The Nest - a charming, cosy Cotswold retreat

The Nest is a cosy Cotswold hideaway nestled between Stow-on-the-Wold & Chipping Norton. We can accommodate 2 adults in either kingsize or single beds & infants up to travel cot age. We are tucked away in a small hamlet yet within walking distance of the village pub & with views & walks from the front door. Daylesford & Soho House are close as well as Jeremy Clarkson's Farm shop Diddly Squat. The Nest offers a boutique space from which to explore the beauty of the Cotswolds in total comfort.

A stylishly decorated Cotswold stone barn on a farm situated on the edge of the bustling market town of Chipping Norton. We are ideally located for discovering the many beautiful Cotswold villages as well as within easy reach of Oxford, Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon. We are also close to Daylesford Farmshop and Soho Farmhouse and are surrounded by rolling countryside for lovely longs walks. There are plenty of great pubs and restaurants to visit. Slow down and recharge at The Old Smithy. Built about 600 years ago, this Cotswold stone blacksmiths forge has been transformed into a cosy retreat for two. Kingham is a highly sought after village in the heart of the Cotswolds. With a wealth of brilliant pubs and wonderful countryside walks on our doorstep, you can bring your dog along to enjoy too. The Kingham Plough and The Wild Rabbit, are a short walk away. Daylesford Organic Farm Shop and Bamford club a longer walk/short drive.

Wander around the Cotswold stone cottages in the village, let your troubles melt away in the clawfoot bath, sink into the memory foam mattress with Egyptian cotton sheets or play a board game in front of the log fire. This is a pet friendly, two king bedroom cottage which comfortably sleeps 4.

A great base for relaxing & visiting the Cotswolds, Oxford, Diddly Squat Farm Shop & The Farmer's Dog, Blenheim Palace or Bicester Village. Just 5 minutes drive from the historic market town of Chipping Norton, with plenty of shops & relaxing coffee stops. In winter a log burner makes it cosy. There are footpaths 'from the door' and great mountain & road biking too. We love welcoming UK and international guests.

Garden studio annexe with separate kitchen and bathroom. Sleeps up to 4 (double bed and sofa beds). Essentials provided. Enjoy a break in Chipping Norton, 2 minutes from town with ample pubs, restaurants and independent shops. 5 minutes into lovely countryside walks. Small outside area is enclosed with barrier type fence panels. Bus services from Oxford, Cheltenham and Banbury, many local attractions. Check out by 10am and check in from 3pm. There are 3 steps down to the annexe.

A 2 minute stroll will take you to the famous Wild Rabbit Restaurant and the ‘UK’s Dining pub of the year 2019’, The Kingham Plough. A 2 minute drive or 30 minute walk will lead you to another renowned culinary destination, Daylesford Organic Farm Shop, Restaurant and Spa. Famous Cotswold villages surround the area including Stow on the Wold, Burford and Bourton on the Water.

Pretty Chocolate Box Thatched Cottage

A beautiful late 16th century thatched cottage located in the beautiful village of Kingham. A two minute walk from The Wild Rabbit Pub and restaurant and also The Kingham Plough. The village also has a very handy village shop. Formerly owned by a London interior designer, the cottage was featured in House and Gardens Magazine in June 2023. A home away from home and only a short 30 min walk down the bridle path to the famous Daylesford Organic Farm shop, restaurants and Spa.

A Granary surrounded by 180 acres of grass

Our Granary has been sympathetically and lovingly converted from an old grain store into a comfortable homely studio for your stay. The Granary is situated next to our farmhouse which originally dated back to 1662. It has recently been fully rebuilt after suffering a large fire. The house, Granary and outbuildings are all constructed of the typical Cotswold stone used throughout the area. We are surrounded by sprawling gardens and grassland.
