This stunning traditional cottage, built in 1904, is situated at the waterfront in the beautiful coastal village of Cullen. The beach, harbour & golf course are on the doorstep, with the Salmon Bothy and Castle Hill all within easy walking distance. For water enthusiasts, water sports can be accessed through local businesses and opportunities for walking, cycling and hiking around our coastal paths and beautiful countryside are endless. Cullen has a lovely range of local shops and eateries.

Located in the tiny historic fishing village of Sandend, it’s set right on the stunning golden sandy beach in this beautiful north-east corner of Scotland. If you are looking for relaxation in a beach front setting, the opportunity to surf and enjoy watersports, or a comfortable family beach holiday, then this is it! Sandend is a fantastic destination at any time of the year.

Renovated fishing cottage close to the beach

Our holiday home is a home from home! Our boys have grown up here so we hopefully have everything a family needs. It is within walking distance to the beach, harbour, cafes and restaurants. A short drive away you will find distilleries, golf courses and the beautiful Moray coast. We spent 6 years renovating our beautiful fisherman's cottage and we regularly spend time here with our boys. We would like to reassure guests that we follow all industry guidelines to ensure everyone’s safety.

Ideally situated with a 1 minute walk to both New Harbour and the Historic 17th Century Old Harbour. The cottage is also a 5/10 minute walk to the local shops which includes 2 bakeries, Portsoy Ice Cream Shop, Coffee Shops, Restaurants, take aways and bars, Portsoy Gift Shop and a grocery store.

Set in a peaceful seaside town only a short distance from some amazing beaches and lovely country walks. Our area offers Fishing, Golfing, Whisky trails, Visitor centers, Photographic opportunities for seeing Dolphins, Seals and Sea Birds with much more for you to see along from Rannawa. A local working harbour in the town of Buckie is only a short walk from Rannawa. Portessie offers a local public bar. And a very well equipped Premier grouser store
