Cottage by the Lake

Set on 50 acres of farmland, this unique property boasts 2 large lakes with row boats - kayaks and beautiful gardens, abundance of wildlife and a serene and peaceful ambience. Your hosts, Ann & Kevin live in the main house, about 100 metres from the lake-side cottage and are available if needed, or can be very discreet. You have free access to all of the property, with lovely walks and farm animals to interact with. The property is 5 min from Hanging Rock and 15 mins from Kyneton, and Woodend.

The Eagles Retreat is a unique destination. A rustic three bedroom stone cottage on 370 acres of natural bush along the Sevens Creek. Nestled in the Strathbogie Ranges overlooking a creek with a cascading perennial waterfall, The Eagles Retreat is a perfect sanctuary for a couple or family to be immersed in nature surrounded by Australian mammals and birds. Just 2 hours drive from Melbourne, guests can walk the stony outcrop hills and meander the stunning bubbling river and waterfalls.

Relax in this cosy guest house with spacious surrounds. The guest house is close to the main house but with private outlook and places to explore along the seasonal creek and open paddocks . Close to Euroa There is a kitchenette with small bar fridge and microwave. PLEASE DO NOT USE PORTABLE COOKING DEVICES IN THE GUEST HOUSE for safety reasons. BBQ facilities and campfire pit are available in front of the guest house however fire pit not available from November due to fire restrictions

Located in the township of Longwood, a 5 minute walk to the White Hart Hotel. Constructed in 2021 using some materials recovered from the original 1885 house it has a large open plan living area, balcony and alfresco, backyard and front yard space (sorry no pets). Close to towns of Nagambie, Avenel and Euroa. Opposite rail line and close to local businesses the Rockery and Longwood Community Centre, local wineries Mitchellton, Tabilk, RPL, Fowle’s, Hide and Seek and Maygars.
