Our home is located on the Olympic Peninsula, just steps from where the Duckabush River meets the Hood Canal. We have tried to create a cozy and rustic space for guests to relax in! The cabin is conveniently located near lots of hiking trails, and several public beaches. Prepare to be completely engulfed in nature, as the property is home to many interesting and rare plants and trees. Come sit in the hot tub, while bald eagles fly overhead, or head to a public beach and find a bounty of oysters!

A relaxing 20-minute ferry trip from West Seattle or Water Taxi from downtown Seattle brings you to your own private cozy, Studio cottage with sweeping views of the Sound. Watch the ferries go by, relax, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the Olympic mountains, kayaking, a forest hiking trail with sea and Mount Rainier views, beach walks, and downtown Vashon (less than 10 mins away!). Please note: The parking lot is a few minute walk from the cottage.

Our newly renovated cabin is the quintessential place for your visit to the Kitsap Peninsula. We offer creature comforts like coffee, refrigerator, microwave, towels, shampoo, soaps and lovely decor inspired by the Pacific Northwest. Quiet and serene, but just 10 minutes from the town of Silverdale, 15 minutes to Poulsbo, and 19 miles to Seattle, as the crow flies. Catch the ferry from nearby Bremerton, Kingston, or Bainbridge Island. Come relax, enjoy the weather and nature we have to offer.

Once tucked back into the woods, this newly improved 1920s cabin now enjoys a front-row seat to the grandeur of the Hood Canal thanks to a tidal creek that has washed away the sandy soil that once supported the departed trees. This property may prove challenging for individuals with mobility issues. **Pricing is discounted due to ongoing improvements. The space is a standalone unit detached from our main house tucked off the main street, nestled amongst the cedars and firs along Mud Bay connecting to Puget Sound. The room has a full 270 degree view on the gardens and trees, queen size murphy bed, fridge, sink, microwave, wood stove and bathroom, complete with 16" outdoor rain shower.
