David & Jacqui are incredibly lovely hosts. You can tell at all times that your well-being is very important to them. From your arrival to your departure. Wonderful people who become friends. The accommodation is beautiful. Of course, the view deserves special mention. The sea and the mountains are at your feet. A place where you can completely relax. WiFI is up to date, works perfectly and there are some books and TV. The spa area is very spacious and the pool is beautiful. You can walk to Comares, where there are shops and restaurants. A beautiful place for which holidaymakers come from far and wide. You get to know the world anew while you relax under almond and olive trees. Your dogs are an added bonus to make you feel at home. The open-plan living area is very nice. They pay attention to detail to make you feel at home. The barbecue&wine is ready and there is plenty of space to relax. Just got back from a 10 night stay at this fabulous villa. Very well equipped for self- catering. Air conditioning and wifi access very good. Views of the mountains at the front of the property and views of the sea from the back. Large private garden area. Within a 5 min walk of two large pools. Also close to Cave Bar and restaurant. The beach and Nerja town are a 20 min walk downhill and a 30 min walk back up the hill. However there is a very reliable bus service every hour for 1 euro each way. There are also two large supermarkets within a 10 min walk. Mercadona was our favourite. Debby was very responsive to my messages. I would highly recommend this property and would definitely visit again x

Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Alles ist optimal und optisch sehr ansprechend gestaltete. Bei der Ankunft war bereits das Feuer im Kamin angemacht und der Empfang sehr freundlich. Ich kann die Unterkunft nur wärmsten empfehlen und werde gerne wiederkommen. Leider hatte ich kein Glück mit dem Wetter aber es war auch herrlich um ein Buch zu lesen und Ruhe zu finden. Monika

Wat een prachtige plek! Deze accommodatie is ruim, netjes, sfeervol en vooral de terrassen zijn zo fijn!! Wat hebben we daar heerlijk gezeten. Het uitzicht is over de groene heuvels ook adembenemend. Verder is het appartement goed verzorgd. Het centrum van het prachtige Frigiliana is op loopafstand wat deze plek extra aantrekkelijk maakt. De communicatie met Patricia is heel prettig: ze reageert snel en vriendelijk. Enige nadeel is dat wanneer de accommodatie boven je is verhuurd je je bovenburen kunt horen, vooral op het terras. Maar bij rustige mensen is dat geen probleem. We raden dit fijne appartement zeker aan!

Had a fantastic weekend stay! The place was great for our group of friends. It was spacious comfortable, as well as clean as per the photos. The Host was incrediblyy responsive and helpful, ansering all out questions quickly. I would definitely recommend this spot for groups.

Wij verbleven de gehele maand januari in het prachtige ruime huis, voorzien van alle gemakken en voldeed prima voor ons. Gekozen voor januari omdat het dan nog niet zo warm is in Spanje en gekozen voor de ligging in de bergen vanwege de rust en de natuur. Het huis ligt net buiten het dorpje Periana met een schitterend vrij uitzicht richting het stuwmeer en in de verte de zee. Hebben prachtige bergwandelingen gemaakt direct in de omgeving of met de auto kleine dorpjes bezocht of heerlijke strandwandelingen gemaakt aan de kust in Torre del Mar dat vanuit Periana in een halfuurtje te bereiken is. Achter het huis bevond zich een ruime tuin met strandstoelen en barbecue en was afsluitbaar zodat ons kleine hondje niet weg kon lopen en heerlijk kon spelen, op het bordes aan de voorkant kon je ook heerlijk zitten en genieten van het zonnetje. Het huis was brandschoon maar vanwege de wintermaanden wel fris, dus de houtkachel of elektrische moest wel aan. Andrés was een prima gastheer voor ons.

We had a wonderful month long stay at Lorie’s beautiful villa. It was well equipped for all our cooking and hosting needs. Spacious and comfortable for a group of 8. We enjoyed walking down the hill to the beach (20 min) and taking day trips to nearby Nerja, Granada, Malaga, Solabrena, and further to Seville and Ronda. Watching the sunrise over the hills and sea from the front patio with the stunning view will be etched in our memories of this happy time in La Herradura. The village itself is quiet and less touristy than others but with plenty of restaurants and activities for the family. Lorie was quick to respond to all our requests and a gracious host.

Una casa perfecta que cumplió con nuestras expectativas. Par aun grupo de 16 personas como el nuestro, contamos con espacio más que suficiente para poder realizar una reunión informal de trabajo y para disfrutar de la convivencia en grupo muy distendida. La zona exterior de terraza y barbacoa es ideal para compartir. Agradecemos a Mar y Javier su hospitalidad y, sobre todo, la flexibilidad para permitir pasar el día de antes por la casa, para dejar comida y bebida en las neveras, asegurando así, que todo estuviera perfecto a nuestra llegada.
