During our stay at jenny’s place we brought our 2 dogs and from the moment we entered it was like being right at home. the dogs absolutely loved the back yard and dog bed upstairs. all the furniture is comfortable, the town is amazing! highly recommend the galena diner and the coffee vault is perfect as well! local trails and fishing as well as shopping! jenny was sure to respond quickly and be so kind! the locals in town were so friendly and talked to us and waved as they drove by! sitting on the front porch drinking my coffee with my dogs and having a fire in the back yard with our family was the perfect getaway we needed! the home is very private, clean, and cozy! I will be booking with jenny in the future when we return to visit family.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Ryan Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel incredibly welcomed. The House was exactly as described and even better in person. It was clean stylish, and spacious. It had all the amenities we needed to host our family Christmas party. The beds were cozy and the kitchen was well equipped. The area is quiet and peaceful but still close to awesome shopping and eating areas. Communication with the host was quick and easy. They were very responsive. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot to stay. I will definitely be booking again with Ryan!

We chose this as our meeting location to renew friendships and it could not have been more perfect. The spacious house was spotless, well equipped, and provided plenty of room for us. Sara Marie was flexible and accommodating. As we were departing we talked about returning to this location next year for a yearly event.

The place was on a cul de sac making it a quiet, safe, pet friendly place! True fun house with pickleball court, basketball hoop and outdoor fire pit. Plus a huge backyard that was fenced in for privacy. Close to great restaurants and the Columbus Zoo. Jordan was quick to respond to a WiFi issue getting it resolved asap. Would stay there again.

This is our second stay and Jeanine is always gracious and very responsive. The farmhouse is reminiscent of my childhood home, which makes it a special stay for me.

This historic home is amazing! If you appreciate the architecture of the past, you will love this home. It has an awesome mix of modern (beautiful kitchen and bathrooms) while maintaining the old charm. We had a full house of people including 4 kids under 9 yrs. We knew there would be no toys but discovered thay we didnt need them! The kids hiked, found fossils down the river, and played hide and seek in the house! What a great place to play hide and seek! We also enjoyed the music room playing piano. And it’s quiet in the night in the rooms. We had a group of people who came in at 9 and some that had gone to bed never heard them. Note that there are some rooms that are still being renovated but it didn’t affect our stay. We commend Eric and his interest in renovating this historic property. My 9 yr old grandson said ‘my mind is blown’, thinking that a former governor and some presidents visited and maybe stayed at this property! Great lesson! We made some great memories!

The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. We were 4 guys on an extended weekend golf trip. There’s is basically a tv in every room except the kitchen, arcade games, a large beautiful yard with a fire pit, and an updated kitchen. We will be booking again next year for our golf trip.

We loved it! It’s a beautiful old home with much of the original character intact. We felt safe and right at home. It’s a very easy 9 minutes drive into the city. Of course the super hero theme was a fun bonus.

Ann is amazing, took care of everything. Brought me a plate of cookies for Christmas! Cant ask for anything more.

Great location, secured parking garage and the restaurants, coffee shop and convenience store were added bonuses.

The location was perfect for us since we are building a home nearby. We can't wait to be neighbors, living our best rural life. Terri has been very responsive and the place is comfortable and private, with incredible sunsets over the pond. Our days have been focused on getting our property cleared, so not much time for anything else, but hopefully one of these days we'll get to spend time exploring their farm, as we will definitely be back! Jimm's well-designed two-story place is just great -- clean, cozy and quiet, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bed, in beautiful wooded surroundings. Jimm was always available and responsive. This is one of the nicest AirBnBs I've stayed in. I have friends in the area and hope to stay here again.

Such a lovely place and such a warm welcome! I had work to do while I was staying with Jennifer. She provided beautiful eggs from their chickens and other food. It was an easy place to set up 'shop' and a relaxing place to be between visits with my daughter at the University. Very convenient to Denison U.

My family and I had such a great time at this cabin! It was beautiful and peaceful and even better than the photos! It was a little chilly and rainy during our stay, but fortunately we still had PLENTY to do because of all the amenities! Our favorite part was the hot tub! Perfect size and temperature for our group. The cabin was huge and had more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The hosts were amazing at communicating right away and even let us check in early! Overall, we had a blast here and made memories that will truly last a lifetime!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Jodi's place. It was secluded and quiet with very little traffic. There was plenty of space for 5 of us and we used the hot tub both nights we were there. The gas grill was fantastic and we played plenty of games. We were a short drive from great hiking at Mohican and we had a chance to visit some of the other sites in the area. Jodi's instructions were clear, concise, and were sent well before our trip- we had no trouble finding the home or checking in. It was a very relaxing, enjoyable trip and we look forward to our next trip to the area.

This cabin was the perfect birthday weekend away location. It was so quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. We definitely plan on coming back in the future!

We stayed at Laura’s cabin for our 28th wedding anniversary, and it was absolutely wonderful! The cabin was cozy, clean, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. We loved the fireplace, and the hot tub was amazing — just what we needed to unwind. The loft area was adorable, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Laura even surprised us with a small cake for our anniversary and had a heart made of rose petals on the bed — such a thoughtful and special touch! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful, romantic escape. Thank you, Laura, for making our anniversary unforgettable!

Tony’s place offers so many things…sublime book selection for those who prefer to pontificate rather then watch TV or their phone. Wonderful place for a private time & families as well. (For kids lots to do farms with cows, pigs, goats variety of birds, gophers, maybe even a couple of woodchucks) see the tractors & cool things that the heart of America was built with… remind them what it was like before we all had cell phones. Make a memory that’ll last forever no phone needed! Fields for miles=literal kid paradise..after sitting in a car waiting to get there-turn them loose in the fields out back or let them go visit the bullfrogs in the front pond with Peepers chirping away Peaceful & very safe for couples, families & kids Pool, hot tub fun for everyone!! A WONDERFUL STAY We were looking for a place to stay for Spring Break that wasn't just good for my wife and me, but also for our kids, and we came across the Red Bend. First and foremost, Denise and Benji were fantastic to work with. They were very responsive to our questions and were willing to let us bring our dog after our sitter fell through. Yes, the steps to Honey Creek are steep, but you can tell they are putting a lot into it. And once you are down there, it is a beautiful set up to just sit and relax or for our 9 and 7 year old to play. You are also in a great location to travel to Mohican State Park and hike there. You can tell Denise and Benji have put in a lot of work inside the house. There is a great blend of nostalgia and modern that is mixed perfectly together. The kids are already asking if we can come back next year and if we can stay longer the next time. So if you are thinking about booking the Red Bend. Do it!
