Stayed here for 2 nights for the bank holiday weekend. The area was beautiful, the Lodge itself was modern and very clean. It made for a perfect get away with the private Hot Tub and cosy fireplace over looking the scenic view. Lodge was very private and secure. They provided firewood and blankets for the nights we were there and hosted a small shop for immediate conveniences such as drinks and snacks. Their information booklet had detailed lists of local shops, restaurants and nearby walks which was amazing, it saved us a lot of effort in a new area trying to find things to explore. We didn't get chance to check out the farm they had with several animals but were lucky enough to have the farm house cats come visit us each morning which we loved!

A beautiful place to stay that was very comfortable for our stay (2 adults, 2 children and a dog). Located a short drive from Barmouth town and beach, it is ideally located out of the way and within a very peaceful setting. The private garden is very well maintained and looks out to sea that shows beautiful sunsets. The shepherds hut was spacious enough for our stay and had everything that we needed. Thank you Hayley and Gareth. We had a lovely weekend.

Our weekend break didn’t go to plan but the short time I did get to spend at the hut was so peaceful, it was clean, the hot tub was great all in all was a lovely place to stay, I do hope to book again in the near future and get to experience it thoroughly in all its glory.

We had a wonderful stay at this glamping site nestled between Llandudno and Betws-y-Coed—such a peaceful and scenic spot, perfect for a relaxing break in North Wales. Rachel, the host, was incredibly kind and accommodating, especially as we arrived later than expected after a long journey. She kindly allowed us to check in late, and to our delight, the wood-fired hot tub at our Shepherd’s Hut was already heated and ready for us—just what we needed to unwind. The Shepherd’s Hut itself was lovely—cozy, clean, and full of charm, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surrounding countryside was beautiful, and we loved waking up to the views and birdsong. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape with thoughtful touches and a warm welcome. Thank you, Rachel—we’ll definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing place to stay, faultless standard of the amenities, location, tranquility and super friendly host. Really did surpass all expectations for a private and beautiful getaway, surrounded by beautiful Welsh scenery and animals. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay whenever possible! My husband and I arranged a last minute getaway to Charlotte’s place and what a find it was. The descriptions fully matched the listing - the only thing she didn’t state was how beautiful and idyllic it is - a very rare find! Charlotte and Mito were so welcoming, and it was lovely to meet Simon and Willow, their two black labradors. All we can say is, if you’re unsure whether to book - don’t be - you will not be disappointed. We definitely aim to return! Thank you Charlotte x

This stay was perfect for our long weekend with our 1 year old and 2 dogs. We were after a relaxing spot and this ticked all the boxes for us. Private, quiet and you can see the lambs from the hut, a perfect Easter break. Hosts are lovely, recommended for little breaks when you want to get away from busy life

This listing was perfect for a quiet weekend away. It's so peaceful and calm. The space is lovely, and the views are inspiring. We had 2 great nights here, and had a BBQ and Lit a campfire. The room was well equipped and very comfortable.

Great little Shepherds hut. Ideal for a 2 night break. Very comfy bed. Amanda was very helpful. Superb surroundings. We walked to Llangollen and back along the Canal.

Beautiful little Shepard's hut with all the basics you need, stunning location away from the hum drum of life. Natalie, her husband plus their dog Bear, were very welcoming, helpful and happy to accommodate mine and my dog Frankie's needs. Highly recommend for a short break away! 🐾☺️

Very happy with our stay at Phil & Paula. The place was clean and tidy with everything you need from kitchen utensils to umbrella, radio and torch light. The host is very approachable when need it. It is clearly that the host cares about their customers and property.

Margaret was an amazing host and her shepherds hut was perfect for a short weekend away in Anglesey. Ideal location being that anywhere we wanted to go was around 20-25 mins tops if not closer.

Lovely room in a great location—just a 5-minute walk from shops, restaurants, and bars. Great spot to explore other areas of wales easily. Parking is available nearby for just £4 per day. The bathroom is separate from the room and can only be accessed from outside, but for the price, i couldn’t complain. The bed is a bit on the springy side, but overall, a pleasant and affordable stay. Thank you Ruby!

had a fantastic stay at the shepherds hut! The hut was very clean and cosy with everything provided. the surrounding views of the hills and mountains were outstanding! Beth as a host was amazing, she made sure we had everything we need and went extra doing things like lighting the hot tub so it was ready for our arrival. my gf and I are already talking about coming back, I couldn't recommend this place enough!

It was an absolutely fantastic three night stay in the Shepherds Hut. Abbey and her family were so welcoming and friendly. Lots of amazing animals on the property and beautiful scenery. Abbey was very helpful in recommendations and to respond to any queries. The lodge itself had everything that we needed and was very toasty after putting the fire on of an evening. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Beautiful place, super relaxing, great walks, lovely alpacas and a great community run pub a ten minute walk away. Jane has thought of everything and as ever, it's a real tonic to stay at the huts.

We had a glorious stay in the Shepherds Hut! Totally off the beaten track and surrounded by calving cows and idyllic lambs - my small children were mesmerised! There is everything you could need for a short break, the tea / coffee and toiletries are a great touch. Definitely more space than you think. The bottom bed / Harry Potter cupboard den kept the kids entertained for ages and is brilliant with the cubby hole and charging points. It’s actually brilliant for small children who would usually need a cot side and need darkness to sleep! We would love to come back :)

Absolutely gorgeous place to stay. Spotlessly clean, super cute set up and hot tub was amazing. Location is great, meaning you can walk into Barmouth town centre in 5 mins where there is loads of little shops, pubs and the beach. Really well thought out how they set up the cabins, meaning our little dog could roam around as it was completely enclosed. Would 100% return. Mark was lovely too.
