The Nook

A compact, cosy self contained 1 bedroom chalet 50 yards from the cliffs. 104 yards from the beach and the legendary Porth Island, where locals and tourist gather with cameras to capture that perfect sunset. This location really is as good as it gets! Guests can also borrow the Kayak’s for an evening paddle round the island. At the end of a private lane, you will find your own large and private parking area and enclosed garden. Newquay Centre is a pleasant fifteen minute stroll and Porth about seven minutes away.

Our Lodge is very private and peaceful, nestled next to woods and orchard with wonderful views over Mounts Bay but only 5 minutes from Penzance by car with its many restaurants and night life and is perfectly placed to explore the spectacular beaches and coastal paths of Lands End and St Ives. With private parking for 3 cars, it is perfect for families, couples and groups of friends. We are always on hand to give you any help or information you may need. Your own transport is recommended.

Snuggling in a wooded corner of our paddock the cabin is a lovely secluded escape for two. In one of the quietest parts of Cornwall with complete privacy you will hear the hoots of owls and chorus of birdlife, and with no light pollution the night skies are magnificent. The coast is nearby, with the Fowey estuary just down the road, and glorious beaches and coastal footpath a short drive away. It is roomy and comfortable in all weathers, and comes with a private wild garden.

In the heart of Cornwall, we are a step away from the famous '3 miles of golden sands' boasting sea views from the garden. The beach stretches from Hayle to Godrevy and is very popular to surfers, especially windsurfers. You can watch from the chalet whilst sipping away on your morning coffee. All amenities are at your fingertips; Hayle is just a short walk away, where you will find a supermarket, restaurants, cafes, pubs, and public transport.
