Decking areas, outside the living space and bedroom give wonderful views of the countryside. You have sole use of the whole field with al fresco dining area,barbecue, swings,table tennis and its own hens!

In a quiet corner of a tree-lined field close to our own private fishing lake called Venton Trout Lakes, Our woodsman's hut will give you the chance to get away from it all. It has its own private toilet and shower facilities in separate huts adjacent to the main cabin accessed by a pathway. We provide a kettle, toaster, microwave, induction hob, gas hob & BBQ for outdoors, cutlery, small coolbox, crockery, cooking utensils, bedding and towels.

The Hide is a hidden treasure for those seeking a unique Devon escape. Tucked among the trees along a leafy bridleway, it offers the ideal setting to unwind and explore. Situated on the edge of the peaceful hamlet of Loventor, just three miles from the historic town of Totnes and directly on the scenic John Musgrave Heritage Trail, it provides a perfect base for discovery. Only a ten-minute walk away lies Berry Pomeroy Castle — one of Devon’s most picturesque and intriguing historic sites.

Higher Brook Shepherd's Hut

Our newly built Shepherd's Hut is self-contained in its own plot at the end of our back garden with direct, private access down a path alongside our property. The hut lies on the fringes of Totnes, in a secluded location with views across fields towards Haytor. A welcome breakfast of bread and cereals is provided on arrival, with tea and coffee available. We are always available should you need tips on where to go or can leave you to discover and enjoy this area entirely on your own.

Shuttaford - Modern Rustic Barn in Dartmoor Valley

Shuttaford Barn is a recently converted barn on a 16thC Dartmoor farmstead on the edge of the moors next to Holne and Ashburton. It is the perfect spot to explore the wilds of Dartmoor National Park, walk along the beautiful River Dart or head to the many South Devon beaches for the day. Or just relax in the peaceful surroundings of the barn and its garden. In summer months we generally do Friday to Friday bookings. Please message us if you would like to book alternative days.

Ruby Retreat Shepherd’s Hut in Devon

Ruby Retreat is a unique Shepherd's Hut hand built in larch, cedar and ash by local carpenter, Peter Milner. His skilled design and craftsmanship gives Ruby a very special feeling. She is brand new for 2023. She sits in her own secluded position on a working Devon farm. The views over the glorious Devon hills are truly captivating. There is nothing to distract you from gazing at the fields, hills, woodland and distant church spire (well, maybe some sheep and lambs frolicking).

Just a 3-minute walk to the heart of the vibrant little historic town of Ashburton with some great eateries, delis and antiques. This spacious and comfortable flat has a large and fully equipped open-plan kitchen and very convenient allocated parking. It's on the top floor of a restored and charming Grade 2 Listed building. The apartment is normally my family home with my 2 young children. It's a great location on the edge of Dartmoor and close to the beaches of south Devon.

There are local amenities in Totnes ( 2 miles) it is a lovely historic town with weekly markets, charming shops and delicious cream teas & coffee bars with delicious variety of cakes. Close enough to all major towns, 3 miles to Torquay & beaches, 2 miles Paignton & beaches, Exeter and Plymouth.
