Lisa was a perfect host, and the house is lovely. She was very good at communicating, helpful and flexible, and showed that she genuinely cares about her guests. The house is nicely apportioned and very thoughtfully stocked with just about anything you might need to be comfortable. It’s very cozy and has a lot of fun touches that give it character. The lake view is lovely and a nice walk around it first thing in the morning is a perfect way to start the day. There were five adults staying in the house and we all agreed that there was nothing we would change or felt was missing during our stay. We would gladly return in the future!

This place was amazing! I took my three kids for a night during their spring break and ended up booking another night because we we didn't want to leave! It was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the hot tub, the beach and kayaking. We were barely inside, no phones and no TV ( I call that a win)The pictures don't serve it justice. we will definitely be back!

Diana was extremely responsive to all of our questions. The house was in a safe area with blinds and blackout curtains to provide added privacy. The well-maintained house was comfortable and close enough to the park and beach for daily walks with our dog. The home even provided supplies like crate and waste bags for your pet. The noise from the busy street was not even noticeable inside the home. We have heard train noise in all homes where we have stayed (even our family) over the years - it’s just a given in the area. This home has the best insulation and I only noticed the train twice while sleeping. The heat works great and we even set the thermostat 5 degrees lower than we keep it at home. We plan to make this our first choice for future visits.

This place is as pictured. The house has an older appeal to it. It felt comfortable because you felt like you did not have to worry about every little thing being touched like some of the other places on here. The furniture is older but comfy. We work long hours and the beds where so soft. We made dinner two nights in a row and all sat down at the table together. That is always a plus to me family time over a meal is great. Daniel was amazing, he checked in more than once to make sure we where good. He is fast to respond and has detailed notes of what to do. Wonderful host.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed here (winter, fall and now spring) and we will keep coming back. So much to do! Kayaks and a canoe, fire pit; swing set , volleyball court, and a beautiful deck and lounging in the hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked and lots of throw blankets makes this the perfect place to get away to.

Beautiful little place right on the water! Sunrise was gorgeous and surroundings were picturesque. Jason was so kind and responsive — we really enjoyed our stay! Thank you!

Super-convenient and cozy! Highly recommended for OBIE parents who don't need any frills. The bed is great, good curtains keep the room dark, everything is clean. All the basic basics are there, but there is definitely nothing beyond that - don't expect coffee (except for instant), more than one wine glass (lol), or instant warmth (no central air). I stand by my 5 stars - it's exactly as described, and we travel light and don't expect to have special touches added beyond what's mentioned - so if you want ease of check-in, comfort, and good communication, literally steps from the campus, but don't secretly expect a luxury hotel, this is the place for you.
