Lower Green has been a working cattle farm for three generations. Glyn was born here, the youngest of seven siblings. We opened Orchard View 14th century cottage to guests because we wanted people to experience what we experience every day, the peace, the dark skies, the particular stillness .The spring water still runs cold and clean. The owls are still in the oak trees. The fields still look the way they did when the drovers passed through. We've tried to change as little as possible."

It’s perfect for couples to relax or a small family to get out and about. Eardisland Lodge is located on the edge of the village with gorgeous views over the countryside but only a few minutes walk from the 2 public houses, village shop and tea room. The barn has brilliant views and has been beautifully furnished. It has a fully fitted kitchen with adequate seating area and access to a deck with extensive views. The living area has 2 very comfortable settees. One thing to note is that our TV does not have an aerial but we have wifi which means you can watch tv on catch up or live.
