The Old Dairy, cottage on Highland Farm

As the name suggests this cottage was previously used as dairy on the family farm in years gone by. The house was built in the 1850's, the first house on the farm as it is now. The cottage was also known as Grieves House and was home to the Manager of Dalmore Distillery years and years ago. We live on a family farm and there is always somebody nearby for assistance during your stay. Dalmore Farm is in a quiet location on the edge of Alness, a busy town which in 2018 won the title of Best High Street in Scotland. Set on the shore of the Cromarty Firth, this makes an ideal base for exploring Easter Ross and the Northern Highlands. Alness town centre is approx 10 - 15 walk Morrisons and Lidl are approx 5 minute walk

The cottage is located 2 miles outside Culbokie within a small hamlet and is an ideal base for exploring the local Highland area or touring the "North Coast 500".

Croft life - Culbokie, Black Isle - a wee cottage.

We are 14 miles from Inverness on the north Black Isle and only 2 miles from the NC500. We have a small Croft like property, surrounded by woodland. We are happy to take guests along with us to meet the animals! The accommodation is in the cottage annex of the house, has a separate entrance for guests and comprises of a small double bedroom, bathroom, with use of lounge and kitchen. Kinkell cottage is quite simply, perfect. A special, romantic one bed cottage that holds so much character and charm, guests never want to leave. The property sits at the foot of Kinkell Castle, an enchanting building that has been lovingly restored, making it a view in itself to enjoy while sipping on your morning cuppa from the front of the cottage. While the castle is close, it's un-intrusive and the cottage feels incredibly private.

This renovated cottage is an executive quality, two bedroom cottage in an upmarket district of Inverness which is only a 10 minutes walk to the city centre, five minutes from Inverness Castle. The cottage was built in 1880 and Inverness has since grown up around the cottage which once stood on open farmland. Many of the top Inverness restaurants and bars are located near by. All visitors to the Highlands are welcome.
