With stunning sea views, The Outlook is built into the hillside, access is via steps down from the road (or can be accessed via a steep path). Minutes from the Valley Gardens, on the beach path, close to the town centre; this is a beautiful spot. The Outlook sadly doesn’t lend itself well to those with mobility issues or very young children. Dog friendly.

The Smithy at Cross Pipes, Goathland

The Smithy is a self contained stone built cottage situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors. It was built in the 1800’s and was originally one of two blacksmiths serving the community of Goathland. The Smithy offers you a comfortable base to visit the local area. The accomodation is unusually spacious for a one bedroomed cottage, it is light, warm and very well insulated but don’t forget there is the potential for noise and smells from the farm!
