It was great staying at Shirley's. The place is very clean, quiet, and located in a great neighbourhood. The bed is comfortable, and we had some enjoyable chats. I highly recommend Shirley's room.

Great place! Clean home and Anamaria was very hospitable. The neighborhood is really nice and diverse. The Herne Hill transit station is a short walk away, taking you straight to Victoria where you can then transfer to other lines. Bus stops are in super close distance too. Loved the retail stores and restaurants in the area.

This is our second time staying at Tammy’s place and we had a fantastic stay again! Tammy left us a lovely bottle of Prosecco and some chocolates for being returning customers. The house is beautiful, the perfect size for 6 friends that don’t want to stay in a hotel. Bedrooms are horrors and beautifully made up and it has everything you need to feel right at home. Area feels so safe and you can walk to the tube or even the O2 if you fancy a longer walk. Otherwise it’s a 5 min Uber. Will definitely stay again x

There is a gate to get on the property and we were unable to call Miranda when at the gate due to poor reception. I imagine this was because we are from the US and ATT is our carrier and I suppose England does not have a lot of ATT towers for cellular. We were unable to make phone contact at the gate and drove about 5 or so minutes into town to get good phone coverage and drove back. The house was clean and in a pleasant area. Miranda was most helpful.

The host was very nice, we had a great time! There’s a fried chicken place nearby that’s cheap and good too. Everything is well prepared and is very clean when we checked in. The location is walkable to both the train station and bus station.

J'ai passé un agréable séjour dans cette chambre propre et fonctionnelle, idéale pour un court séjour. L'accueil était chaleureux, et Mara est bienveillante et attentionnée Seul petit bémol : l’emplacement un peu éloigné du centre de Londres, nécessitant environ une heure de trajet en voiture. Mais pour ceux qui recherchent le calme après une journée en ville, c'est un bon choix

This was a stress-free stay in Esher, close enough to the downtown area and activities, perfectly located. The flat was comfortable, very clean, and the bottle of prosecco was appreciated! Highly recommend!

I do have a great memory with Trevor and Clare, because they are really warm hearted. They prepared the tea, coffee, and milk in the room. The room and bathroom are really clean and nice💕💕. Thank you very much~

This flat was very comfortable for our party of three. The kitchen was well appointed and fully functional. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The location was very convenient to portabello road and it’s many shops and eateries and convenient to bus and tube lines. Check in and out were easy.

L’appartement de Wim est très agréable, calme, lumineux, très bien équipé et plein d’attentions. Il est idéalement situé pour visiter Londres, le métro est à deux pas ainsi que les incontournables Coven Garden, Picadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, Soho. Wim est très réactif et disponible. En bref nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous retournerons très volontiers chez Wim lors d’un prochain séjour.

Enzo and his mom are incredibly helpful and friendly. When we faced issues with the electricity, they would help us immediately. They are also very caring and did their best to ensure we are comfortable and satisfied with the stay. They are super generous with food and would sometimes bring down pizza for us. Thank you for having us and we had fun staying over! We would book again if we are staying in London! ❤️

Our family (2 adults with 3 teenagers) stayed at Jen & Matt’s place for 6 nights in March 2025. It was perfect for us. Lots of space and all the amenities we needed. We were on an early arriving flight and they allowed us early access to the flat, which was a lifesaver for that first day. The flat is in a lovely family-oriented neighbourhood with the beautiful Queen’s Park nearby. It is totally outside of the hustle and bustle of London, but right on the Bakerloo Line which allows super easy access to all the sights. It is also on the Lionness line which takes you directly to Watford Junction where you catch the shuttle to Warner Bros Studios to visit the Harry Potter sets. It couldn’t be better situated in my opinion. Jen & Matt provided milk, eggs, butter, jam, crumpets, tea and coffee to get us started, which was a really nice touch. There is a Tesco Express nearby, so it was easy to buy groceries. I did a load of laundry and everything worked fine. Highly recommend!

We've stayed her 3-4 times now and it's great. We keep coming back because it's very comfortable. Unlike a lot of places the couch is comfy, as are the chairs and beds. We can cook dinner, pop downstairs to 2-3 different markets, plus several pubs and restaurants, and bring food back. The nearby pedestrian zone even has a Marks and Spence market that's very nice (think Whole Foods). The area is great. Two very convenient trains and several buses. We like to walk and often go through London Fields to Broadway market. Kingsland Road is good for Turkish food, an interesting African market and a Pret a Manger. The host, Zoe, is extremely responsive and helpful. Would definitely come back if we go back to Hackney again.

Very good location and close to the city center. It is very convenient because there is a M&S nearby. The metro station is only 5 min and you could take the Bakerloo line to Oxford Circus within 20 min. Anna is very helpful and responsive to questions.

Sejour Parfait ! Le logement de Gocke est parfait à tous points de vue : - accueillant - cosy -pratique Gocke nous a accueilli avec ses enfants pour tout nous expliquer et même nous donner des conseils sur le quartier' Nous avons adoré Highams Park ❤️ L'appartement est situé à 100 m de l'overground, en face d'un grand supermarché. le quartier est calme mais animé : nous avons testé 2 restaurants turcs, un indien et un pub traditionnel : au top ! l'accès à Londres est très facile Nous étions ravis de rentrer le soir au calme après de grosses journees en ville et retrouver ce petit quartier sympa ! Merci Gocke ! Nous vous conseillons ce logement

A stay with Deborah is highly recommended, everything was spot on, we appreciated a place to park even beyond our check out time. Deborah is friendly interesting and welcoming, we'd definitely visit again if we're on the area and it isn't booked out. Thank you.

Fiona was a stellar host. The room was extremely comfortable, clean and quiet, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent. We very much enjoyed chatting to Fiona over breakfast and appreciated any advice given on how to get around the city. An amazing experience which we would be happy to repeat when going back to London. Many thanks!

Sally‘s place is in an excellent location, almost right by the river and Sally is a lovely host. The room was perfect and it was pleasure to meet Sally, Jack and James.

Jeg kan kun anbefale at bo hos Lyn og Gavin. Det var på alle områder virkelig et behageligt , trygt, hyggeligt og godt ophold. Lyn og Gavin er meget imødekommende, og det hele fungerede. Morgenmaden var lækker, og Gavin sørgede for at intet manglede. Jeg vil helt sikkert komme igen, næste gang jeg besøger London.

Very nice place and people to live with! Clean, comfortable bed, very god breakfast! The only things to say something about is that it is a bit of from London city ( half an hour with train to Victoria station) and the train passes just outside. Margaret and her husband, Morris are warm and welcoming. They both were very helpful. Margaret is responsible for their guests and she is very competent - right on top of things all the time. I found the quiet, comfortable space I was looking for. She provided a great breakfast and I enjoyed meeting them and chatting to them. Great stay.

John & Mandy were great host. They kept our rooms ready with fresh towels and napkins. The space is filled with personal pictures and has a great character of its own. John was kind to make us proper English breakfast and made us feel really comfortable and special throughout our stay.

Patricia's house is lovely. My two teens and I stayed in three rooms at the top floor. Beds were very comfortable, and rooms very clean. The house has lots of historical features and is nicely decorated. Patricia made sure we had a great breakfast, with eggs, fruits, cakes and croissant. Polesden Lacey is only a 30-min walk from the house and the surrounding area offers plenty of opportunity for long nice walks. Nice spot for visiting this part of England.
