Great location in the Nye Beach Neighborhood. Plenty of nice restaurants and coffee shops to walk to. This is our second time staying here and enjoy the location. The spacious kitchen also allows for family dinners and we like to take advantage of the outside grill.

We had a fantastic stay! The house had plenty of space for our big group, with lots of rooms and comfortable beds for everyone. Everything was super clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed. The view of the ocean was absolutely beautiful. Would definitely stay here again!

Clean space, car charger was a huge bonus, walkable to the beach and Pelican. Single bathroom was the only downside, but overall would stay again.

This place exceeded my hopes and expectations. It’s a really unique configuration with essentially two adjacent places with a shared deck with a hot tub. It was perfect for my friend and I to enjoy some shared time but also be able to retreat to our private spaces. Each unit was equipped with everything you could possibly need. Beds were comfy too. It’s a very short drive to the beaches and a short walk to restaurants. Overall just a gem that I highly recommend.

The home was comfy, cute, and clean-- a great place for us to stay the night in Lincoln City! Excellent hosts, communicated early and throughout to make sure things went well for us, and even let us know when the house was clean and ready for an earlier check in as we were in town early, that was great! Neighborhood was quiet and the hot tub was lovely!

Wonderful serene community, great layout, had everything we needed! Grant is an incredible fishing guide and host!

An amazing place to relax surrounded by Mother Nature as well nice, warm, and cozy interior to enjoy time with family 10/10. Additionally, we had a chance to meet friendly neighbors

We stayed at the Lookout for three months and loved our time there. The view over Nye Beach is breathtaking and never gets old in any weather! the biggest pros: - Location and View are perfect - Well-stocked kitchen - Squeaky Clean - Well-designed space - Pet friendly It's worth knowing - The Lookout is not large, but it has everything you need - The location is definitely tucked away - we didn't even try ordering delivery bc we didn't think they would find it - No recycling on site, just a small trash bin - You will sign a long agreement (outside of AirBnB) that looks litigious and basically prohibits negative and 4* reviews We really enjoyed our stay and would happily stay again.

The huge windows and scenery looking out over the ocean is spectacular. The porch with a camp Fire is a huge bonus.

Allison’s house was an absolute gem. Check in was easy and Allison was a great host. The house was clean. The view is beautiful! We will be going back!

This place is walking distance to the beach and restaurants that are open late. After a full day walking the beaches and climbing over tide pools, the hot tub is exactly what was needed to refresh your body for the next day. The place is perfect.

2nd time we stayed. Place was charming and clean. All necessities for lodging were provided and the communication was timely and clear. I recommend.

My family and I are so grateful to have found this little oasis. The location is so beautiful. I would wake up and do my morning stretches on the dock right on the water. It was so peaceful with so much beautiful wildlife to watch and listen to. The river is also perfect for a morning swim! The cabin was cozy and so homey. Rod and his family went to great lengths to make the cabin feel like home. It’s sometimes hard for me to sleep in new places but here I slept very soundly, I felt so safe and comfortable. The kitchen had lots of extra gadgets that made cooking delicious meals easy. The location made walking the doggies a breeze as well. Before arriving I had a lot of questions and Rod answered them all very quickly and with great care and detail. These are very special people and a very special place. We are hopeful we can come back and make more memories at their beautiful nature oasis.

We loved our stay and had the best time playing games, canoeing and catching salamanders. We hope to book again soon!

Came to Shawn’s place with 2 teenagers and an elderly hound to relax, have some downtime. While it’s not right on the coast, it’s close enough for quick day trips and equidistant to various good locations (Oceanside, PAC city, even Neskowin). The weather in march is predictably not great, but we didn’t mind because the house is lovely and very nice to relax in, read books, watch movies, cook, look at the trees, etc. We did some target practice with the BB guns, played cards, listened to the birds, and had a clear night with amazing stargazing. We did explore a little bit up the road at the public access to the creek and if you’re motivated, there’s incredible forest to hike around in. Truly, the best part for me was just being in the lovely, beautifully designed space and feeling comfortable and at ease, and having nice attention to detail, like things in the kitchen that you need and aren’t shitty. Thanks!!

Our family spent the weekend here in early spring and it was fantastic. We arrived on a very rainy afternoon, so the availability of a wood-burning stove made settling in extra cozy. Cabin is beautiful, cozy, and well-furnished and the surrounding trails and creek were wonderful to explore. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape to the woods for a break!

Hands down the best airbnb we’ve ever stayed in and Shawn was an excellent host. The cabin was spotless and so thoughtfully curated. We are sensitive to fragrances and air fresheners, and Shawn made sure that unscented cleaning products were used prior to our arrival. It felt like a home away from home, except with stunning views. We were content to stay in and peruse the records, books, and games and we also enjoyed sitting by the fire while the river rushed by. We hope to return again to experience the river during different seasons.
