near the airport, Michigan Tech, Mont Ripley (3 miles) and Mount Bohemia (38 miles). Snowmobile trails are only 1/3rd of a mile away and you can ride your sled from here. Enjoy spectacular views of the lake, kayaking, and campfires on the patio. Our area is full of history and charm. Come visit! Parking for 3 trucks, plus trailers. Please Note: We charge $10 per night per person over 2 people.

Beautiful home with 4 bedrooms on the waterfront. This is the best you will find. All the amenities - fast wi-fi, 3 TVs (satellite), full size kitchen, washer/dryer, and plenty of parking near the snowmobile trail. Mont Ripley is right nearby for skiers. Two full bathrooms and two half bathrooms. New grill added on 6/19/2020. The home is being updated as needed. From new oven mitts to anything else needing an upgrade. Check out the pictures. With panoramic views from inside and out you’ll have amazing sunsets and spectacular views of the lake. The nighttime views of the stars and the Northern Lights are even better! Inside there is plenty of room to stretch out and relax, sit in front of the fireplace, relax in the jacuzzi tub or even play a game of pool. Just a short drive to Eagle River, Eagle Harbor and Copper Harbor.

Nice, clean apartment just 5 minutes from Michigan Tech and a view of Portage Lake (lake access too!). One stall of garage parking available so you can go right from car to apartment without dealing with the snow. The driveway is plowed. Wifi, heat, keurig coffee selection included. Washer and dryer are in the spacious bathroom with a shower. Full kitchen and electric fireplace. Stairlift from garage. Queen sized bed with additional pullout couch (about full sz) and toddler bed.

High Rock Cabin- 200 ft to trail 17! Close to town

Welcome to our “High Rock Cabin”. This centrally located tiny house is right by the trails. Set in the woods, but only a couple miles from Hancock/Houghton! One main floor bedroom with queen bed, and a loft with two full beds. Please be aware that there is a spiral staircase to access the loft. No smoking in cabin. Will be a $250 fee if smoking is detected. Also, pets must be approved by owners. Will entail an additional pet fee. There is plenty of parking, enough room for a trailer!

We are approximately 4.8 miles from the Dollar Bay Snow Mobile Trailhead, Great snowshoeing around the property as well. cottage is on a shared driveway with owners. About 55 minutes from Mount Bohemia.
